"Your work as an offering." So true! I focus on that especially when I am unmotivated or feel that my work contributes no real value to the world. Thank you! Also, I really resonate with your comment about "making art for a living." As a professional ghostwriter for technical/scientific experts, I honestly don't write for myself. I don't feel like writing when I do it on deadline every day. I hope to find a way to kindle your sense of play into a writing practice. I wish writing could be more visual and easy for people to consume. LOL P.S....I bet you're LOVING your glass-top table today!
I love these videos! I am creative with fibers - knitting and needlework. However I find this work fascinating. To be able to see a pear and replicate is amazing.

Watching you set up your studio space has been incredibly inspiring. It has been the best by far, to me, to see a beautiful creative space that is airy, inspiring, and calming. My creative hobby is sewing/quilting and I have watched several videos of people setting up their craft areas/rooms/studios hoping to find something that would work for me, but I’ve never seen a video showing a space that is as tidy and uncluttered as yours. I understand people have to work with the space they have, but as I’ve gotten older, I have found that having less sewing paraphernalia out and on display is more conducive for creativity for me. Thank you for showing your lovely space with your tools and art displayed in beautiful ways. I am now very inspired to make my space more of a joy to create in!

what paper do you use..? Pit as long as I know is soft pastels pencil
I use vellum Bristol board for the Pitt pastels, they are kind of soft but harder than regular pastels

What is that calligraphy pen you are using in the sun room??
It is a Platinum Carbon fountain pen, I use it for writing my morning pages, they’re very reasonably priced on Amazon 🤓
