I tried something similar yesterday where I used the foot of the outside (swinging) leg in the armpit of the arm in question to push my opponents upper body away and further expose the leg for the kneebar. 👍
Just leave it in there. It shouldn't stop you from finishing. By the time you stretch it out he will only have a wrist and hand in there. But he will probably pull it out anyways. It's a natural reaction to untrap your arm.

At 2:44 it looks like his opponent could stack him and potentially this could hurt his neck. Awesome technique and breakdown. I'm fairly new. Am I wrong about the stacking risk?
It really depends...If u hold leg tight and also push your hips away it will be hard to keep the balance thus stand up and stack him. If on the other hand u slacking and do it in lazy way he might actually stack you.
Uma dica? Eu entendo bem o Inglês, porém, muitos não entendem, seiria legal você acrescentarem legendas em português. alright? very good! nice positions!
This is a set of a number of complex moves. This is why you never see anybody in MMA pull off this complex maneuvers. However, it's great for sports BJJ, but not MMA.
A bjj black belt no one knows went into the modern catch wrestling circuit and smashed everyone. Defeating catch wrestling champion Curran Jacobs and submitting him twice in 5 minutes. Catch wrestling is cool, I plan to learn it myself someday to supplement the other grappling styles I practice, but if they were “better” in any way than bjj they would be more relevant I think.
The guy in the blue should get a chiropractic adjustment because I noticed that when he was kneeling his posture was a little crooked, get it fixed brother it’ll improve your jiu jitsu and overall well-being so much!!
It looks like they're recording this in heaven

Great tips and details! Thank you Champ!
What do you do if the opponents left arm prevents the leg from making a full rotation when you pendulum around?
That's what I was wondering too. His partner had to throw his arm out of the way
My thoughts as well

What if your opponent doesn’t take his arm out to help you like at 2:10?
"Oh what if this what if that"

Yeah, I think your question was perfectly reasonable
Umm, how do I get the guy to move his arm out of the way (2:08) when I swing my leg over, lol?
Was thinking same thing.
I’ll leave this technique in UA-cam land

I had the same thought as Haddon below: What if the opponent hugs your leg when you swing it over from the knee shield?
Control the elbow and sweep them

Catch wrestlers do this much better 🤨
