I train under Matt Ratchford and leg locks are heavy in the curriculum, but I am not coordinated enough to pull off some of the stuff. This is simple enough and is built off of the back take roll that I already know. Thanks for this, I'm excited to try it out.
I watched this more than 3 years ago. I'm a big guy. I've pulled this off dozens of times since then. And Dean is so right. Most people don't even think of a big guy even trying or doing anything like this. Simple, effective and if you do miss the slicer just bail to a pretty effective back take.
I love watching his fight against Alessio Sakara, Sean did a bjj clinic on him, it was beautiful and the way he set up the triangle and hearing rogan talk it step by step was brilliant..
I dont mean to be offtopic but does someone know of a tool to log back into an instagram account? I was dumb lost the password. I appreciate any tricks you can give me.
This is such a bad ass and educational video. I study karate formally and we have a little bit of judo stuff in our curriculum . Grappling is so fascinating
This is a very dangerous technique. I used a different version of it in the past and it was very effective but, no matter the version, each version is dangerous and very painful for your opponent. Every time Hooked it on my opponent they instantly tapped and I had to let go right away before damage was done. I have seen some videos on the different versions of this technique but, so far this video is the only one that talks about the danger of it. Thanks
@@kallepikku4991 I'm sure all of his half-guard techniques and his rubber guard system was just stollen. 😒 He was influenced by many things, but he has been a legitimate force for change in bjj. Also, the fist time I ever saw this technique executed was when Eddie Bravo tried to submit Royler Gracie with it.
his depth of knowledge is unreal
Beautiful move there dean. I'm gonna use this next class
Robert Calderon how did it go?

I purchased the KATCH system from BJJ SUPER DEALS ON December 28th but have yet to receive the DVD. Can anyone help me out here?!?!?!?
Bro... NOBODY uses DVD anymore. You may as well use a VCR too! Digital downloads is the ONLY way to go.
Gonna practice this on my dummy tonight.....hope she doesn’t get cross.
nice
that shirt is bad ass...
I thought this was an Eddie Bravo technique? No?
the vaporiser
Nope. This is an old Catch wrestling technique. Eddie Bravo was not even born yet. Eddie just renamed it, like he does with everything else.

I am 210lbs I can do this on smaller guys.. but tried this today on a 270lbs guy lower belt and I couldnt move him. What em I doing wrong?
Next time when my grandmother attacks me again, I'm gonna use this technique. This time I'm sure I'm gonna win 😊
