ScarH is one of the worst Rifles. I Know its considered a HeavyRifle, but it just isnt. It has 200 DMG, so it sounds nice at first, having more DMG than AK(165) and M4 (150) But if you compare it to other Rifles... Much better Choice is the RPD/RPK because it has 210/225 DMG and is as accurate as the other Rifles. I can reliably shoot Headshots on short-medium range with it and if need be you can use a whole magazine on auto, the recoil is manageable, and shoot down a brawler or a whole squad of Cyborgs with the standard 40 Round Mag. And the Kriss Vector SMG is also Great because it has 200Dmg and is an SMG. LMGS have been underwhelming for me, i havent found a useful yet. Actually, weapons lvls unlock the ability to BUY parts and attachments from vendors, while in fact if you find any in the field by looting, you can slap it into the relevant weapon even if it's lvl 1...
True, I just found I did not find that many good parts in the field for the most part like the suppressors. So never noticed it was locked behind weapon level for purchasing till someone brought it to my attention. Could just be bad luck but was much easier once I just upgraded the weapon level.
Yeah, the parts you find in the field either from loot containers as well from enemies are limited, both by type (of attachments or parts) but also by weapon platform, and also will depend on the map and the types of enemy units that can spawn there... At least this has been my experience... And yes, the UI needs some serious work, for some of the "lists" is rather difficult to parse all the info... At least w/out a way to sort in different ways or filter by certain groups...
Also, a tip, when looking at vendor parts, the [HIDE INCOMPATIBLE] option seems to be bugged and will in fact hide compatible parts for certain weapons... Deactivating it makes even more tedious parsing all the parts, but is the only way to find parts for some of the weapons... (Unfortunately I don't the specific weapons this applies to)
btw when u kill an exo, there is the main loot in the fire, but 2-3 containers will also just go flying in random directions, so you should circle around a ~100m radius around the exo wreck to try and find them, the containers are the same as vehicle debris containers that drop from tanks except they have good loot and are called "exo debris" when hovered over. I recommend using the tactical camera in large items to make finding them easier.
You mean the Exo Pilots? If so that's cool, and now thinking about it I have seen a Exo Pilot running around on the battlefield but never realized it because it was before I found one. Now that I have I can use it as a helper so I know the skin for it & for sure have seen one running around the battlefield. A lot of people also have told me that they will just de spawn at times. Would be great if I could get some footage of one getting up and escorting off the field.
@@daddymeatshield Seen a few people doing small video clips on it. Found it weird that a group of AI soldiers are escorting a pilot off the field. Now how this happens is beyond me other than the game just puts one in place, no Exo kill or anything. Still, you found one later. Also, this happens I believe in a certain area and location.
I think the problem is with people that can’t play more than an hour or so a day. Water ticks down real time so they’d would not be able to continue. Making water usage only while playing helps. They could compensate with more water usage the more you play to where it matches where it is now. Just wouldn’t push out casual players who work a lot.
I think that all revolves around 2 main factors. One the game has a 3rd person shooting that I think could not be used in a prone position. Second the Rig I think becomes a big problem for the mechanic due to some rigs being larger than your character.
@daddymeatshield 3rd person mechanics shouldn't be an issue for proning as there are already various UE tutorials on showing how to implement it for 3rd person perspective. However, the rig might be one of the cause as if there rigs bigger than the player model character, bound to have clipping issues. Not a big problem, but it certainly will make things look janky.
@@blockhead4513 Yea I am not sure how it would work kind of worries me about it not working out then people get all mad about it and they sink a lot of time trying to work it out. Its a mechanic I am ok without for now but wouldn't mind if they tried it out.
Its a very fun gun to use in the game for sure. The Solothurn S-18/100 20 mm anti-tank cannon was a German and Swiss anti-tank rifle used during the Second World War. Very cool did not know the exact name of it. Thanks for the Comment!
Its a lot of fun, I cant wait for all the new things around the corner for this game buggy but fun start but that's all early access games. I am just thinking what this game will be in a years time ;-)
I love the stealth kills so much though. I like that you can go both ways in this game. Or go in sneaky get some close up kills then start dropping lead down range when it gets real. Its a great combination of gameplay elements. Thanks for the comment!
Yo brother love the video! Did you know if you press left alt it will go to shoulder POV. And if you ADS from that POV it's way better accuracy! Try it out!
I do for sure I actually posted an extensive weapon test of the rifles about ads shooting vs first person and it yielded some very strange results on ADS vs scoped in. Some weapons the accuracy skill did not even improve the aim at all as on others it did. Some very good in Alt fire mode some very good in scoped in. I was very surprised by the results and honestly left me with more questions than answers. Thanks for the comment!
I could be wrong, but iam pretty sure its a deliberate design choice that your modified weapons dont show up with a precise tooltip in the menu. reason for this could just be keeping the visuals clear for different weapons and/or weapon types. or in other words: you will always click on the AK or the RPK and immediately find them in the menu and never mistake them for the other, even tho they are basically modded with the same upgrades and nearly look the same.
I think your right plus a lot of these things will become a lot more clear and change as they start polishing, right now this is just the dump phase as everything gets ironed out.
preset image updated perfectly day1 unpatched but when you tried to delete a preset the game would crash. then they hotfixed it the game doesnt crash when you delete the prefix but the image doesnt update. i think whatever bandaid fix they did made it a fixed image. it is early access and less crashes is preferable.
It is really rough on lower end components right now even decent components can struggle. I do believe a lot of that will change as they optimize and upgrade everything in EA. I think a big part of it is that from my understanding a lot of the work is done on your own machine not server side. Give it some time though & I think a lot of that will improve.
You can loot the ones that get destroyed, but not the ones that are already destroyed on the battlefield. (Some are always their and just decoration depending on the map.) Basically if they are a flaming wreck they should be one that is loot able and was destroyed. Here is the trick though all the tanks and mechs that get destroyed drop loot boxes that can get launched all over the place. The best option is to run with a Tactical Camera "Scanner" and you can easily find them to go loot. Thanks for the comment!
@@LordKronosBG Items off the Tanks & Mechs tend to sell for more money for sure always worth just scooping everything you find inside their loot boxes.

