No one can convince me that the guy who made Megan is missing wasn’t just making his own weird fetish content. He’s definitely just into that and filmed a whole movie around taking those pictures as an excuse.
@@OddoFelacio I'm suddenly transfixed by the urge to create a small puppet-sized porn theatre for him to chill out in between videos. Think I have just enough woodworking skills to pull it off, just gonna have to order a bunch of tiny theatre chairs which will then be given the "distressed" look so they approximate what old crusty ass porn theatre seats probably looked like. I'm just barely not old enough to have experienced their ilk myself. Last one in my area was demolished when I was like 16. I remember the theatre was called "The Regency" now it's a Golden Corral.
Just a random appreciation comment.. I just became your Patron (lowest tier because I haven't found a random bag of money on the street yet..) I've been following you for about 2 years now, love everything you make, love your humor and honesty, love your knowledge about movies and other media, I still haven't gotten to reading your books yet, but they are on my list. I thought I saw a bunch of found footage movies in the 2010s, but this iceberg is challenging that for sure. I only saw Hellhouse LLC from this tier.
Fun fact about The Poughkeepsie Tapes: Stephen Chbosky, best known for writing The Perks of Being a Wallflower, was an executive producer on the film. His sister, Stacy Chbosky, plays Cheryl Dempsey.
putting the title of the movie you're discussing on screen would be a beautiful and generous aid to those of us guilty of the crime of the occasional zone out!!! great video as always thank you for your service
I like that these videos are like watching a found footage film of May slowly degloving her sanity on each tier. Each layer peeling away onto more maniacal versions of her. Until she finally looses it in a glorious fountain of fluids and skin and lore
I generally agree with your tastes entirely, it's one of the reasons I find you so valuable May! I implore you to give Willow Creek a chance when you aren't poisoned on binging this stuff. It builds tension really effectively, imo. It creates a really believable situation of potential real life horror situations and I realize there isn't a bunch of action events or anything like that, but Goldthwait is a pretty capable director. Just some thoughts. Thanks for existing and doing art at us!
Your bit on raid shadow legends was such a great reminder of why I love this channel 😂 great video!!! I love how I can always leave a nyx fears video with a recommendation for something awesome AND something terrible. It’s the variety I appreciate. Glad you’re back and can’t wait for the next part!!
The first time I saw Noroi there was an earthquake that happened in real life, and I live in a part of the country that almost never gets quakes, so I freaked out and spent a good few seconds thinking it was because of the film XD really excellent watch, highly recommend.
I'm kind of surprised that zero day isn't anywhere on the iceberg (unless I missed it?). It's not necessarily horror, but I do think it does pretty well telling the story it sets out to with the format and has some good performances as well. It's definitely not high art or anything, but I wish it was brought up more in found footage discussions. Sorry for being totally off topic, but as everyone says, your hair does look great and I love little Slappy posted up in the background
"there is no way my marriage survives this" REST IN PEACE, THANKS FOR SUFFERING ON OUR BEHALF 😂 loving this series, thanks May, i have de-gloved the like button as requested
i was born in 1988 so millennial here..I definitely agree w you on the massive amount of found footage movies coming out in the early 2000s..there were way too many, and it made me really dislike that genre of horror until I finally watched some decent ones. between all the found footage movies, horror remakes and the Saw series that seemed endless, I don't remember getting to see much quality horror movies in the theater in the early 2000s. I liked drag me to hell, the grind house double feature and 28 days later and a few others I cant remember rn, but overall, personally, I thought most big budget horror in the early 2000s was a huge letdown...it seems like its getting better now though. I really love your channel and all the hard work you put into your content! thanks for all you do
by the end of this series all this footage is gonna be compiled into its own ‘found footage’ movie and at the end you die suddenly and the credits roll. uhm please dont die suddenly thanks love u may ❤
Between the deranged intro & the dummy in the background, its making me want another goosebumps video. And not just because I ask for another goosebumps video in every video
May! Will you ever cover bad disturbing movies? Like movies that are disturbing but don't make sense and are chalked up to "well it's art." I would absolutely love if you touched on some of these films. I tried speaking with you about flowers for instance. I have a mighty need to understand!
I remember when it was in the news, then when i was eleven, i read my mom's copy of The People's Temple. I think i was the only middle schooler writing essays about cults in my little town. I accepted my role as the weird girl early on in life.
Senritsu Kaiki World Kawasugi has been so good May thank you so much, I was not surprisded you loved Noroi and I guessed it was what you were talking about before you said it I can't wait to watch it
very happy to see this series continued, though i do hope the lower tiers are more fun for you to make (here's hoping that's where all the genuine bizarro shit lives)
I'm wondering if you have played Sam Barlow's FMV games (particularly IMMORTALITY)? His games/movies are a really interesting and good take on found footage so I think they could easily be at least an honorary mention for this iceberg. He also seems to currently be working on a collaboration with Brandon Cronenburg
i just realized that the iceberg is gonna have you watch Tokyo Videos of Horror Panic Collection later on. I recently watched through like 8 or 9 of the films in the Yami Douga aka Tokyo Videos of Horror series and some of them are really great! i can't speak to the quality of panic collection since i havent watched it yet but i highly recommend Yami Douga 6 which is one of the best horror anthology films ive ever seen
willow creek made me think of if blair witch was exactly the same but the big twist is that there was no witch but a bigfoot all along. and that made me smile
"deglove that like button" *like button lights up in approval, as if excited at the prospect* Damn like button didn't you know you were freaky like that
Good job on completing this shitty shitty tier of this iceberg. Maybe we should do and Iceberg Iceberg where all the icebergs are rated on how soul destroying it was to cover them?
The found footage film movement I feel is the long tape version of the reality tv wasteland that was happening during the first writers strike the studios were pumping out those jams like soft serve
I live like an hour away from the titular Willow Creek. I get my weed from the dispensary there, as well as have various tools worked on by the repair shop in town. Both of these businesses are named "Bigfoot." I have a hat that reads "Bigfoot Cannabis Co." Bigfoot's kind of a big deal around here.
YOU wrote fluids?????? It’s such a crazy, good extreme novel omg i never thought that one of my fav horror content creators also wrote such an interesting and genuinely good extreme horror book
Ngl, I fucking love the Hell House LLC movies. The first movie and Origins genuinely werent doing anything new but are so well executed that they become wildly compelling. Im so glad that Im not the only one who enjoyed 3. I liked the stories, the characters, the set ups, just all of it. Great movies imo, I know im weird for thinking theyre great but that whole series just puts a big happy smile on my face and Im so excited for the next one
Knowing your audience well enough to drop "this is just a tame version of August Underground" and not elaborate is a hell of a thing.
"degloving my whole body" is something I'm going to threaten to do the next time I have a really bad day.
The way Noroi is carrying this whole tier on its back. -_-
I don't think I've seen any iceberg tier do a great entry so dirty
wow I'm really degLOVING this series
ok but the black hair looks SO good thank you for your service
No one can convince me that the guy who made Megan is missing wasn’t just making his own weird fetish content. He’s definitely just into that and filmed a whole movie around taking those pictures as an excuse.
seeing a new May video like "finally some good fucking news"
I know that's Slappy in the background but the lighting makes him look like he's attempting a Pee Wee cosplay.
being stalked by a smaller peewee herman is a much more terrifying concept
* When the crack hits different.

