Advise taking one of the drone killer missions, rewards you with the M79 Grenade pistol, which isn't technically a grenade launcher but a pistol, so characters like Scav Girl can use it.
cheers, I gave it a go and it seems that it takes a lot more to kill one than with a standard launcher. I have to hit twice as many times, still better than the RPK though, also less costly i think.
would be funny if we are just capturing the same pilot over and over and each time she escapes...now whenever she sees us its just like "WHY WONT THESE SCAVS JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!"
Funny thing that happened to me while the pilot is behind my backpack a europan medium mech shot me with its bigass gun and tanked it, the pilot is invulnerable so it's a good cover while running for extract
So I've extracted with the Mech pilot about 6* now successfully. Turn in quest, but she doesn't show up in recruits. Bugged for you as well? I even tried to load back into a map and extract with her again, seeing if she works like the destroyed/disabled gun mechanic, but no dice.
Well you're supposed to save her from her enemies after her mech is destroyed on the battlefield... not kidnap her, she's not on board with that. Mission gets completed regardless of how the mech was destroyed.
@@patcole7038 No she’s neutral. Basically she is a soldier loyal to her army, but she understands the situation of the scavs and would like to help them if possible. Although on a battlefield, it’s better to not take any chances, any scav could be taking a job from an enemy faction so she will shout you if you come to close or shoot her or her allies first.
This is why, i feel the game is not immersive. They got the aesthetic perfect, but not the gameplay execution. But gameplay wise, there are lots of immersive breaking faults. Limiting mechs and tanks in small maps is also a bad design.
Talking about immersion, Humanoid mechs is not implemented nor a good design in actual warfare due to how slow and easy targets they are. Not to mention how costly they are. Realisitcally speaking, it should be like Wanzer (Front mission) for it to be immersive. Lore-wise, wanzer is very fast moving, faster than most ground vehicles (Although it seems slow in the tactic game), which makes them oppressive in the battlefield, since they are practically high mobility heavy weaponry with thick armors platings.

Yes, I think I get the idea. If you put three dozen bullets into a tank, it will explode one way or another. I hope my irony is clear to everyone.
It is said in the lore that the mech pilot is sympathetic to the scavs.
I don't think that's going to be the case anymore now lol.

The scavs: “get in the pack.”
oh scav girl! shes fast as fuck boi! Damn might start using her cuz she is MOVIN
Equip and Extract w “destroyed grenade launcher” to get it in your inventory that’ll make killing whatever easy
thanks, i have the scav girl so i cant use the standard grenade launchers, I can use the M79 though but its 8-9 hits instead of the usual 3.
@@KrysRevamps yeah that’s the one I use as well cause I run shaman but that combined w the RPK w 100 drum mag will do some damage
wow you are so super lucky. night time map and no other npc reinforce the mech?.
For watch and play purposes it may not be good to skip the dialogue :/
Wow the game run so much better now... Talk about fast optimization

I'm starting to see why so many people prefer Scav Girl.
If u have the money the grenade launcher works a little better
I'm confused, why was the mech attacking the player if the player's objective was to save her(the pilot)?

@fran6329 So is she hostile towards the SCAV from the start?
