The department i work for even though it's a volunteer department they treat us like we work part time so we do get paid but only like $7/hr and we get a paycheck every 3 months but even then I'd make like only maybe $100 a month and we still have to pay taxes on it (which sucks but im not doing it for the money)

You couldn't be a firefighter because you dont have a sense of humour. The FDNY are always going on about how they all joke around and have a laugh. Surely you must of known I was joking. I have a lot of respect for the FDNY and I would love to join them in a few years. It was a joke and you should know that.
