Been using the camera alot. I've noticed something odd about Mechs and Exo's. The cam doesn't light up the whole thing... Only certain spots on them. I'm wondering if they are weak points. I haven't gotten around to testing the theory. Oh and angry doggo seems to be invisible to the cam.
It seems like a lot of the unit specific special materials quests aren't fully implemented. Like the one that tells you to get Brawler parts. Killed 20 brawlers never found a single one in the loot.
5:00 Enemies can see you but them actually attacking or leaving you alone are decided by a few different things, for example the soldier at the start who *did* become alerted didn't go full tilt on the attack because comparatively your not as an immediate of a threat to them or their team. It's a bit difficult for me to full explain how it works but from what I understand, is that your in the same "weight" class as a regular infantrymen, but since your not an active threat (you were leaving their position), they ignored you, with ARs, etc., it's 50/50 if they just shoot you on sight or don't, GLs put you at the highest "threat" and Revolvers, SMGs, etc., put you at the lowest, some units like Mechs and Tanks will pretty actively ignore you unless you either linger or become a target that is worth some concern or opportunity or you get "raised" into or above their weight class, for example the medium mechs are in their own Weight class, along with most vehicles, meaning mechs will always target other mechs, etc., first (with some exceptions like the chaingun the one mech has on the rear), so essentially Bigger-Gun, and weather or not your actually using it on someone makes you a bigger threat (if a Medium mech is shooting infantry that are shooting at it and you pop a GL shot into it, you'll now be the more concerning threat so it'll target you with the main gun now), so that Melee Cyborg did see you, but you weren't as high of a concern as the active fight going on up the hill from where you came. This is just what I understand of how it works, and I just kinda stumbled upon the info from someone who has actually been talking and playing with the Developers directly talking about it in a video.
HAHA! I actually quit playing this about a month or so ago because I was tired of getting a rocket up the ass when I'm picking up loot. I have my monitors "gaming mode" obnoxious bright green dot to create crosshairs...& it was still a problem. I wanna come back to the game eventually, but others have occupied my time now.
Took me 5 kills to get it to drop from him, but it wasn't in the fire! It was probably 10 yards away or so. IED and a turret will smoke him pretty rapidly - or a grenade launcher.
😄 I love how you're just inadvertently breaking the game as I'm pretty sure the designers didn't intend for players to just kite & exploit the AIs instead of avoid and cower from everything. The game seems like a real labor of love but it definitely needs more polish. That mech just idly standing upright after dying is something to see.
Not really ... Severs are great to get loot for Anti-Tank rifle and shit ton of meds, and then escape through the right side of the trenches, you just have to take a turn to walk in front of the hanger, not through it.
Doesn't seem likely since you are doing the quests for a specific person, not the entire nation. Your contact will hook you up with stuff but I'm pretty sure the soldiers won't care a bit you helped a guy and still shoot you when you pose a threat to them
I killed him 3-4 times and still no banner I think its broken. Also for me he never leaves hangar so I always have to fight 2 exos and the second I kill him I get hunter killers on me.
Banner doesn't spwn in the current build. Its something to fix. Also use the grenade launcher, it kills exos in like 3 or 4 shots. 👍

I heard it does it’s just a rare drop which is probably a bug because when you go against a boss for a quest you should get it in one shot

This game could seriously use a fire extinguisher item.
Side note incase anyone hasn't discovered it. ADSing at the boxes makes it easier to loot, especially if you got a cluster of loot around each other.

It would be really cool to see more air battles in this game, the helicopters and drones are cool but more planes or jets would be sick.

Weapon Parts supposedly not included yet, while Water Tank upgrade was glitched last time I checked.

You have to have a weapons carrier on your rig to pick up the banner if it spawns on your kill.

With the jump pack you can rush to the extract in like a minute.

@@vicogmirthe NTW slaps, it 1shots most small enemies in the game and you can pick it up from Europan snipers that spawn in scorched enclave.
