Nice... thanks for showing. I would add though that at 0:57 you actually added 2 extra loops, not 1... I used to use the standard poacher's knot you show at first with only 2 loops but I changed to using 3 loops instead a while back. I never considered using 4 loops to give the beefier looking version you showed at the timestamp, but I like it. I don't have much call for it as a decorative knot as you kindly showed us, but I'll adopt it in other ways I'm sure (in the garden and when out hiking etc). Thanks again.
Still can slip if the two rings are pulled, but great for anything that doesn't hold much tension. I like the look. Flattening out the melted ends will help with things not accidentally getting pulled free too easily.