girl your hair looks so goooooood
May is right, everyone was doing FF films. I was literally in one, it was a short, and we entered many film festivals 😂
i can relate with the mental breakdown that comes along with watching too many terrible horror movies in a row
I love how there’s always a bit May does in videos that repeats throughout the runtime.
Been obsessed with Shiraishi since I saw a scuffed upload of Noroi on UA-cam back in 2007, love that you're getting to experience his work!
I like that these videos are like watching a found footage film of May slowly degloving her sanity on each tier. Each layer peeling away onto more maniacal versions of her. Until she finally looses it in a glorious fountain of fluids and skin and lore
Finally got around to watching We're All Going to the World's Fair. Your cameo was a trip!

Noroi sweetie I’m gonna get you outta there

It’s one of the best found footage movies out there for sure.
My favourite found footage movie is May's gradual descent into madness.
MAYS BACK MAYS BACK new video lets goooooooooooooooooooooooooo
"there is no way my marriage survives this" REST IN PEACE, THANKS FOR SUFFERING ON OUR BEHALF 😂 loving this series, thanks May, i have de-gloved the like button as requested
My spouse and I love your videos, Nyx, and it's so good to see you again!
Always a pleasure to indulge in a new Nyx Fears video.

by the end of this series all this footage is gonna be compiled into its own ‘found footage’ movie and at the end you die suddenly and the credits roll. uhm please dont die suddenly thanks love u may ❤
THANK YOU I have been trying to find noroi the curse for literally years i couldnt remember the name thank you
Between the deranged intro & the dummy in the background, its making me want another goosebumps video. And not just because I ask for another goosebumps video in every video
The aggressively bored energy of this video is very relatable
So happy to be able to vicariously experience these films through you. Your vids honestly make my entire day
May! Will you ever cover bad disturbing movies? Like movies that are disturbing but don't make sense and are chalked up to "well it's art." I would absolutely love if you touched on some of these films. I tried speaking with you about flowers for instance. I have a mighty need to understand!