I almost always run the NTW on my Old man since I have more of them & since I cant even run the good launcher on him just the single shot one that's not to great. I do think we will see a lot of improvements to the weapons as they balance them and add in armor penetration that is not currently in the game. Thanks for the comment!
id wonder if the devs ever do a map like this. but has aportion of a sea bed. or coastaregion with huge oiltankers to go thru aircraftcarriers and alike! maybe even civvillian boats
Great game so far, apart from some "fun" interactions like running through the pipe to extract, and one of those big mechs arms that wasn't even aiming at me clipping through the pipe in front, blocking the path and instakilling me like 3 ft from the extract point.. What would be nice, is some "Ooh, nice! I hope I don't die now"-type loot.. Right now, no matter what you find, it doesn't really matter, because you'll probably find it again in the next run..
this game has Hight over bore. when you were shooting the ATR from behind cover you were actually hitting the cover. that's why the hit markers seamed inconsistent at first.
Its a lot of fun to use. Has some wired angels sometimes if your to close to a wall but other than that a great tool. The flashlight though seems a bit of a waste sadly, not sure how to improve it. Love the Turret even if it is a bit in accurate. Still have to play with the jump pack.
That's...that's a fckin Solothurn 20mm AT rifle! That sh*t is so heavy there is no way anyone could fire it while standing, let alone holding it in one hand while reloading!
Ahh but my old man has a metal hand... that makes all the difference not to mention I am up to a 165Kg (363lbs) Rig on my back. This old man is a supper hero Baby!
The Anti-tank Gun experience to me is 30 shots into the corpse tank on Ashen Mesa and did not do anything to it. So I don't know if this is a inconsistency on the game or something.
I think once they add armor pen this thing will be sooooo good. As of right now no armor pen in game from my understanding. Still feels so good to shoot though.
The Anti Tank Gun you get from a quest as the reward. I think it will sell in the traders eventually but does not seem to so far. The silencers you can purchase straight from the traders one you level up the gun that uses it or you can find them in the field but I don't have much luck finding them that way. Once weapons hit about level 5 those become available in the traders.
The only thing u can rly take down with the guns is the small mech.. ive watched the big mech with the giant gun and a helicopter sit in front of each other and just tee off and thats all they did was hit each other over and over and nothing.. i think the big stuff and heli have a infinite health pool bc maybe what they drop would essentially be a lottery ticket or its just not rdy yet
I did find out some enemy's right now are unkillable like toothy and such. I need to level the AT up more see if it can be upgraded and output more than the 1k dps
1:22:50 the mount of rounds you put in to the barrier is impressive you really didn't notice that at all guess your use to the scope being in the Barral in other games :p
i was worried for you abit there exos can melea stomp you through the wall in those bunkers i wouldn't use them as protection like that if they get too close
You should check out the SVD as a secondary weapon. Till you get it to level 9 and you can get the SVD Upper B, you'll be stuck with iron sights but it does good damage an you can, with headshots, kill most basic enemies and if you're lucky, score a double.
I do love SVD's I should try it out for sure. Presently working on the Scar wishing it gets better but still feeling underwhelming. I will try out the SVD soon for sure.
@@daddymeatshield Honestly the SCAR is kinda underwhelming till you get the dumb mag C. You're honestly better off with the AK, the 100 round drum and whatever high-end parts you can get. I've mine at just about level 10 and I can do 202 damage with it. There's a mission for when the Ashen wasteland, kill the sniper there. The mission gives you an AM rifle that does 800 damage by default. It's relatively easy to complete after you kill him. Also, make sure you equip silencers for your weapons, they're a life saver.
I hope it will come down the road but I fear you might have a while to wait since they need to finish a lot before they can even fully finish it on PC. At least by then all the bugs should be worked out ;-) Thanks for the comment.

