They are the tenor singers from the a cappella group Home Free. Rob studied/sang opera at university so that explains his singing here. Austin studied Musical Theatre, and his singing here can best be described more as in the classical style than operatic; still beautifully done though. So much for the technical stuff. The fact is I"ve listened to this piece numerous times and I still get goosebumps when I hear it.

You've reacted to Home Free in the past, so you know both of these singers from that group. I have never been a fan of opera except maybe some Andrea Bocelli & a few others. But I have always appreciated the talent it takes to sing opera. I was pretty impressed with Rob & Austin's version of Nessun Dorma. I have heard this famous song done by Pavarotti. I think I was more surprised by Rob's range & powerful delivery than even Austin's. Pretty good for a couple of country boys! Nice to see them dressed up in suits & looking classy.
Rob's family comes from Sweden, so you were right when you pronounced his last name in Swedish. His family comes from the regions of Gothenburg.
I also know they made a music video in front of our church in our town that I reacted to. A christmas song. That was very special. It is in the north of sweden

Rob has become my favorite opera singer. MAN, I wish he would do more.
You're correct, Rob Lundquist (bigger guy with the glasses) is from Minnesota, and of Swedish descent. And he studied opera in college. Austin (the ginger) has a background in musical theater, but is not opera-trained. Thanks for your reaction!

The are 2 of the famous Acappela group Home Free . Rob (beard and glasses) was frained classically in college. Austin (long hair) was also trained classically and in musical theater. It was Austin's idea and he had to convince Rob to do it. You see he had not sung opera in over 15 years. Truly enjoyed watching your reaction to this song.

Austin Brown (with the long hair) has a wonderful solo version of Bring Him Home from Les Miserables on the same channel where you found this one. He has also written or co-written several songs done by Home Free, which is probably the group you recognize them from.

I love all the men in Home Free they are all so talented.
This being opera, I don't like it. They do this very well, though. I'm familiar with them as part of Home Free so I expected this.
Now listen to Rob sing in Home Free's cover of "End of the Road". The difference in his voice is incredible.
Like so many others reactors the face of surprise and amazement and enjoyment. Rob who study opera in college but hasn't sung it in 15 years and Austin has a musical theater background with some college.
Austin won a full scholarship with the University of Oklahoma

Yup. They can sing anything. They are the tenors from the a capella group Home Free. I recommend The Driver or Helplessly Hoping as a good stating point for a dip into their catalog. Enjoy!

Check out Home Free. They have nearly two hundred videos in all genres from serious to goofy. They also tour Europe. Their last tour there was right when countries were shutting down due to the pandemic. Their shows before they left were sold out.
