- As car enthusiasts, we dream of one day owning a nice big garage. Even if we currently own a garage, there’s always a nicer garages out there. So I took a trip up and down the east coast to visit some of my friends that own way nicer garage’s than I do. These are four of my favorite garage’s shown in no particular order.

The second garage is probably my favourite, it's the combination of professional and cozy, it's probably the only realistic garage for everyone of us, meaning we could all achieve having that garage.

Obsessed garage and Tavarish’s garage are the tale of two different kinds of mechanics. Which really goes to the types of cars they build. You have people who make beautiful show cars, and you have people who build really awesome performance cars not matter how ugly they get there.Different goals result in different shops and their layout/condition.
Matts part brings me back to this video, as someone recently diagnosed with old i love seeing the way he uses his cars as a way to alleviate his urges in a healthy way.. fucking awesome garage too, not a speck of dirt or dust
My hat's off to Obsessed Garage. Talking openly about your struggles with OCD, or any struggle, takes courage.
It makes for a good story to tell people to go along with your store. His therapist actually cleared up that he is obsessed with his phobia of the unknown. I forgot what the actual term was that she said.

That first garage is so nice I would not even want it. I would not want to work on my car in it, I would not want to park a dirty car in it in fear of making it dirty. The 2nd garage was perfect, big enough for 3 cars wide and plenty of storage for tools and being able to move around comfortably.
OCD? I'm ADHD and I also spend a lot of my time on my car and it is one of the rare things I can "hyper-focus" on ;)

wow the ocd one hit home, everything has a place for me as well. the amount of detail that guy put in to keep his shop that tidy is outstanding.
The second guy (I think its Ryan) strikes the perfect balance for me. Not a neat freak, yet not too messy. He also has a TV and a beer fridge for his mates 👌🏾💯🍺
I'd love to have half of the cars Ed has. If I had to pick three, I'd pick the Scuderia, the Murcielago, and the 28 hour Mercedes. Also, I'd have a field day at Obsessed Garage's warehouse and house, while Tavarish's garage would stress me out after a few days because broken cars are broken and I wouldn't know how to fix some of them.
Ed is living the dream for sure. I'd think his life is way too exciting to ever be bored. I think his garage alone is as big as my entire property.

As a Nissan Pulsar owner, I am here to cheer for one to be noticed. Even if it is a beat up base model... Mine is turbocharged and a heck of a lot more fun then the sohc 1.6L versions. The gears and gasoline guys have also entertained me quite a lot with the road trip videos they did, so I am happy this Pulsar spotting has come to pass.

We all may have different spaces, but at the end of the day, we all share a passion for cars.

I don't know him personally, I don't follow him on social media, I don't follow him on youtube, I'm not subscribed to his channel, I've only seen a few of his videos that have come across my screen as suggestions. In this video he said he was diagnosed with ocd, obsessive compulsive disorder. He did not say he diagnosed himself or that the google search results of why he keeps things clean and in order came back with him having ocd. I just found that interesting because I did not know that about him and felt I would put that in my comment. If he doesn't have ocd, which you obviously strongly believe he doesn't, than oh well. No big deal, I don't care. I will be able to hold myself together and go on about my life.

I know I am a couple years late, but I would have solved VinWiki's Garage door problem. Each door would get a long L shaped bracket. The top of the L would be on the furthest part of the door on attached via a pin and then the lower portion of the L would face into the wall so the bar looks like a boomerang coming off the wall. At the bottom left of the L you would drill a hole and then mount the arm as if it was a door on a fixed hinge. Then put you a small hydraulic pump to push the lower base of the L, also on a pivot-able pin. This would allow the door to open with minimal force and short travel length of the hydraulic. This could be mounted at any height realistically.

So cool to hear someone dealing with ocd similar to me. I used to have it really bad when I was younger, and it got a lot better when I was in my young teens. But now that I am being trained as a machinist, where perfection is worth more money, I can harness that stress/worry and I feel like it helps me make better parts. Very encouraging to hear someone with a similar issue dealing with it in a similar way.
I don't know anything about cars or garages but Obsessed Garage definitely looked like the best
Another beautiful video you guys! All of these podducks are 🔥. We can all agree that ower own how ever small or big clean or dirty are even more beautiful. Example I love the garage at my dad's house. Just because of all the memories I have made there. Hanging with the homies back in highschool drinking a couple brews. It would take us 1 entire day to change the oil of one of ower cars. But we didn't care we were just kicking it shooting the shit flipping through all the car magazines and we would eventually get to that oil change.