I need to experiment with it more, the times I have used it mainly basic troops hitting it and lets say a 5 man squad and it takes out like the first 2 closest but the others are fine. So need to test it on vehicles more.

Yes, I think they are going to tweak all of that as they develope if you check out my optics testing video its a huge factor in my testing. Seems to have a lot to do with day/night/dusk and what is equipped on some weapons. Even worse with a flashlight on a weapon and seems to react with the gas discharge in combination of the muzzle flash. Some optics basically become unusable.
You mean Alt Fire? I do that a lot with weapons like the Painless but prefer the ADS view with the Anti Tank and NTW unless I'm using them at close range. Thanks for the comment!
Sorry it did not work out well that's a bummer. The Developers understand the game needs a lot of work on optimization especially on lower end hardware. It causes a lot of problems for a bunch of people also adding support for a bunch of GPU ability's and functions is on the list of things to get done. So hopefully you will have a much better experience when you come back.
Well when you retrieve your tomb stone you should get the weapons you had equipped back and rig upgrades. At least its supposed to work that way. I have had it bug out many times though where it doesn't give me anything back or possible something different. I think they need to work on the body recovery it seems a bit buggy still. Also possibly you turned in a quest? Their is a quest reward that is a Anti-Tank Rifle.
@@daddymeatshield I was still doing the quest to get 3 drone parts. I died in the large hangar with the mech inside, where you can climb up to reach outside along some pipes. Taking the way from inside the hangar you can actually climb up right from the pipes to get in between them. That's where I died, because the game crashed and where I retrieved my gear.
the anti tank rifle is worse then the 300 round mag m249 saw, chain gun and the grenade launchers, there's no reason to use it for a sniper rifle anyways since there's better options. Also there is no pen values rn
The big downside to all those weapons is I roll the Old Man class and can not use those heavy weapons so this is one of the best options I can run. Plus I enjoy it quite a bit so far.
Not always, they did a update since the saved weapon mod loadouts when deleted where crashing the game since then it has been buggy showing saved items correctly. Hope they will fix it soon.
Such a bad buggy gunplay, 50% shots from certain weapons won't even register. Tried to kill legless cyborgs with silenced magnum - 1 or 2 hits from over 50 shots at point blank range, tried to aim both shoulder and sights. Maybe due to messy bones bullets fly from some other place than a muzzle
I wonder if you where hitting a invisible wall. I find with the crawlers a lot of objects on the ground can have a small invisible bubble around them basically that can block shots. Like railings a great example it appears all railings at this point the large gaps between them just stop the rounds and do not pass through. In general I don't find many shots missing but I primarily use single shot methods and rarely spray or spam fire. When I do that I find I miss a lot of my shots. All of these problems should get ironed out and since we are all testing these things it should help speed up the process I would hope.
@@daddymeatshield , maybe. I didn't shoot through railings, but the occasion happened on a "cagey" metal walkway in Ashen Mess, near the cliffhanging shack with lootbox (near which armed cyborgs usually spawn) Maybe the physical floor level for this type of terrain or this exact location is higher than it looks. But there were no dust splashes or sparks from hitting the terrain which usually give away this type of bug

