    I use egg whites instead of water which helps give some added protein.

    Thank you so much for this recipe. I have just made these and it was the easiest, simplest recipe I have found for crackers/chips. They are crispy and delicious. I used your taco powder recipe and wow 💥. My husband loves them. Looks like I will have to make a double batch next time.👍

    When rolling out the dough, you could use your tortilla press to make it into a circle and then continue rolling keeping it in a circle and then cut it into wedges and then you wouldn't have any little scraps to take care of.

    Freeze flaxseed before first grind, grind, REFREEZE and regrind. Barely more coarse than white flower. Repeat if necessary. Turn baking sheets over if not using convection.

    *I've made them w/sunflower seed meal, flax & a little oil w/the water however, also quite delicious~ yet not nearly as simple & economical as yours.

      I haven't tried it but it probably would work. Depending on how much sweetener you add you might need to add a little more water to balance out the extra bulk

    Wondering if toasted sesame and sunflower seeds roughly chopped can be added to this recipe, would it work? TY ❤️

      @JanetsDeliciousLowCarbKitchen  Рік тому +2

      I haven't tried mixing anything in with it but you can always try. If you do add anything you may need to add a tiny bit more liquid but it really depends on what and how much you add

    I wonder if you could add protein powder?

    • @JanetsDeliciousLowCarbKitchen
      @JanetsDeliciousLowCarbKitchen  8 місяців тому

      You probably could. You would most likely need to cut back a little on the flaxseed meal or slightly increase the liquid

    Why don’t you just use the circle shape and cut into tortilla chips?

    • @JanetsDeliciousLowCarbKitchen
      @JanetsDeliciousLowCarbKitchen  3 місяці тому

      You can cut these into whatever shape or size. It all depends on if you want more of a tortilla chip texture or a cracker texture
