The computer generated novel drum solos using HarmonAI's Dance Diffusion model.
The model was finetuned using drum solos taken from vinyl records.

It's far from perfect, but however it was done it catches some key stuff of solos, like dynamics, linear phrases, hitting different drums in a back and forth sequence, and also some kind of human timing. It is quite impressive actually, ugh
