Directions: Choose your preferred type of cheese for the crackers. Note that the amount of oil in the cheese will affect the drying time and the texture of the crackers. Slice the cheese into the size of crackers you desire. Place the cheese slices on a paper plate, ensuring they are not touching each other. Cover the cheese slices with a napkin to absorb excess moisture. Place the paper plate with the cheese slices covered in the refrigerator. Allow the cheese slices to dry out in the refrigerator until they become somewhat translucent. The drying time will vary depending on the type of cheese and the amount of oil present. Once the cheese slices have dried out and reached your desired consistency, remove them from the refrigerator and microwave for 30 to 45 seconds let cool and Enjoy Enjoy experimenting with different cheeses and drying times to create crackers that match your taste preference Thanks again and Enjoy
Yes, Jan just let it dry in refrigerator for a day or two. The longer you dry it the more cracker like it will be.😊 thanks and hope you had a wonderful day
@@cheffatgrams I agree! I used to let them dry out the same way then pop in the oven or microwave. I got an email from Harvest Right yesterday for refurbished medium ones for $1700 with full warranty as a new one and thought man that’s way less than we paid!
@@charlotteestess268 I refuse to promote that company. They have the worst customer service I’ve ever seen. If I were not a technician I would’ve been done I’ve had to repair my own equipment twice.
This method also works great with the rind from Parmesan cheese. Skip the drying part. Just pop in microwave or oven to pop the parm rinds. Whole Foods sells just the rinds also
@@cheffatgrams my husband hates the smell of parm but he eats it all the time lol!! He complains though every time about the smell. Same thing for feta cheese but he eats that also several times per week too lol!
I do something similiar with American Deli Cheese. I just cut them up (no drying required), place on parchment paper on the microwave round tray, microwave about 45 seconds, and I have cheese crisps. Been doing it for years as a quick snack. Thanks for this, I'm going to try some other cheeses now!
Cheese has to be refrigerated or it will grow bacteria so the drying process is done in the refrigerator. Once they’re dried out, simply store them in a Ziploc bag and pop them in the microwave when you want some crackers🎉
It will vary depending on the dryness of the cheese. Also, the longer you dry them the more dense the cracker will be. The ones in the video were dried for two days and then placed in this bag. Currently I’m using just my dehydrator trays in the refrigerator for large batch purposes😁
I need more details. I have no idea what you did to dry out the cheese. So you put it on the paper plate with paper towels... then what? OK, I see below you answered someone's question. So you put them in the fridge to dry out then microwave them. You should add these details along with what you put in the description box above.

Excellent and simple! Thank you!

I put sliced cheese in my freeze drier for cheese chips. I love them so much
I have a freeze dryer too but most people can’t afford $4000+ for a piece of equipment😔 this is a Wallet friendly version😜

Also yours are much less money than buying Moon Cheese which is similar. They use cheese curds I think

Been a while since I heard that phrase🤣😂 I hope you enjoy them.😜
😮 are you microwaving the cheese to dry out? How did you store the dryed out cheese? I'm full of questions 😂. I hope you had a good time at keto con.

@KetoMama777 you’re welcome Ruth, see you tonight on Mel’s live
How long do you leave them out to dry?
The magic number seems to be about two days in the fridge. But I’m still working on it with my Dorito recipe
So, you just let them sit out and dfy up before you microwave them? How long does it take the to dry out?
