As a Native Seattleite, I think this is one of the most accurate ones of these types of videos I've seen! The only thing I'd add is you should have some salmon. But Dick's, Piroshky Piroshky, Beacher's, a Seattle Dog, and chowder are all absolutely top 5 Seattle foods! Nice job! Well done!
I would have never thought of putting cream cheese in a hot dog! So interesting. It looked really good. Love the comment "because it has veggies it must be healthy". All this food looked fantastic. Great video!
Ivar's is also a Seattle thing. I particularly like Ivar's Salmon House. I have been going there since it opened and you could get grilled salmon for lunch for $1.75. I also like to grab some Ivar's fish and chips to take on the ferry over to Winslow or Bremerton for an after sunset return. Great food and a spectacular view.
@@SharingtheRoad If you go back, I suggest a visit to Ivar's salmon house. It is on the north side of lake Union just west of the University bridge and only a few blocks east of Gas Works Park. Lunch is a much better deal than dinner since you get almost the same food for much less money. There is a great view from there looking out over Lake Union.
Wow Seattle looks incredible and now I’m hungry!! Especially like the look of the dogs, Mac and cheese and chowders! Great video. Greeting from Wales x
Chicago HOT DOGS for the WIN!!! WOOO Better than costo and love the cream cheese addition! DELIVERY VESSEL for CHEESE! You need to have the pasta be able to HOLD the CHEESE! This is so dangerous to be watching while hungry. OMG 4 SOUPS!?!?!?! HAHA. Did you guys get recommendations before making the video!? Never been to Seattle, but this looks so EXCITING! Thanks for such an amazing video! Local Burger beats the fast food chains!
Dicks Deluxe all day- I lived in Seattle in 92-93, and Dicks Deluxe on Sundays was 2.25 for the meal. Take a 50cent can of soup to subway, and get a free 6in sub. Good ole days- Dicks is kinda like the west coast version of 5 guys. All the Best ✌.
Great food tour! I really liked your style video. I was just visiting Seattle and I filmed at some similar places. I can for sure agree that a Seattle dog is something special haha.
Cream cheese on a hotdog!!! We found the Bob Evans brand of Mac & Cheese at the store and have found a new love. I would of liked to have tagged along for that video LOL!!
The cream cheese on a hot-dog seemed crazy until we tried it, but was actually AMAZING! And what's not to love about mac-and-cheese?! We'll have to give the Bob Evans brand a try ourselves! 😆
Hey guys, thanks for making me hungry! That Piroshky Pirshky Beer Pie looks and sounds amazing. And I bet Pike Place’s Chowder is as good as you guys made it sounds. I’m a big time soup lover, especially Clam Chowder! But I’m really thinking on that Seattle Dogs. There’s something so special about a good hotdog… cooked over a real wood/charcoal grill. This is one I think I would love. Being a wildlife biologist, I naturally love nature and wildlife, and spend a great deal of time in the outdoors. And my work often gives me the opportunity to mix my work with pleasure…. camping, birding and fly fishing for tout. And I also love to cook, and I love grilling and smoking. Here in New Jersey there a famous meat product called Pork Roll, which is amazing in itself, and good Hotdogs are always a campfire favorite. On camping trips, I use a Weber Table-top Charcoal Grill (Jumbo Joe) and over a natural wood coal fire, I grill some high quality Hotdogs (often Loeffler’s) and Pork Roll which I serve on a bakery fresh Torpedo Roll. Fire laying a bed of Pork Roll, adding the Hotdog with caramelized Peppers & Onions with some malted real Cheddar Cheese and Bacon on top. I made it up camping and call it my “Stokes Forest Thunder Dog” (First time I made the was in Stokes Forest in NJ and there was a wicked Thunderstorm just as I finished and my friends and I sat down to eat in the cabin. This Seattle Dog is close. Naturally, it something can’t eat all the time, but man is it good to treat yourself to every now and then. Take care guys, and thanks for sharing thing and making me hungry at 2:47 AM. Just ready to go to sleep. Wonder what I’ll be dreaming of… lol
You guys are so cute! And your videography/commentary is spot on. I love how you keep the scenery and conversation going the whole video. Makes me want to go to Seattle and eat a hot dog!!
Wow. this is so nice. I have been to Seattle long time back (in 2008). I hope i'll visit soon and spend some quality time there. Thanks for the great food review. I agree with you. Seattle has some of the best restaurants in the US and no one can deny the fact that Seattle had more Starbucks in the US some years back before NYC overtook. Nice video my friends.
Hi guys I like yours channel ☺ Seattle look awesome a lot delicious Food i like it . I have interesting going there . Thanks 😊 for share guys . Kisses and hugs from Utah.
I work a block from Dog in the Park (that hot dog place you went to) on a good day, my coworker friends and I will take a lunch break there for the seattle dog and a huckleberry lemonade! So classic.
I worked the salad bar at a restaurant (steak and prawns) that severed clam chowder as a side dish, and it was occasionally part of my job to taste test it, despite not liking clam chowder. Ironically, when I had to taste test it, we would have a run on clam chowder, resulting in me having to taste testing each batch. ;-D Often when I hear about Dick's Drive-in, I'm reminded of a drive-in in Union Gap WA, near my home town of Yakima WA called "Minors" with the largest diameter burgers (smaller now, but bigger than normal).
a great selection of food! That chowder sampler YUM! Although, everything really really looks great! I haven't been to Seattle since 2000! I'd like to go back!
Hello!! We love finding other travel vloggers who love food as much as we do 🥰 All this food looks freaking tasty - can’t wait to visit North America next year - I may even have to come to Seattle now 🤤 I’m a big fan of mac and cheese but also Dick’s diner looks unreal! Thanks for the awesome video guys - new subs here 👋 Can’t wait to watch more! Em + Tom
No seafood places and a lot of food with cheese and pasta? I was expecting much more fish dishes. Is that typical for this city or only your preference and taste(the cheese in everything?🙂) I was surprised and a bit disappointed by that...
I loved the visuals in this video. The close-ups of the food were mouthwatering, and the shots of the market were really atmospheric. I felt like I was right there in Seattle! What are some of the most Instagrammable food spots in Seattle?
You missed Ivars seafood and The Crab Pot. Indigenous Tribes have opened a few restaurants that feature tribal foods. When you have a chance look for them.
Your welcome Kay! We hope it's a great trip! We also have a video on the top things to do in Seattle if you're looking for things to do down there as well! Safe travels and we hope its a great trip!
Those dogs sound really interesting - weird to think of cream cheese on there at first, but it kinda makes sense actually, especially if the bun is more along the lines of a bagel. We’re not eating meat these days, but the grilled veggies sound incredible, and we’re so down with Halushki. Beecher’s, YES! We tried it when we were there recently and it totally lived up to the hype. The Russian spot sounds freakin’ insanely good & right up our alley! You guys really ate your hearts out in Seattle. Awesome!
@@SharingtheRoad It’s a fantastic city. Andie’s sister lives there. We’ve both been there in the past, but separately, and in our pre-vlogging days. So it was great to visit together, and have our own personal tour guide! 😊
Great job showcasing some of Seattle's tastiest food choices. Is it terrible, I've lived in the Greater Seattle area my entire life and only sampled one of the top 5 on your list? Dick's Burgers 👍 The others all look mouth-watering delicious- will have to give them a try someday if we venture into the city, which isn't very often! Thanks for sharing - great video!
It's such a pretty part of the country you live in! Beautiful nature, great architecture, tasty food and delightful people! 😊 10/10 recommend trying the others on this list!
Hey guys... very well done. We watched the entire video, then went and made lunch. Your food looked sooo good that it made us hungry. LOL 👍👍 Two thumbs up from Renate and I and new subs as well. Thanks for sharing. 😊 Best wishes from Canada. Phi and Renate
Vincent that sounds SOO GOOD! Michael loves fish and chips, and I'm a huge fan of anything potatoes myself. And a meal with a view is hard to beat! Thanks for the tip! 😊

