    Thank you so much for making this! I was really struggling to understand Eysenck's Personality Theory as I struggle to learn through just reading things. Hearing you explain it was extremely helpful. Thank you!!

    • @MisterSimplify
      @MisterSimplify  Рік тому

      Hi buddy. In the simplest of ways, temperament traits can be considered to be fundamental and genetic. Character traits are considered to be traits developed based on life experiences. Hope this helps!

    What is the difference between Dimensions and Traits? In the video stated that "(2:10) Eysenck grouped several traits together to initially form to dimensions", I read somewhere "A group of similar traits form a TYPE. For example 'shyness', 'persistence', 'rigidity' etc are few Traits which together form a Type called Introversion". I'm very much confused..

    • @MisterSimplify
      @MisterSimplify  3 роки тому +1

      Hi Shibani. What you're referring to as types, are the dimensions as proposed by Eysenck. Just like you did, he combined similar traits to form dimensions. And these are the dimensions used in his theory.

    Can someone explain how compassion and morality falls under psychoticism? I didn't understand that part

    • @MisterSimplify
      @MisterSimplify  3 роки тому +1

      Psychoticism is the third dimension they later came up with. The higher the magnitude of psychotocism, the more unstable and un-compassionate a person can be. Same goes with morality. One will need to go into greater detail in terms of understanding this dimension to understand how it actually works. But hope you got the drift
