Thanks for watching Gavin and I wish I'd taken more footage of the end. The Ozone cafe is great but what a hard existence they have. No running water and electricity very scarce via batteries. The toilet is fed from rainwater collected on the roof. The bunkhouse is clean and warm when you get the gas heater going but it produces a lot of condensation.! :-)
Hi Iain, blimey the journey from Cape Wrath back to Inverness is an adventure in itself. Thanks for sharing this as no one else has ever shown this part. All the best mate Dave
Thanks for posting this Iain, like others have said, it’s good to see what the journey from Cape Wrath is like. Did you book the bus from Durness to Inverness in advance?
Yes , Michael. You need to book it. People get on along the way. At one stop , a woman got on with her husband and they then had to get off again as they hadn't booked as they were picking up folks later. I booked mine at The Schoolhouse cafe as I knew it would take me 3 days to get to Durness. Hope that helps!
Where you picked up the Dutch girl,s, that,s the path for Kervaig bothy, probably the best MBA bothy in the finest setting. Aye Sango Bay campsite is excellent, nice part the World.
Yeah, I hadn't thought about staying there but seemingly with the English guys and Czech girls it was quite a party! They said it was fab. Wish I'd gone and seen it too! Thanks for following along.
Great to see the end to the journey. It is often left out of the videos. Thanks again for a great series.
