@@kaysi6605this! My vocal teacher used to train me up on this song and one of her tactics for making sure my diction was right was to throw a bean bag at me full momentum every time I sang "gravi-dee" instead of "Gravi-tee" WORKS THOUGH
These two are phenomenal. Rachel Tucker does something for me that I can’t quite describe. And Louise Dearman? She’s been both Glinda *and* Elphaba: that speaks for itself.
Every Elphaba is special. I can honestly say I have no favorite (jk Willemjn is def my #1) but Rachel’s performance is so smooth and graceful. She captured The Wicked Witch’s soft side perfectly. I cried listening and watching this multiple times. Wow!
Hi thank you for a great clip this was the year that we first saw Wicked than we saw it once or twice a year till Rachel Tucker left and what a night that was my wife and l shed a tear that night 😢 we would wait at the stage door to get a picture she was such a nice person the best, we saw Louise Dearman do it too but good but it’s not Rachel that was the last time we saw it and this clip bought it all back that first time 👍
Everyone's ears are different. To me she was perfection during this run. The only other woman who could make me go back and see Wicked again is Jessica vosk
That growl!!!!!! Girl there’s no one like you, my favorite Elphaba always put me in tears.
Her diction is impeccable. You can understand every word she's saying and I like how it sounds like she's having a real conversation with Glinda.
Welcome to British musical training.

American theater training is the same... Dictation was the first thing we learned.
THE GROWL GETS ME EVERY TIME
Rachel's iconic growl is fantastic!! She was absolutely the best!! Holding that growl is amazing!
This was the gold Wicked cast - Rachel Tucker, Louise Dearman, Mark Evans. Absolutely scintillating on stage!
Diamond cast would have been Oliver thompsett with Rachel and Louise.
I was lucky enough to seem them live on West End in 2010. They were amazing!
❤Rachel tucker, Sarah earnshaw, and Lee mead in nov 2011. Amazing my first time
So glad she’s playing Persephone on HadesTown now 😭🫶🏻
Oh my! Rachel has me all emotional. She put her all in that performance. Love seeing her version of Elphaba.
i would pay anything to see her sing this again 😭😭
the growl on the ending note is so much good
My original pair, no one ever matched them.
she was amazing! Clear diction and their blend is perfect! love the straight tones!
Rachel is beyond brilliant!!!that growl , you feel every moment
I would pay so much to see these two again. Thanks so much for sharing and sending me back to my first years in London 🥺
I remember her from "I'll do anything on tv" she was fantastic then!
These two are phenomenal. Rachel Tucker does something for me that I can’t quite describe.

Thank you for sharing! What a great capture. Always love to see new clips.
11 years from this performance 💚
I’m seeing Rachel Tucker in Sunset Boulevard this week at London’s Savoy Theatre
thank you! Rachel is my all time favourite Elphaba

This woman 😭
Never forget seeing this on June 27th 2012
Fun fact I saw Wicked for the first time this very same night at the Gershwin. Mandy Gonzalez played elphaba and Katie rose Clarke played Glinda

gina beck 검색하시면 둘이서 노래부른 야외공연영상 보실 수 있어요. 제 위키드 인생이서 둘이 최고의 조합 ㄷㄷㄷ
THAT’S my QUEEN 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🥰🥰

Thank you
Have you got any more clips to share? These are all so exciting to watch.
I have highlights from both performances. Glad you're enjoying!
@@MAM-dt8xmdid you film this?
Were they the cast in July 2011? I think when I went to London I watched them but I’m not sure but they were fantastic
❤️❤️❤️
do you have the full boot? x
I didn’t realise that she did Wicked for this many years
The only time "STOP!" hasn't made me cringe. Wow.
ikr! and plus she was the only glinda that made me laugh when she says "sweet oz"
her voice sounded smaller here omg
No one matches Rachel in this role!
Sorry, but this was WAY BETTER THAN EDINA's!
I like rachel and she has a great voice - but she was always extremely pitchy. Half of the notes are basically flat. Same with eden espinosa
Think you might need to get your ears checked

She's kinda screechy. Have seen others sing this a lot better.