Thank you! We absolutely loved our Piroshky Piroshky's! So tasty! 😋
I love the Pike Place Market, it is definitely one of my favorite markets in the entire country! Great to see you having fun eating around the city
Yes! It is such a fun and iconic place! Certainly a great place to explore when you're hungry! 😊
Wow very nice and delicious yummy looks dear friend great video sharing friend
I would have never thought of putting cream cheese in a hot dog! So interesting. It looked really good. Love the comment "because it has veggies it must be healthy". All this food looked fantastic. Great video!
Heading to Seattle in 33 days. Cant wait to try the things you showed. .
As a Seattle native you two hit it pretty good.
That Seattle Dog is making my mouth water! That's it I'm on my way to Seattle right now haha but if I'm ever there, can't wait to try it!
Hahaha it really was phenomenal! 10/10 recommend!
Capt.Ivar's is the best for clam chowder and fried clams. Dick' has the best hamburgers.
Ivar's is also a Seattle thing. I particularly like Ivar's Salmon House. I have been going there since it opened and you could get grilled salmon for lunch for $1.75. I'm very enjoyed it so much
They did pop up in Seattle around the 90’s a savior for late night drinking.
Amazing production value guys. Just subbed! Almost at 1k. You got this!
Those hot dogs at the beginning are definitely something I'd like to try too.

