Stunning your best content yet ,these types of vlogs should be getting 1000s of views I know it is all to do with youtube algorithms but think this one could reach dar and wide, I will have to visit I am not so far away 'Malaga' , can't believe I drove past this place many years ago in hire car.

      Hi Antonio,
Thank-you so much for your kind comment. Unfortunately the UA-cam algorithm seems to fail us each week. We have a good "view duration" and a good "click-through rate" each week, yet UA-cam stops sharing the videos to people for some reason. 🤷🏼‍♀️ We have no idea why. Anyway, we'll keep doing what we do and hopefully, eventually UA-cam will decide it's ok for more people to see them.
We would definitely recommend a visit though. The area is blissful. When you go, we'd love to know if you thought we did the area justice. 😉
Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment.
Much love Alison and Darren 💜🤟

@@findingxanadulife I agree with Antonio. As a Spaniard, I do believe you´re constantly producing some of the very best van-related content about Spain, showing me places I didnt´t even know myself.
Great video quality and lovely couple´s chemistry.
There are so many van channels in Spain getting thousands upon thousands of views with pretty poor content, so I don´t understand if you killed UA-cam´s dog. Maybe it´s worth getting a UA-cam´s algorithm tutorial or something.
Whatever it is, well done you guys.

@1650million Wow, thank-you so much ☺️ What area of Spain are you from..?
Before we go any further let us say, that no matter what our cats may tell our dogs, we don't agree with that type of dog discipline. If UA-cam's dog was naughty and has been punished, we didn't do it. No animals were harmed in the making of any of our videos. 🤣🤣🤣
Honestly, we don't get it. Darren is a bit excessive at times (as he admits himself) and if a subject interests him, he researches the ins and outs of a gnats @rse out of it. He's watched SO many tutorials, it's beyond belief. With the view durations that we get and the click through rates, some of our videos should have been shared through the stratosphere, yet UA-cam will just suddenly stop sharing them. It doesn't help that it often shows them as 'up next' suggestions to people that have watched the most random videos. Our favourite so far was "Bob Hopkins best movie clips". As much as we love Bob Hopkins, we don't feel that we are up to the standard of his best bits, so probably shouldn't have been suggested.
We will still plug away and see what happens.
Again thank-you so much for watching and your kind comment.
Much love Alison and Darren 💜🤟

@@findingxanadulife I told you 'this should and would' gets lots of views ' many many more I hope I am spreading the word, a lot of work goes into these believe me I have tried myself and just to walk, talk, interact , impart information takes some doing, I tried myself and failed, stay safe and keep the content coming

    • @findingxanadulife
      @findingxanadulife  Місяць тому

@antoniocrawley It is definitely a lot of work. Multi-tasking like that is traumatic in itself and Darren's editing even more so. He loves to make sure that each piece of music, matches the beat to the clip changes and often our walking speed too. It's way too much brain power for me. You'll soon know if Darren is ever ill and I have to take over. 🤪
On a serious note though, we're sorry you decided that making videos wasn't for you.
What sort of videos did you make..??
PS Thanks for also spreading the word. It's very much appreciated 💜🤟

Morning guys, just catching my breath watching that, as Darren you've reminded me what it feels like to film while walking uphill 😂 Never mind the trip hazards which we also ignore when a camera's in hand 🙈 It's a difficult job multitasking, I think the lungs as well as the brain struggle to keep up 😂. Mind you, its harder for you guys there in the Spanish heat!
A satisfying cornucopia of delightful places this week, Castril and that canyon was a never ending wow moment! What a gorgeous village, and then that impressive canyon with the beautiful water. Divine ❤
Always frustrating turning up to a place to find it shut only an hour earlier, or only for that day, especially when the plan is to film 😂🤦‍♂️
I did love the chapel in the cliff. A shame about parts of Villena, but even then you could see how nice it would be if the buildings were restored. Those traditional looking Spanish homes certainly have something about them.
Much love both, and onto the next one ❤🤟

      Hey Guys,
Breathing and talking whilst climbing steps or a steep slope is never easy, that's why I (Alison) try to stay quiet. For both of us, sometimes just walking, breathing and not tripping over is a task too far. (It's worse for Darren who is the clumsiest) 🤣
We really loved the places we visited in this video. There was always something gorgeous to look at (other than Darren) and again the people were so nice.
As for turning up to places that are closed, it serves us right for me not doing my research properly. #MustTryHarder 🤣
There are definitely more jaw dropping places to come...🤪
      Much love 😘🥰💜🤟

Starlink, one payment, the dish is yours you can take it wherever you go, we live in the mountains in the Almanzora valley, fabulous wifi, it means I can work remotely on top of our mountain 😊😊

When we have more expendable cash, that would be a great option, but at the moment. €399 for the equipment and €59 per month subscription, restricted to Europe, is just not doable for us. Working remotely on the top of a mountain sounds blissful. *Yodels* 😍
      Thanks for your comment.

Spain and its monumental views. The hike was great. I wonder about Villena, if it is a depopulation problem like some cities in Italy. People are having less kids or none. The ones that they have are leaving those small towns for bigger cities. In Italy they have a program in some cities that you can buy a home for €1, you just have to renovate those delspilated homes. Maybe that can work there in Villena.

    • @findingxanadulife
      @findingxanadulife  Місяць тому +1

Sounds like a great idea. A lot of homes that are passed down from generation to generation, end up derelict because of the inheritance tax and that any debt owed by the person who dies, must also be taken on with any other inheritance. For some people, it just isn't worth inheriting, so the houses are left to rot, because no-one can legally do anything with them. It's such a shame. 😔
      Thanks for your comment. 😘💜🤟
