Noel Gallagher is and always will be my favorite songwriter/guitarist. Looking forward to many more years of his music, his songs have been the soundtrack of my life for the past 17 years, am 36 now and will still be enjoying the tunes for the next 17.

I don't know which version I prefer, this one has a very swaying tempo in a refined style and in the album the melody is just breathtaking with the bass line Noel for ever 🙏

He's such a brilliant songwriter and it's an absolute shame and travesty that he's not mentioned in the same breath/conversations as Neil Young, Bob Dylan and the like ( I'm a fan of neither btw )...seriously
It'll never happen because Morning Glory was wrote while Noel was on the dole (before they got the deal, barring one or two tracks). Noel himself has said that he'd never write another Wonderwall or Live Forever because if he did, he'd be lying to himself and his fans.
This is better than the studio version. On the studio version he steals the beginning from the Doors Five To One. I prefer most of his acoustic with Gem.
Is it safe to say Noel's getting better than McCartney these days? amazing how he can come up with such simple melodies that stick in yer head & put clever words to them. Anyone that's a fan of his knows they'll be a lot of good fucking songs when he does his solo work cos he has always delivered. he's simply the best of our times.
