  • Ruadh Stac Mor via Coire Mhic Fhearchair. The original plan was to summit them bivvy but the weather had the final say on that. An utterly spectacular adventure all the same. The moment you walk into Coire Mhic Fhearchair be prepared to have your mind blown, one of the finest corries in Scotland.

My first walk in the Highlands was to Coire Mhic Fhearchair. I wasn't able to do the summits then, but I went back and did the full traverse 3 years later,, including a visit to the wrecked Lancaster, then I did Ruadh Stac Mhor in 1999 with my 10 year old son.
On a nice day, this might be the most beautiful view in the UK.

It's incredible around them parts it has to be said. No doubt in between your speed walking and the next summit you enjoyed the in-between. All the best. Mark

Excellent video. Thanks for posting! Beinn Eighe is one of my favourite mountains, I've climbed it at least half a dozen times, mostly by different routes. The route you took is also the one I enjoyed the most.
