Saw Rachel as Elphaba on Broadway and didn’t care for her portrayal at all. Her Americanized acting was so bizarre. (I’m an American) Loved her voice but hated her characterization. I happened to be in London when she was finishing up at this time. I decided to give her another try. Boy was she different. Her West End portrayal was absolutely sensational it was like seeing a different performance. I wish the Broadway Producers let her keep her accent. She was so much better in London.
3:30 WTF I JUST HEARD...I HAD AN EARGASM IN THE "I COULD MELT" PART!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Grrrrrrrrroooowlllll, love it, pitch perfect, passion and fun...it was a great night.
She sounds so much more natural here than she did in the broadway version. She truly is a kickass Elphaba.
Elphaba’s go to the west end and literally become their best selves.
I can't believe this actually happened... unreal
That is FANTASTIC
this was an amazing night Rachel was in top form
That growl at the end my god
I love her making it her own.
Rachel is one of the best!! ❤

It’s funny because she’s Irish and Irish folk tend to do American accents easier then British

She was INCREDIBLE when I saw her in NYC, but unfortunately I've never seen her "across the pond." 😢
