Ferdinando Carulli - Grande Sonate

The "Grande Sonate" belongs to the "Grand recueil de morceaux progressifs", which is a collection of progressive musical pieces for classical guitar composed by Ferdinando Carulli..
The collection consists of a series of musical pieces arranged in a progressive manner, meaning that each piece introduces new technical and musical elements for the student to master gradually. It was made in a serie of 4 books and this sonata is the last piece of the 4th book. As you progress through the pieces, you are expected to acquire more advanced skills and knowledge in guitar performance.
The pieces in "Grand recueil de morceaux progressifs" encompass a variety of musical styles, ranging from simple and melodic works to more complex elements of counterpoint and harmony. Carulli wrote these pieces with the purpose of providing guitar students with engaging and challenging musical practice while developing their technical abilities.
