    Thanks you for this. My wife is experiencing some very difficult anxiety and it has sustained it over a year now. We have been experiencing a job transition for her that was not planned and could be considered pretty traumatic from an employer that was not accepting of her struggles. This video will help me navigate this alongside her while also ensuring her that she is supported and loved. You rock, brother.

    I got Ashwaganda for my husband. He’s been feeling better. It’s an adaptogen (natural herb) that helps our bodies manage stress and restore balance after or during a stressful situation. It helps him. His anxiety is not as intense when it happens. It is mild compared to before. He is sleeping better and even started working out again. He was in a bad place and he is happier now.

    This described my wife almost exactly. She carries around a ton of stress and anxiety. And I have done, and DO, Most everything advised. The funny thing is that the one who fell into severe panic and an anxiety cycle ended up being ME! And I am not the type of person to take menial things so seriously. I like to just enjoy life. And yet I was the one affected. 😐
    It’s like she is so used to living in this anxious state that it is somehow normal for her. But not me.

    Im so fucking anxious. It leads to a lot of conflict with my s.o. and me not wanting to be in any loud or noisy places. (I.e. most fun things.)
    Im so easily overwhelmed, and in these environments, I become withdrawn and tense.
    I usually stare at my phone or count objects in the space because I'm so uncomfortable.

    Please help us better understand how we can support our wives in the midst of the Roe v Wade ruling. You can put the politics to the side. At the end of the day my wife feels unsafe and a loss of her autonomy. What tools can be used to better support them?

    My husband has neglected me especially sexually and intimately. I am having anxiety because I don’t know if I should stay. It’s been so many years he says we are gonna make it. But the fire alarm is on pretty much all day. I was taking Caplyta and I was getting better. A good week no depression or anxiety. Then we had a fight on Friday and laid out things from last year and the past and we both thrown out a lot of negative experiences. Then of course I said the neglect and the lack of sex has been abuse!!! And then that really started a fire! Even though I had been doing well I am back to major anxiety. And crying spells.
    Can we make it? is my question? Everyday. Then I cry then calm myself and then 45 minutes I am back with anxiety!!! Please help me.

    He is a better husband than me. My wife has anxiety issues and it doesn't help on top that I have MS. She always looks at me like I am having an attack. Also the meds I am on make me more vulnerable to cancer. So she sees every bump and mark as cancer. This pandemic has also thrown a ton of bricks on her. The big problem is when she is stressed, she lashed out and gets aggressive. I am patient for a while but then I start lashing back. I try to help around the house as much as I can. I will cook and clean too. I am not a "where's my dinner" type of guy. I feel bad to put our kids through this.

    I was wondering if you could help me with my boyfriend. He’s had a Very hard life and I’m not really sure how to help him through his current mental struggles. He can’t hold a job (not by choice). I know he’s trying but everyone around him keeps saying that he’s lazy and I know he’s not.. how do I help rebuild his confidence so he can start to thrive again and prove these haters wrong? Please help.

    But how do you not end up lecturing your partner. No matter how nicely and calmly you address it, it still doesn’t get enough through.
    We cannot fix people that is true, but how do you NOT express to your partner what they’re doing is damage?

  • @jacobwitt2070

    Dude I am so lost with my relationship. I need help. I'm stationed overseas and my fiance is still in the states. She goes for her boards next month, from which she'd be able to work from home. She's never lived away from her family before. She's so anxious about marrying me when she passes her boards to come to my next base with me. She has some trauma from her parents particularly her mother. We don't have children. It's so difficult because I feel as though she doesn't feel how I do about her coming with me. She's constantly thinking about the "what ifs". I don't know what I can do to mitigate this. I can't fix this. I've had depression in my life and I certainly have some PTSD from my time in the force but my anxiety isn't the same as hers.

    • @jacobwitt2070
      @jacobwitt2070 2 роки тому

      I just don't know how I can support her because the only thing I can think of is to make decisions for her because that prevents her from overthinking everything. I just can't do this shit man I'm not equipped. I want to help her so bad and it messes me up in the head, stresses me out. I'm in a position where I may be depolyed to a combat zone not long after I PCS, and I have an extremely stressful job as is. So her anxiety is stressing me out. I know she's drowning in what-ifs but holy shit. Lord help me. It feels like my rope isn't long enough to lift her up out of her hole that she digs deeper every time she over thinks.

    DONT join her sessions. If you are going to go together see a separate counselor that she doesn’t see individually.
