CHRIR&Ann, hello,,but I had not known of the LANDIES ,I saw the JEEP,& TOYOTA CREW CAB WITH A BODY THEN PULLING A CARAVAN, BUT this is an interesting trip. 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇺🇸🇺🇸
You both do such a great job! Between the excellent photography and excellent narration, I almost feel like I am there with you both. LIVING THE DREAM!!!!
Thank you! I have always dreamed of seeing Australia, but it was only a dream until you came along with your video adventures. You have a beautiful country. While we, United States, have some beautiful places, it is so commercialized. Thanks you again, and keep the videos coming!
Hi wow amazing video I have done a fair bit of travelling in the Qld / Nt Part of the desert country awesome what’s out here, driving Landrover for hundreds of Klms whilst doing Seismic exploration. Thanks for sharing, it bought back some good memories.Take care🤩🤩
Thanks for another educational adventure. I thought I would miss the BIG truck but was glad to see it again in the end, the Land Rover is still very nice. Gorgeous photos, keep up the fun times and stay safe.
Thanks for the tour of Australia. It was wonderful traveling with you. The interior of your country is amazing. Somewhere in the middle of the video I was thinking, these guys need a drone. It wasn't 2 minutes later... there it is. Thanks for posting. Cheers from the US.
Spectacular video!!!! I love how your mode of travel has evolved!!!! The Rover’s undoubtedly served you well, but, the Unimog is the bomb!!!! Thank you both for sharing your journeys. I live in the states, even if I made to Australia, I’d probably never get to see these parts of your country!!!!
Awesome adventures glad to see your earlier trips and different vehicles. Beautiful landscape pictures and sooo many places. Australia is an awesome country, so glad I’ve seen much of it myself. Thanks for sharing your adventures TrickyTrev 👍
Nice to see how you evolve bettween different vehikels. here the snow is gone so we can start our own RV season ( our second so we are newbies) with not so good photogrsfer as you have but a nice model ;). next winter we hopfully have winter tires and adabted the kontiki for winter. luckely we don´t have the heat that you have woulden´t stand it. But I gues it is nice when clothing is optional most of the time ;)
I had lost sight of you guys in the last few weeks, I’m so happy to have found you again!! I love the Landrovers, they’re my kind of expedition vehicle; thanks for a great adventure!👍🏼
I enjoyed your video! Now if I can just convince the wife to get a Unimog and travel around like you two. Looking forward to more adventures, from Spokane Valley, State of Washington.
Very cool journeys. Man you guys really get around! I don’t know I would dare to go so far off road without any one or thing for days on end. Good on ya!
G'day to the two of use's. great video's and photos, but I am wondering, were you both ever in townsville a few years ago, and did you ever do the walk in the early morning around many peaks range, I use'd to have a short chat to this couple on the sunday morning as they walked back along the coastal track. hope for a reply. Ben
Wow, what an awesome video of your outback adventures . Must have been good to get to the beach. I was amazed to see you following a camel. Make me wonder how many there are in that area.
Such great adventures and views. That cool little monitor lizard was amazing. And I'm curious how he gets anything done taking pics of you would make it difficult to keep focused on work lol.
Besides the stunning landscape I really appreciate your superb pronunciation. Even english isn’t my native language it’s effortless to follow your explanations. Are the additional portable solar panels necessary or a nice-to-have?
Thank you. The extra panels are needed when we park the truck in the shade. We also need them in winter when in the southern parts of Australia, there is just not enough sun. We have added another 350W solar panel to the truck recently as well.
@@UnimogAdventures Thank you! You have an awesome 'Mog! I watched the other technical videos - found out that it took quite a bit of time to complete your desired design. The transformation of your 'Mog is amazing. Happy adventures! Cheers!

Defender isn’t really bigger or has larger load capacity than a discovery.
Gerat journey’s
The old TDi is quite a bit smaller inside, and could only carry around 720kg, whilst the Defender could carry over a ton
@@UnimogAdventures my disco 300tdi is capable of loading 880kg.
The Unimog is superb! I am sure the fuel consumption is terrifying .
Thanks, fuel consumption is not too bad for an 8 ton truck. We have records for the past 50,000km and it is on average 21.5l/100km
Nice one
