Dude thank you for staying on topic the end of the video HELPED so much to answer my question of what makes a 2 step correction and what makes a 1 step thank you!
Love the end, a humble way of explaining that your method works for YOU and everyone will find different methods that work for them. There are tips in here I don't see in a lot of videos like priming the pad properly, getting the microfiber pad ready to go and maintenance.
you all probably dont give a shit but does anyone know a trick to get back into an Instagram account..? I was stupid forgot my account password. I love any help you can offer me
@John Martin Thanks for your reply. I found the site thru google and im in the hacking process atm. I see it takes quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Excellent narrative and demonstration. I like the total checklist for 8 steps and your logic on cleaning with a brush. Do you always brush with a stationary pad? I always put the brush on a spinning pad at setting 2. I would appreciate your feedback. Thanks
Very in depth and informative !!! Love the video and the knowledge you shared. I will be taking inspiration for my first paint correction on my first car soon....
Good vid ! A lot of your points make sense, I’m no professional but from watching a lot of detailing vids it seems most use less pressure when starting then more pressure as it finishes down , your way is opposite it seems more logical to me , are your still doing it the same way ??
During the tape process you mentioned the difficulty in getting compound or sealants(Jescar PL or similar) off plastic trim...could you make content that covers how to prevent that and how to properly remove when it does ?
Great video fella! But in your prep stage you really need to be careful of edges, either tape up the adjacent door seem, or prop door open with a tool in the door jam, lifting the working panel away from the other... use this process as you work each edge 👍👍👍 there is a great little tool that hooks in the door latch etc... look it up!
Chromatic Auto Detailing Really enjoying your channel! Some really good information, and yes there are some really odd and different ways to achieve the same goals... always interesting to see how others do it... 👍
Thank you for amazing video and the results, WOW! Definitely, you've earned one more subscriber. I will look into get those cutting pads, and also the Rupes yellow pad. Thank you again...😃😎
Hi do you no rinse foam compound pads before cutting like the hex logic pads and second question what is the minimum amount of pads to use on a full car from a diy perspective as it can be expensive using 15 pads.Any help appreciated thanks
Nice Video and very interesting content and pointers...... ps: i love that Mental Orange" toothbrush" thing !! loll! now that's a tool! Have a Great Long wk-end!!
It’s called a 2 step paint correction yet your still doing a 3rd step of applying a wax with a machine polisher again or is the final paint protection a spray on sealant or ceramic coating?
QUESTION : If car has a lot of scratches and some are quite deep so you need to paint them..but you also are planning to do full paint correction.. should we: 1. We first sort those deep scratches (preparation, sanding, painting, polishing), then do the full paint correction of whole car... 2. We do painting of deep scratches mid way of full paint correction... (after wash...iron and tar decontamination and clay bar decontamination) 3. We do all the steps of paint correction and before applying ceramic coating we focus on sorting those big deep scratches
I had to change polish, I can't cut it very well with Clearcut, it doesn't cut well, it uses a lot of polish and requires a lot of passes, does it happen to you ?! what would be the trick here ?! spread the product at speed 1 then cut at speed 4 / 4.5 with a pressure of 2 kilos ....
Chromatic Auto Detailing shouldn’t take 12 hours. A 1 step would normally be 2 hours to get around the entire car. Add an extra step and call it 4 hours. If you are spending 12 hours that’s way too long
If you all haven't seen a documentary called... It's worse then you think... By revelations of Jesus Christ ministry... I suggest you do... All praise and glory to the most high Jesus Christ
You're starting to become one of my favorite detailing youtuber
I really appreciate that my friend! It's only up from here! I'm excited to hear what compound/polish combo you end up liking the most!
Chromatic Auto Detailing Sonax cutmax and Sonax perfect finish can’t be beat for 2 step

Thanks buddy! Hope you're enjoying some warmer weather! I think we all deserve it haha
Like how you explain every step and kinda make it look easier! ... just subscribed! 👍🏼
Awesome video, I found it very helpful. Is your pad cleaning process the same for foam pads as it is the wool (powerwash > apc soak > air dry)?
Like your videos bro , very informative and clear , keep it up ,nice
Thanks buddy! Hope all is well!
Hey Chromatic - Awesome content bro...what sized detailing gloves do you wear?
Thanks bro! Size large gorilla gloves from Home Depot
During the tape process you mentioned the difficulty in getting compound or sealants(Jescar PL or similar) off plastic trim...could you make content that covers how to prevent that and how to properly remove when it does ?

