Same boat on locomotives .I keep mine in boxes except when on layout. I have an Athearn HO SD 9 in Union Pacific never ran it. Bought in the 90's. Looked at it this week had 6 axle gears & motor mounts broke .Fixed it 2 days ago. Fortunately parts are available
My goodness, you have more units then I have in rolling stock in my entire collection. It’s amazing how much you collection has grown. Thanks for sharing.

13:22 out of all of your engines that CSX Dash8-40CW has to be my favorite. You have a very fine collection here SMT! “I know you’ve been calling it a Dash9 in the past but...” I figured I’d let you know it’s actual model.
Much bigger locomotive collection then mine Currently I have 4 operational locomotives (with one missing both couplers) and 6 malfunctioning locomotives You did a very good job on the runaway train consist Maybe you could do the silver streak consist next Seeing that l&n deisel made me happy the l&n was a big rail system in my area (central Kentucky)
13:25 I have the Chicago North Western version of that loco (FM "Trainmaster"). It was made in the early seventies, my great grandfather had a bunch of athearn trains and gave some to me. It needs some work. It has the early motor type, the ones without the magnetic sheild.
A good memory to remember where you have gotten all your Locomotives from...I have maybe 45 Locomotives. My old train sets came back to me and with most of the others I got on eBay I think I should start fixing some of the Bachmann Locomotives this next Winter for something to do, now that I have learned how to fix them from watching most of your Videos only 7 need to be fixed...Thanks again for another fun time with SMT Mainline.
SMT's basement sure got drafty in the beginning. LOL love the collection. Keep up the good work. Also you're a OG SMT Mainliner if you remember the Scrumptious Model Trains days. P.S. I do.
Sweet mother of Jebus ,brother you have a huge collection of locos.....very very beautiful! I got into model railroading (N scale about 2 years ago ,as you may know) and I think I may have close to 120 so far, but all are mostly new and some older. It is nice to have a nice collection, and yours surely is most impressive ,frik`n beauty bro!! You must keep up the great work on your channel ,it is one of the most enjoyable to watch ,and I subscribe to only the best.Of all the subs I watch, you are probably in the top 5..such a breath of fresh air, don`t change a thing !! Big Paul T in Wpg.
Happy Halloween 🎃👻🦇. You definitely have quite the collection Harrison. It looks like you have maybe three Sharknose Tycos of which the Canadiana is hard to come by. Saw the Hershey Switcher on the shelf months ago during a live show, so no surprise there. You should mix it up a bit during the next live stream. I know everybody wants to see some of the same engines over and over again, but you can definitely mix it up with your collection. Gonna go listen and watch the thunderstorm moving through Northeast Pennsylvania right now. I am probably mistaken, but I thought you had a French Lima TGV as well?
The thing is the quebec and gatineau lots of ontario and quebec railways have the same trains just the logo that says Q and G is different. There's a ottawa valley railroad wich is the same. Knob lake and Timmons wich also is the same. There a railroad cald central Manitoba railroad and if you've watched hockey it the same as the old buffalo Sabres logo.
5:56 I believe that is an Athearn genesis 2-8-2. Top of the line for Athearn, but it was made quite a few years ago, so now it wouldn’t be as detailed as the newer ones. But still a great locomotive.
You should totally make a CN main line or local or something like that with you CN engines, I just think doing something like that where you run em like that would be cool so it's not random but like a CN day and then CP or something like that I can see that CN SD40-2 going great with one of the CN GP40s
Nice collection but do any of them talk? Haha. Each one has a story. I can’t believe you remember where each one is from and the year you got it. Pretty impressive. Can’t wait to see what you buy Sunday. :)
Hey SMT, you’ve got quite a collection. It will be hard to sell them all at the end of your time collecting. I recommend getting rid of some, but it’s your choice. Love the collection though
Too many issue with Bachmann wont buy thar brand anymore. Nice collection. Looks like you got some tables to expand the N scale layout. Know that you mention it how is the Mammoth project coming? Need a update brother.
Bachmann Spectrum is the only Bachman i have ever bought .One Pennsylvania steam & one F unit Western Maryland & 2 GPs They ran really good but i haven't run them in over 15 years. I think i will run them sometime in 2021

There are multiple problems in the ho trains and SMT mainline has a lot of repairing videos. Watch a lot of them and find the video where the train has the same problem as yours and follow Mr. Harrison on repairing it.
Nice collection buddy! I like that Union Pacific emd dda40x aka the centennial though! I used to have one but I gave it away. Now I’m thinking someday, I would like to get it again idk.
Y'know that's scotsman if it's fixed and one day you wanna sell it its prob worth 650. But then again I wouldn't sell something that's been past down like any of my dads trains
Awesome locomotive fleet! Although lots of cases of "it fell off the table", I've had only 3 cases of that (a Bachmann USRA 0-6-0, and two Life Like GP38-2s; all damaged beyond repair) but I will tell you that plexiglass is a VERY good investment on the edges of the table! Would hate to see one of the nicer units take a plunge, that's for sure. Interesting about 2001, same year I was born, what day were you born? I was born November 7th, ironically the day before my dad's birthday (November 8th), so I was sort of his "birthday gift" haha!
I ought to invest in a bit of plexiglass too. My "4"-4-0 has fallen off of the table more times than SMT has locos. Whether Emmie the Beast was at work, or a certain neophyte (me) turned up the voltage to 25, it has had several nasty bonks and not only runs like it was sitting in the box since it was packaged up more than 65 years ago (it hasn't been), but it also looks the part!

The moment you realize you have so many locomotives to the point where that you can’t even fit them all in a photo.

Very nice collection.
2-8-2s are Mikados like the one you showed. The black, gray and moroon red locomotive is a Hudson because it's a 4-6-4. 4-6-4s are Hudsons.
