After a rideout and parking the r9t in the garage while its still hot i def smell fuel after the removal. The heatvfrom the engine will warm up the tank above and gasoline so the fumes will evape from the tank...but i dont mind, i love the smell of gasoline 😂
This is a very useful walk-through video. I removed mine (2014 model) a few years ago. And this video is spot on for anyone interested in removing their EVAP Charcoal Canister. 👊✊️👍😀
You may have just filled up your tank. The canister holds the overflow from your tank, now that the canister is gone, that overflow just exits out the drainage tubes to the floor.

@@TheShagans yeah but it also holds the Gas vapors, it doesnt matter how full the tank is, i always smell fuel after the canister removal.