Nice video bro and congratulations for the 1k 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Thanks buddy! Almost there, just a few more!
Man your videos are awesome!
Thanks Carlos! I really appreciate that, have a blessed week!
Love from India...
Awesome!! Question: Do you use the Kevin brown washer mod, with your rupes? Thanks
Hello sir. Do you usually use a polisher? I have a new batch of polishers recently. Would you be interested in helping me test them?
How do you clean you’re pad during polishing because mine gets really dirty from the compound
Once a pass is done on the pads and you’re cleaning it, should I spray no rinse again or only at the beginning of using the pad?
This would be a really good job for someone that’s paralyzed from the waist down
Hi do you no rinse foam compound pads before cutting like the hex logic pads and second question what is the minimum amount of pads to use on a full car from a diy perspective as it can be expensive using 15 pads.Any help appreciated thanks
Hey, could you tell me what moisture you spray on microfibre pad before puting cutting paste ? what lubricant you use , usually ?
Thanks!
But 15 buffing pads for one car is crazy 😂
Hey I realised u got decent clarity on using the compound clear cut. Why bother polishing?
Do you have an alternative for the perfecting cream you used one that is avaliable in europe?
Sick Vid man
Jarren Barlow thanks Jarren! Have a good Easter weekend!👌
How do you negate buffing machine making swirl marks?
Can you give your pad a quick spray of water before priming it?
YEssssir!
At the end you said you let the pads sit in a bucket of what ? ABC ?
Thanks for info. Link to the track?
How many lake country microfiber pads and rupes yellow pads are you using to buff/polish the whole car?
Can you use a quick detailer to prep the pad?
I wouldn't suggest it. A lot of them have waxes/sealants in them
Nice Video and very interesting content and pointers...... ps: i love that Mental Orange" toothbrush" thing !! loll! now that's a tool! Have a Great Long wk-end!!
Haha oh yeah! Love that little thing. You too Dan!
what does it spray on the pad? distilled water ??? does this fit for all types of berets ?!
Optimum No rinse!
@@ChromaticGarage
if it is with distilled water I can only spray it ?!
I have here with me carpro ech2o, will it also work? what dilution to do ?!
It’s called a 2 step paint correction yet your still doing a 3rd step of applying a wax with a machine polisher again or is the final paint protection a spray on sealant or ceramic coating?
Spray a little glass cleaner on a different microfiber rag and it’ll pick up compound off of anything

Do as your first proposal (1. We first sort those deep scratches... etc etc)
how do you clean your cutting and polishing pads?
Can you use foam pads?

Boy, dat shi da bomb! 😃
Ok I got it, I was checked video how to make own lubricant...
When i try to finish on my blue honda all it does is leave scratch marks same procedure as you doesnt work.
where are located ? nice video
In Ontario!
What opm you use to do compound?
🙌🙌🙌🙌finally
Haha spent a week trying to figure out how to detail efficiently again!
U use 15 pads for 1 car ?
you can exchange 10 cutting pads on an entire vehicle, but how do you wash them ?! 1 for 1 the hand?
Pre soak them and pressure wash them afterwards
@@ChromaticGarage yes but diving in what? Apc or detergent ... what liquid do you use to dip in the bucket ?!
How long does it take to do a 2 step correction on the entire car?
Hey Robert! It really depends on the condition of the paint but typically 12 hours minimum
Chromatic Auto Detailing shouldn’t take 12 hours. A 1 step would normally be 2 hours to get around the entire car. Add an extra step and call it 4 hours. If you are spending 12 hours that’s way too long
4 hours
@@briandraper7630id like to see your 4 hour "work"
I dont understand why your wiping panels dry and not using a ipa
Where are you guys located?
We're in Ontario, Canada. Waaaaay up north!
Low and slow when cutting bro. Much more effective.
Para que le ponen los suptitulos si ban mas rapido que el que abla
Top 👌 🇧🇪
Top
Thank you!
Did this car really need a compound though?
To me that looks like a way too agressive set for that paint condition.
