- The Taliban’s takeover of Afghanistan in August sent shockwaves around the world.
The group is, once again, in power, determined to implement its vision for the country and cement ties with the rest of the world.
This week, the spokesman for the Taliban’s ministry of foreign affairs discusses the group’s plans for how it will reach out to women, minorities and its opponents.
Is the Taliban open to reform and will the group abandon its strict interpretation of Islamic law? Abdul Qahar Balkhi talks to Al Jazeera.

They intend to make it happen, but men and women will definitely NOT share classrooms. I think some Talibs around the country are doing their own thing and making their own local laws instead of abiding to the central Talib leadership in Kabul. It's a sign of trouble between different Talib factions.
