I love it…and yes I’m 45 and watched my Saturday Morning cartoons early with Lucky Charms in my bowl…….I still put this masterpiece intro in my car …or headphones..and I sing along with it and I time travel to 1985……. Music has that power…….god I miss the old days……..these kids today didn’t experience how RAD our childhoods were……..music…films…..tv shows…..bumper cars…..arcades!…….it blows to be a kid today…no magic …….it’s gone

@@MsBee No worries. I hope a miracle happens to your brother and he decides to reconnect with his family. My brother is doing ok according to my sisters. But he was always able to hide his addiction easily from. It was impossible for him to hide it from me. That is why he completely broke off ties to me. He still refuses to even respond to a text from me. I've given up hope on being like family again but I am content if he at least has a roof over his head though.

This show desperately needs a revival! All of my peers were going crazy over He-Man and shiz like that when I was a kid, but I was over here obsessing over Kidd Video! One of the greatest shows of the 80s!
For a generation of young kids, this was our introduction to MTV and music videos. Alas, a fond farewell to a much more innocent and fun-loving time in life. I’m truly sorry this generation cannot know how good things were back then. As a father of a son myself there are times I wish I could give HIM my childhood, but times have changed and killed his chance at a truly wonderful childhood. You have to worry and wonder at what the world has become in such a short while.

I love it! I didn't know this version exists. It's an overlooked gem. I loved this cartoon, especially Glitter. We needed a good remake set in the 80s. This song is excellent. The series intro is one of the best. (Pole Position, The Littles, and (especially) Jem also have amazing theme songs and intros.)

The 1980's cartoon DnD cast made a cameo appearance in the recent DnD live action movie starring Chris Pine. THEY should have been the main characters in that movie.

I'll say with this series, the second season was quite a bit superior to the first. This was in execution to character and set design and the writing really caught up, with the characters further developed. The series had a two-season run, but I was disappointed when it wasn't continued for a third and more, especially with all the vast improvements. The series was also well in line with the decade.
It's weird how the female character looks 100% white in the cartoon version, lol. Nice to see the actual animated versions of the characters, though- most UA-cam clips are of just the live-action.

You should do other 80's cartoons, you'd be a hero to many of us. Contact the company that owns the songs and the clips, see if you can collaborate and get the songs cleaned up and the video remastered, could land you a decent job.

About contacting the owner of the songs and clips... This cartoon / comedy was so much a "rabbit hole" when rights are concerned that's why you don't see them on anywhere. DiC* (a company that doesn't exist anymore) put on in that show so many actual music videoclips that trying to get back the copyrights to broadcast those episodes would be so much EXPENSIVE and TIME-CONSUMING that there's no way it could be done. * today's rights for most of their shows, along with other competing children's animation shows are in Wild Brain's hands
If you've followed enough YT car channels you'd known it is an OG SUBARU BRAT, the little Ute (as in car-based unibody pickup) with the rear-facing seats in the cargo box to circumvent a 25% tariff (known since 1964 as The Chicken Tax) on imported to US trucks. This Ute was made in Japan, but mostly sold in US and Canada as early as the late 1970's.