Depends on what your shooting them with but yes they are beefy. I actually find the Tanks a lot worse they are rough to kill it would seem. I need to test more with the Grenade Launcher and other weapons but Anti Tank does not seem so Anti Tank... hehe I think this will change a lot once they add in armor penetration. From my understanding that is not in the game at all at this point.
@@daddymeatshield Tbf, 20mm was a world war 2 anti-tank round, modern mbts are too well armored for it. Now it would be excellent against heavily armored infantry, exos, and medium mechs which realistically wouldn't have much armor (maybe 3-4 inches at most).
@@Verrin_the_Wyvern Yes the Solothurn S-18/100 is very cool to be in the game but it does not have the best selection of rounds like the newer weapons designed for true armor penetration. The GM6 Lynx in the game is a weapon that is truly designed to lay the vehicle smack down.
@@Verrin_the_Wyvern Well it doesn't yet... it operates basically the same as the Solothurn but once armor pen is in the game it should change that a lot. In real life the gm6 is specifically designed to kill vehicles.

Agreed the graphics are amazing. I don't think the developers are going to drop out on this one I get the feeling they are in it for the long haul from what I see on the discord and overall. I do think the spawns and how the AI function needs a lot of work but feel its heading in the right direction. Many times ill have just a big group of troops just spawn right on me and a lot of the spawns do feel like scripted events more than random AI interactions. I am still flabbergasted I did not realize they where in the game for about the first 4 days I played. I love them as well.
yeah the scar is super under powered. it dont feel like im shooting a fifty bmg
I am in the process of upgrading my skills with it now it is getting better but still feels underpowered damage wise. 8 Rounds rough to start have it up to a 20 rounder now but still feels like it should output more DPS.
@@daddymeatshield you can find a 50 round drum for it, and the supressor is unlocked at a to my yet unknown level, i have been grinding this thing as a sort of side quests to see where it lands around lv 30 or so.
FOR REAL!!
ScarH is one of the worst Rifles. I Know its considered a HeavyRifle, but it just isnt. It has 200 DMG, so it sounds nice at first, having more DMG than AK(165) and M4 (150)
But if you compare it to other Rifles...
The .45 ACP Pistol is also OK, it does 200dmg and has an 8? round mag.
@@BouXIII For sure like the SVD base is 300... how is the 50 BMG less.... I hope they buff it soon its base damage should be much higher. It is a ton of fun to use just lacking its true power so other options are much better atm.
Nice to know i can solo this game as i have nobody to play it with haha! It reminds me of how i always imagined Terminator post the films but great vid and thanks for the tips.
Happy you enjoyed and got some use out of it. You can always jump on the official Discord and possible find some people to play with on their. Thanks for the comment!
Still early access the animation for enemy is Jenkee never the less is terrifying how good for AI is.... 💀🗿
Its a fun start, yes a lot of jenk still but it will all get worked out, what is very scary is what the developers are talking about upgrading the AI and adding all sorts of special moves and kills for the AI. Its going to get crazy. Thanks for the comment.
The devs need to find a system that matches attachments to your specific weapon
Yes, I do try to find those but never scrounge around to much seems they can get tossed all over the place and annoying to locate at times.
They also escort the pilot's off the field as well
You mean the Exo Pilots?
Yeah I have over 100 waters and yet you have people crying bloody murder over it. Check their gameplay time: 1hr or less lol.

I think the problem is with people that can’t play more than an hour or so a day. Water ticks down real time so they’d would not be able to continue.
Making water usage only while playing helps. They could compensate with more water usage the more you play to where it matches where it is now. Just wouldn’t push out casual players who work a lot.
Yes and lasers
Considering the amount of crouching and stealth needed for this game, kinda surprised that the devs did not implement a prone mechanic into the game.
Need first person view. Need to be able to prone and crawl. Silly without.

I am enjoying it.
Solothurn S-18/100
Its a very fun gun to use in the game for sure. The Solothurn S-18/100 20 mm anti-tank cannon was a German and Swiss anti-tank rifle used during the Second World War. Very cool did not know the exact name of it. Thanks for the Comment!

