Thank you for taking us to where we can't go at the moment - locked up at home in Sydney. Our camper trailer and 4WD ask every time I walk past them - "When are you taking us on an adventure again?". :-) Cheers and keep living the dream. Dave
Love the video work you guys do. Our beach flies are just as aggressive, though we don't have lizards to clean up the remains. Trish, the video didn't show the breakdown of the canopy, but on assembly, you used zipp ties to attach the fabric to the posts. If you cut them to remove, using a velcro strap through the zipp tie makes set up and tear down quick and doesn't waste the ties. I purchased bags of them for my studio lighting cables. The airing up of the tires must take some time with the small compressor. Since Mercedes Benz has trucks that probably use the same engine as yours and uses air brakes, you might look into installing on-board air. My experience with portable 12 volt compressors is they take forever to fill a tire the size on the truck and stop working at the worst time. Your Mogg looks great and well thought out in the build.
Thanks, for the compliments. We have moved to proper tent clips on the awning, the snap on and off. It only takes us a few minutes to pump up the tyres, we have full onboard air, and two electric compressors as well. What you see there is the automatic tyre inflater, like what you get in the garages. We just clip it on, set the pressure and wait.
It is great mid week, but judging by the amount of cars coming over on Friday night, it would be very busy on weekends, and crazy busy on public holidays.

Fantastic part of Straya, never let the weather deter you, it always clears, camped near there for a week some time ago, 4WD, and a tarp slung in the trees, gas fire, slept in 4wd back seats folded down, plenty of wildlife including a "friendly" brown snake who casually passed through. 4WDs only? not back then, many Vdubs, kombis and Beetles, even a Holden ute came by.
Thanks for watching, we don;t mind storms, but the constant rain and really strong winds did get a bit much, at least we could stay warm and dry inside. We have to take the good with the bad, all part of the experience.
Thanks once again for the incredible filming of Australia, beyond words beautiful!! That beach is something else I do not believe anything like that exists in the US and if it did I am sorry to say it would be destroyed with trash, both people and garbage and then we have no shortage of idiots here and they would be driving down the beach at 150 mph and people would be killed and the govt. would close it to protect normal people from the idiots! What can I say America, now days I dont even recognize it or what its supposed to stand for anymore and I have lived here all my life! Thank you for allowing us to share in your travels it feels wonderful!
Thank for watching, Australia is indeed beautiful. We have our fair share of idiots here as well, and there have been a number of people killed on that section of beach by bad driving. One of the reason for the permits is to protect the rest of us from the idiots, the police even have speed cameras and drug / breatheliser patrols there during peak times. The recently removed tons of rubbish from the beach, people just leaving their tents, and even old lounge suites the carted down for a long weekend then leave as trash for other people to clean up. We were surprised to see a number of people in small tents and some in cars with roof top tents, and no doubt they don't have any toilet facilities so we can guess where they go. It is sad to see so many place ruined by let over toilet paper from people who just don't care.
Yes, we realised that when we were looking at the footage, and have bought a new microphone which seems to be much better, just need to get out into the wind to test it properly.

Great scenery except for all the vehicles, looked more like a main road at times. Well done with your first talk to camera it’s not easy but you will master it though I would recommend a remote mike to make better quality sound. Your overview commentary is again first rate!
Thanks, there sure where a lot of cars, epecailly on the weekend. We have already bought a better microphone, with something furry called a "dead cat" for it.
@@UnimogAdventures but it also means they know where you are, in case of fire. They know how many people. But mostly if some morons stuff up the camp site, leave rubbish and shit everywhere, they know who the dumb bastards are. We did have or need permits 40 odd years ago on our first trip. But in the main, those travelling were more considerate.
Yes, there are designated camping areas, in busy times, that area is supposed to hold about 20 vehicles - would be the same as a caravan park. We would not want to go there on a busy long weekend.

The winds are almost always south-easterly there you need to park around the other way
Thanks, next time we will park the other way.
Great 👍
Thanks Scott
Your beautiful country never ceases to amaze. Really enjoy watching your videos. Stay safe and keep the videos coming.
Thank you! Will do!
Great video / You need a little work on your audio / But that will come with more videos Thanks for sharing,
We are working on it, have bought a new microphone with a"dead cat"
Bad luck with the weather, otherwise that's a beautiful piece of coastline.
It is beautiful, and the weather was good for a couple of day, but we did enjoy it and the awning passed the gale force wind test.
My wife has a bikini she made from some dental floss and three bottle caps.
lol, that would be a bit painful lol
Nice 👍
Thanks for the visit
Wow the view is amazing!….👌🏽
The beaches are alright too!!
Thanks for watching
A Permit? On a remote beech?
Yes, everything everywhere requires a permit these days. Welcome to the NWO….
Yes, a few places have started doing that now unfortunately.
@@UnimogAdventures but it also means they know where you are, in case of fire. They know how many people. But mostly if some morons stuff up the camp site, leave rubbish and shit everywhere, they know who the dumb bastards are. We did have or need permits 40 odd years ago on our first trip. But in the main, those travelling were more considerate.
hi just wondering what brand of chairs you have
They are J & R Guram
bella signora🤩
Thank you 😃
Middle of nowhere and it looks like someone set up right beside you!
Yes, there are designated camping areas, in busy times, that area is supposed to hold about 20 vehicles - would be the same as a caravan park. We would not want to go there on a busy long weekend.
