This is why, i feel the game is not immersive. They got the aesthetic perfect, but not the gameplay execution. But gameplay wise, there are lots of immersive breaking faults. Limiting mechs and tanks in small maps is also a bad design.

So I've extracted with the Mech pilot about 6* now successfully. Turn in quest, but she doesn't show up in recruits. Bugged for you as well? I even tried to load back into a map and extract with her again, seeing if she works like the destroyed/disabled gun mechanic, but no dice.

Used the m79 to try and take out the red baron and STILL couldn't find the quest item. I've followed just about every guide/tip I can find only for me to not be able to find the item. Even after taking out the exo inside the hanger, I still can't find the box with the item I need for the quest.

Yes, I think I get the idea. If you put three dozen bullets into a tank, it will explode one way or another. I hope my irony is clear to everyone.

I'm confused, why was the mech attacking the player if the player's objective was to save her(the pilot)?

Note: he can spawn durring the night time cyborg take over time. He'll be pretty damn easy to spot and will likely end up picking a fight with a random cyborg.

I'm starting to see why so many people prefer Scav Girl.

Helped quite a bit, though my spawn appears to be bugged. as the door you open at the start of the mission is always open for me. also the guy is never in the room i instead have to open the door down the hallway of the room he came running out of and then he darts into the room you killed him in. have done this 3 times now.

The fact that you can use non anti-tank weapons to take down Exo's is wild. Also that the RPK has a faster time to kill than the anti-tank Tank Rifle. We shouldn't be able to kill an Exo with a non-AT weapon, but what do I know? Also, the Red Baron has been reported multiple times as immortal on the official server. I know the first one you took down was a standard. I'm assuming the other was as well, but we can't see it through the fire.

Funny thing that happened to me while the pilot is behind my backpack a europan medium mech shot me with its bigass gun and tanked it, the pilot is invulnerable so it's a good cover while running for extract

1. find a map you know well and feel comfortable doing. 2. Bring loads of health, ammo and most importantly a tactical camera! 3. Enter the map and do what you would normally do, just be sure to pick up water from somewhere. 4. Once you are near your exit, keep dropping the water and picking it up again, this will trigger the hunter killers. 5. Use the scanner and your environment to get an advantage, they will always path straight to you no matter what, ignoring all enemies. 6. Hunter killers will drop the "Europan HK Suit Equipment" about 50% of the time, if you dont get both the first time just wait for another Hunter Killer to come. GOOD LUCK!

It is said in the lore that the mech pilot is sympathetic to the scavs. I don't think that's going to be the case anymore now lol.

you can add the "red baron's legacy" quest on top and it gives another 5k exp and 100k credits

Equip and Extract w “destroyed grenade launcher” to get it in your inventory that’ll make killing whatever easy

Advise taking one of the drone killer missions, rewards you with the M79 Grenade pistol, which isn't technically a grenade launcher but a pistol, so characters like Scav Girl can use it.

If u have the money the grenade launcher works a little better

to make the quest appear faster accept three random ones from the faction that gives one of the two you need. that way those wont appear. pick up the one you actually want and discard the two you dont need. then do the same for the other quest but this time with only picking up two from that faction.

When opening and closing the quest menu, the quest list resets, this means you can spam the quests with the most rewards, in this example we are spamming the Mech Wreck and Bring Her In quests for a easy 15k XP plus whatever you get normally.

You could have just brought a grenade launcher and hit it 3 times.