Its a lot of fun, I cant wait for all the new things around the corner for this game buggy but fun start but that's all early access games. I am just thinking what this game will be in a years time ;-)

Stealth is always not mandatory
Thanks for the comment!
you can click on any store purchase on the numbers and quickly spam the 1 key till you have 1111 and then press buy its faster and less clicks.
So do you mean if lets say its a 500 max quantity item and you spam just the 1111 it will default to the max 500? Ill need to try that.
@@daddymeatshield Correct
@@iyakudas That's a trade I am ok with for now, really it was just a bit annoying not a huge deal.

i hope this is well optimized on low settings for my R3 processor
It is really rough on lower end components right now even decent components can struggle. I do believe a lot of that will change as they optimize and upgrade everything in EA. I think a big part of it is that from my understanding a lot of the work is done on your own machine not server side. Give it some time though & I think a lot of that will improve.
Haha at the end going all anti stealth 😂
Yes stealth is really a option in this game, depends on how you play the game. I like that a lot.
The evil laughter after firing the 20mm was perfect.
People already start gun blazing anyway
Can you loot the destroyed tanks ? Or they're just wrecks ?
You can loot the ones that get destroyed, but not the ones that are already destroyed on the battlefield. (Some are always their and just decoration depending on the map.) Basically if they are a flaming wreck they should be one that is loot able and was destroyed. Here is the trick though all the tanks and mechs that get destroyed drop loot boxes that can get launched all over the place. The best option is to run with a Tactical Camera "Scanner" and you can easily find them to go loot. Thanks for the comment!
@@daddymeatshield Thank you verry much. Are there any good loot items from the tanks and mechs or they are only for the quests ?

At This Point, The AT Rifle Is Completely Over Shadowed By All Grenade Launchers
It's Really Only Useful For Attack Helicopters
I would run it a lot if it was easier to get ahold of. I know the Grenade Launcher is far superior at this point but it just doesn't fit my playstyle.
That would be very cool in this art design style! I think the maps are really cool so far.
That will come latter, I just want them to build on this base the right way. Right now its a beautiful mess.
this game has Hight over bore. when you were shooting the ATR from behind cover you were actually hitting the cover. that's why the hit markers seamed inconsistent at first.
Yea figured that out finally, need to watch that better. Sometimes in the thick of it I miss that kind of stuff.
the rig merchent has another tab. you can buy equipment that you put in a large slot. My favorite is the wall hack scanner.

Ironically, the ATR is great for everything except actual tanks.
Oh yeah this game is awesome.😊
I am having a lot of fun with it.
How do I get the silencer and this gun?
The Anti Tank Gun you get from a quest as the reward. I think it will sell in the traders eventually but does not seem to so far. The silencers you can purchase straight from the traders one you level up the gun that uses it or you can find them in the field but I don't have much luck finding them that way. Once weapons hit about level 5 those become available in the traders.

The quest should pop up again I would think so you could snag it again. All the other quests seem to repeat so far.
i was worried for you abit there exos can melea stomp you through the wall in those bunkers i wouldn't use them as protection like that if they get too close
Good tip have never had that happen yet but that would be bad for sure.

That's a lot of muzzle flash...
Some optics basically become unusable.
use no scope mode , it's more accurate
You mean Alt Fire? I do that a lot with weapons like the Painless but prefer the ADS view with the Anti Tank and NTW unless I'm using them at close range. Thanks for the comment!
i could'nt even get through the 5 early quest due to extreme Jankyness ...........i'll come back after 3 years
Sorry it did not work out well that's a bummer. The Developers understand the game needs a lot of work on optimization especially on lower end hardware. It causes a lot of problems for a bunch of people also adding support for a bunch of GPU ability's and functions is on the list of things to get done. So hopefully you will have a much better experience when you come back.
I died, retrieved my bakcpack and made the extraction. Then I had this weapon in my inventory. I'm not complaining but why?

The camera angel does need some work over the shoulder is cool but I tend to not use it much and just go first person for a lot of it.
I didn't shoot through railings, but the occasion happened on a "cagey" metal walkway in Ashen Mess, near the cliffhanging shack with lootbox (near which armed cyborgs usually spawn)
Maybe the physical floor level for this type of terrain or this exact location is higher than it looks. But there were no dust splashes or sparks from hitting the terrain which usually give away this type of bug

Mechs in this game are strangely tanky.
Depends on what your shooting them with but yes they are beefy. I actually find the Tanks a lot worse they are rough to kill it would seem.
