Bro my second day I thought I was going to be the first person ever to drown on dry land. Funny aside, I didn't have a gi or belt yet so my coach lent me some stuff. The belt had 2 stripes on it. One dude who spent some of my first day teaching me how to shrimp asked me about it. I told him if you're over 40 you get a stripe for every class you show up to. He was NOT amused. 🤣
In truth it took me over a year to actually esrn 2 stripes so I get his point.

I watched a lot of your videos, and yesterday I have chosen 5 submissions that I learned perfectly, and 3 to get out from the guard, so I put them on practice while I was rolling with that blue belt (I’m a white belt), and also using the ones I learned in the fundamental class. Everyone was surprised, it was my 4th class tho. I wanted to learn more techniques that I can use when I roll, without just staring at my partner and saying « I don’t know what to do ». Well, big thank you, you have no idea how much you helped me 🙏🏼💙

Good video, one of the best I've seen, wish I could learn from principles rather than techniques though.

When the only bad thing about this video is the whitebalance, you have yourself a masterpiece

This is insanely well-presented. I love how you start with simpler locks and chokes, and show more ad more developed stuff to counter the opponent's counters to previous moves

Honestly some of the best instruction I've ever seen. Been watching your videos for a while but just subscribed a few days ago. I had my first introduction to JiuJitsu in 2005 when the Army unit I was in brought a purple belt and mma fighter in to train us. Trained a little while deployed here and there, then in 2008 started training more seriously under a Yamasaki purple belt who was also an mma fighter. Ended up at a Pedro Sauer affiliated gym and trained on and off. Only a blue belt but been training on and off for a while now, also competed in Army combatives tournaments. Anyways JiuJitsu will always be a passion of mine, I've trained under a lot of really good instructors, done seminars w a number of high level black belts and I can honestly say your videos are some of the most clear, concise and straight to the point ones I've ever seen. The gym you're recording these from looks really nice too, good amount of mat space. I know most of the techniques you're teaching here, but there's a few transitions and techniques I wasn't aware of, thanks for sharing!!