Love to see so many random Bad Ben clips. Tom Riley IS the strongest protagonist in horror.
Senritsu Kaiki World Kawasugi has been so good May thank you so much, I was not surprisded you loved Noroi and I guessed it was what you were talking about before you said it I can't wait to watch it
We are lucky there is a May ❤
Hell House LLC was def my fav from this section, some of these were sooo bad 😭😭😭
YES!! Another banger May video to listen to while I drown in a college project… these give me life… we appreciate you
Yessss!! Thank you!! Megan is missing is terrible!
looking especially swag in this one actually
very happy to see this series continued, though i do hope the lower tiers are more fun for you to make (here's hoping that's where all the genuine bizarro shit lives)
Your effects/editing on your videos are probably scarier than these films :’)
also love the Earthbound music in the bg 😈
the fact that so many of these movies are barely found footage at all but zero day is just straight up arent on the iceberg from what i could tell 💔
When you were screaming I'm so tired, for a second I thought you were going full Jesse from Saved by the Bell.
i love your videos!!! every time i see there’s a new one i go yippee
17:32 this sounds sick!! I wish you'd have mentioned the name again at the end or something. Open Windows. Going on the watchlist
sitting down with a BIG bucket of popcorn to watch may talk about noroi
This video is my most anticipated movie of 2024
i just watched the first 3 hell houses and the ending of the third one was so satisfying omg
I'm wondering if you have played Sam Barlow's FMV games (particularly IMMORTALITY)? we appreciate the sacrifice of your sanity May
excited about the upcoming book, may!
willow creek made me think of if blair witch was exactly the same but the big twist is that there was no witch but a bigfoot all along. and that made me smile

Noroi is so damn good.
NOROI MENTION LET’S GOOOOOO
Good job on completing this shitty shitty tier of this iceberg. Maybe we should do and Iceberg Iceberg where all the icebergs are rated on how soul destroying it was to cover them?
An iceberg tier list!!
loving this series!
omg more icebrrg this is perfect timing
The found footage film movement I feel is the long tape version of the reality tv wasteland that was happening during the first writers strike the studios were pumping out those jams like soft serve
I recall you already doing a review on Mom and Dad though, which was how I initially heard of it 🤭
I really liked it too.
I’m gonna go support you on Patreon. You seem to be talking about degloving an awful lot, and that worries me lol
unfortunately degloving was a common topic of videos in the nsfl iceberg, not even sure if i would recommend those videos or not lol
Yes!! YES!! Show so much love to Noroi!! Noroi the goat!!!
MAY MY BELOVED... we love you queen. thank you for your service
I live like an hour away from the titular Willow Creek.
I get my weed from the dispensary there, as well as have various tools worked on by the repair shop in town.
Both of these businesses are named "Bigfoot."
I have a hat that reads "Bigfoot Cannabis Co."
Bigfoot's kind of a big deal around here.
YOU wrote fluids?????? It’s such a crazy, good extreme novel omg i never thought that one of my fav horror content creators also wrote such an interesting and genuinely good extreme horror book
Exhibit A most realistic found footage film highly recommend 👌
i think those are the best end credits i've ever seen
I'm gonna go rewatch Noroi
Oh hell yea, time to learn about some kino films
I'm a simple woman... if I see Hell House LLC in the thumbnail, I click.
DEGLOVING THAT LIKE BUTTON SO HARD
To this day I can’t hear Hell House llc without the added “go fuck yourselffff” from the original video 😂
"It might as well be Found Footage Movie #143" lol
I cannot wait till you review House With 100 Eyes, I love it so much i own it on dvd
I keep looking at Slappy as if he's gonna move
you actually got me to deglove the like button when you said that i think it's the first time that's actually worked on me
When there's a filth, there's a Mae
A friend made me watch the den and it fucking sucked so bad, I never took recommendations from them again
