Just no. Vanquish was the top because they never skimp on quality. I'm guessing i would buy the axial raw builders kit over this one. I'm still building my pro, but Vanquish looses points because of this rig.
I guess that’s one opinion. Not sure how you can think that though. Still a strong upgrade path and a much more affordable entrance to one of the best platforms ever.
@@scalebuildersguild the whole reason I finally gave up the money for a vrs4 was for the axles and the transmission. The rear plastics get replaced, and the bumpers go into the parts bin. If I'm going to throw half of the thing into the spare parts box I'd rather toss cheaper stuff.
I agree with Brian. I have a penchant for machined hardware which is why VP has always appealed to me as a brand. I think it is great that they are offering a pocket friendlier version for the masses, but im going to hold out for a deluxe version. Upgrading would be too expensive for me as I live in Germany (Guten Tag) and getting hold of VP parts is a costly undertaking. Id much rather buy the finished product pay the shipping and any duties and be done with it. Interesting comment… this is one of my favourite rigs… what happened?
@@scalebuildersguild missing part , but vanquish step up and sending free replacement part out. Dissatisfied with shocks as your aware. Its a high price for a kit to run into these kind of problems , bought a lot of cheaper ones with zero issues. Again vanquish made it right, was going to delete message.
Then the truck gets built from there. So, this kit has removed all the good stuff that makes a Vanquish worth the money.
The VS4-10 PRO is an option, but i much prefer the features and look of the Phoenix, so as hard as it may be, im going to bite my lip and wait it out.
