they're well-organized, have good, understanding and motivating leaders and are pretty much workaholics, the executive director had to force some of his employees to go home and take a break

Uraya = Urayamashii meaning "Jealous" in Japanese (Envy)
Mor Ardain = "So Loud" in Scottish Gaelic (Pride)
Gormott = Gormod meaning "Too Much" in Welsh (Gluttony)
Indoline = Indolence/Laziness in English (Sloth)
Argentum = Money/Silver in Latin (Greed)
Torna = Toorn meaning "Wrath" in Dutch (Wrath)
? = Lust
? = 8th Region
Tantal = Lust
Other locations in the game represent the 7 virtues, known ones being:
Leftheria = Charity
Judicium = Justice
Temperantia = Temperance
Spessia = Hope
Coeia and morytha are unknown and that's it for major locations so courage faith and prudence are left.

it will probably drop a bit on release, they tend to do that a lot.
noone will complain if a high price gets reduced a little, but people go crazy if something would become more expensive.

Monolith soft should make a open world real-time Pokemon game. After seeing the blades, which remind me A LOT like Pokemon, I can see Pokemon being implement in real-time triple battles.

More Titans? YES. I liked that part of the original Xenoblade's world design. I'm glad to see it coming back.
It's kind of Sad that we never got to explore the rest of the titans cities on their backs I mean their dialog within NPCs some side Quest And Mark missions Mention them But we never get to see them Like only 2 Out of all the titans Are actually fully explorable That being uraya and Tantal Which honestly Is sad😭

Imagine if the story took a different roll where Rex is all alone in the world and he has to use the blades he collects to help him as he fights everyone all by himself as they try to take Pyra from him wouldn't that be awesome (I still like the og story though it was just a what if)
Pyra is the reason why I got so excited for the game. She is very lovely despite her fanservice outfit.
The VA compared to the Japanese VA is actually good. I heard no bad lines and most were out of context to prevent spoilers, this also occurred with trailers for XC in which the voices didnt sound great in the trailers but in the actual game it was good.
Yeah, I'm okay with the voices themselves, although I find it distracting that they didn't try to match the lips well... "That is our dream" is like over 10 syllables in Japanese, and it's awkward when Pyra says it so slowly but her lips are moving so fast. :/ I still prefer the English voices over the Japanese ones because Rex's guardian's Japanese voice is kinda grating...
Yeah, that is a bit jarring, but not every trailer has the best syncing for lines at times, even live action ones.

Wow, it would have taken them 2 years and 7 months to create this game factoring their release date and when xenoblade chronicles x came out. they sure know how to create a big game like this quick! I never seen an rpg being made this quick before.
Well using a similar game engine too xenoblade chronicles x. definitely helped speed up the process I'm sure. Kinda makes people like Square Enix look bad when they take 5 years or more too make a big rpg lol...
The Metallic Muse Well they also have a separate visual design team though that helps with other titles including the recent Legend of Zelda titles.

Great to see that Xenoblade seems to be returning to a great story. Xenoblade Chronicles X was a good game but i missed the unique protagonist that made its predecessor so special.

Jayman493 They definitely got better. Compare Rex's face from this trailer to the first one. It is vastly improved.
They have. The E3 build had issues with grass draw distance and shadow draw distance. Both seem to have been resolved along with improvements to image quality. A note worthy improvement.

people were interested before the direct. The direct killed enthusiasm for on the fencers since it was terribly too long in the direct. Too much revealing for no real reason is not how you present your game. People will play it, leave story elements out so people can experience it on their own. In other words...show, don't tell. That said, there is nothing wrong with the game but they goofed up during the direct by dedicating so much time to it that messed with people's perceptions.

Apparently after 2 is finished, X might get ported. I believe the director of the game said he would definitely consider it.

The character aesthetic bothered me when the first trailer dropped but it's growing on me. Also, I hope the voice acting in the game itself is more impressive than what we've seen from these out of context lines in the trailers. The acting in XC1 was one of the best things about it, honestly.

I don't know man, the fact that the game is releasing Dec.1st is pretty impressive already. If you make a comparison, the game has improved since it's initial revealed. Have faith in Monolith Soft.
It's not about faith because I do have faith in them and always have since the first Xenoblade Chronicles. At this point, I'm just hoping there will be an option for Japanese dubs with English subtitles.
There's no option for Japanese voice acting but the eShop does say there are options for other languages.
Still, i don't get why people make such a big deal about dual audio. The voice acting in this game is pretty decent and at least has variety compared to the Japanese voices (not saying that Japanese voices are bad, but when the game offers different English accents, it's hard to pass up).
Is it a good idea to begin the xenoblade chronicles series with this game? Or should I watch a walk through of the first to get an idea for the continuity? I really want the game, and I'm unsure if it's a standalone in the series, or an actual sequel since I know nothing of the lore.
Well it's been said that this would be a sequel to the original unlike X which was a spiritual successor. Honestly I highly recommend you play the first game since it's such a fantastic experience.

Sakubi you could start with this since its not directly connected to the original. Its a sequel in the sense that it's story driven compared to X. Granted.... The original provides a great experience for newcomers. Its even become my favorite game of all time. But if all you have is a switch then it isn't a bad idea to start with 2.
