Absolutely no specs mentioned at all. Did ASUS not provide that information?
    Resolution, PPI, FOV, audio, compatibility?

Yes, XR glasses have all been 1080p based so far that I've seen. Low PPD, low desktop/app real-estate. To replace a single desktop screen imo you'd need at least a 4k workspace in 60 degree wide viewing angle, multiple screens would need even higher specs. For a laptop, maybe 1600p but the screen would have to be smaller to your perspective like a 15" laptop imo in order to get higher PPD (and it would still be limiting desktop/app real-estate wise compared to 4k+).
A lot of the XR glasses also fail to do 3dof stuff well or at all. Hand gestures, eye tracking, and importantly most can't pin a virtual screen in place in your environment or pin it in relation to yourself seamlessly/stably or at all.
Once XR glasses get very, very high resolution, . . precise, stable 3dOF interactivity, eye tracking, and pinning of virtual objects and applied things in real space . . . . and start doing high rez MR with AI interaction, AI mapping things and environments for skinning them, having virtual objects react to the environment/real world objects and boundaries, lighting, etc. - in addition to providing very high detail virtual screens (which they can't do yet), things will get very interesting.

OK so here we have AR glasses with 2x 1080p head-mounted screen, 45°Fov, and a USB-C port on the branch. Exactly the same product, same specs, as Xreal Air (i have) launched 3 years ago.
    Bravo Asus !

Field of view is up to 57 degrees, not 45. People who tried them said it made a big difference compare to the Xreal Air Pro.

I think these will never succeed. They are too thick and are quite different from regular glasses. These are aupposed to target digital nomads but nobody will work in a coffee shop wearing these. The first criteria is too look cool and rich that's why most part of digital nomad stay in starbucks with the last macbook while starbuck coffee are not so good and 90% of digital nomad don't need such a powerful computer. They will wear these kind of glasses when they will REALLY looks cool and expensive.