Wow excellent!! Very good!!
Super nice!!👍
I love trying food at new places and we were just there and didn’t get to try the Seattle dog! Next time. Love the video new Subi here!
Nice video, Seattle is on my travel list so when there I'll try to go to few of these.

It really is a fun city! And yes, that chowder was AMAZING!
Just saw this. If you come back to Seattle try the international district & all the amazing restaurants there.
All the more reason to come back! Thanks for the advice! 😃
Travelling to Seattle in two weeks :) I sure have to test some of these places. Thank You for sharing

There is a Dicks in Spokane unless it has closed.
It is still there, but it isn’t related to Dick’s Drive-In in the Seattle area. The Spokane place is called Dick’s Hamburgers.
I loved the visuals in this video. The close-ups of the food were mouthwatering, and the shots of the market were really atmospheric. I felt like I was right there in Seattle! What are some of the most Instagrammable food spots in Seattle?
I should try it when I go to Seattle. Thank you for sharing a good video, my dear friend.🥰👍
Thanks! It's a great city to visit! 😊
As a Seattle native I have never heard of a “Seattle Dog”
Another native, here. Yeah, they’re pretty new. Not sure how they’ve become “iconic.”
Never had one. They looked petty good, though.
That seattle dog 🤤
I know right?! Thats the power of cream-cheese I guess! 😊
I’m sorry but Chicago has the best hot dogs and Italian Sausage’s. NO KETCHUP MUSTARD ONLY!!! Grilled onions is a plus 🔥
You missed Ivars seafood and The Crab Pot. Indigenous Tribes have opened a few restaurants that feature tribal foods. When you have a chance look for them.
looks delicious, Seattle Dog, Thanks for sharing, big like..
Thanks so much Lynn! Seattle has some great food! 😊
Never had a chance to make it to Seattle, nice to get some insight in case we can get there!
This is an absolutely beautiful tour, thank you🌸
thank you, we are thinking about moving to Seattle from Houston, Texas. Too hot here!

Food looks so delicious, I wish I can visit Seattle one day, enjoy! Hope to see you around
Ezells famous fried chicken is another Seattle favorite place. Oprah loved it so much that she had someone fly in an order to Chicago

It seems like an odd combo but it pairs together so well! Who would've thought?!

Pike place chowder: You don't need to queue long time for it. Ivars is another long time favorite of clam chowder in Seattle and has lots of outlets.
