You are beautiful soul in and out through your creations an daily journey!! Very inspiring to find me and keep going through create art, painting or writing!
You are in your right path, true to your self hapiness and peace❣️❣️
I recommend filling your journal with plein air paintings. Landscapes flowers houses whatever interests you. But painting outdoors is so wonderful😊
You can fill it with things you find in your garden 💚
Oh I love that!
Love the chill vibes ❤
I am enjoying your videos very much….so fulfilling and peaceful. Thank you❤
So enjoyable to watch and listen. I'm trying to do journaling in the morning!
Thank you Luisa! I would love to catch up soon I could use an art reality check, this feels like such a heavy season to me 🌚
Fill it with landscapes. Use google maps, drop the pin down somewhere random and paint what you see in the streetview! Urban, country, seaside ... the whole world is open to you from your studio that way.
Okay this is genius. If I don’t use for this sketchbook I will totally do it somewhere else. Thank you I love it!
Good morning. I just discovered you as I do my daily scrolling of artists and their work. Thank you for taking us along on your journey. It takes time to create these videos. It is appreciated. Lovely calming instructive. 🦋
Thank you so much, this was a particularly lovely and thoughtful comment to receive this morning 🤍
Hi Jess, Love your videos and they are very inspiring. It made me start sketching again after a really long time. ☺☺ For your watercolor sketchbook, I would suggest filling it with your garden things in different seasons.
Hello, oh thank you so much for the lovely comment and I am happy to hear that you are sketching again! That makes two of us ☺️. Also love the garden sketchbook idea 🌱
Really amazing and beautiful sketch book
Fill it with things from your garden 🪴
Great vlog! Soothing and inspiring. Thank you! 🙏✨
Seconding the idea of things that inspire your bigger works. Thank you for posting these videos. I love them.
That makes me so happy to hear, Shannan 🥰 Thank you for your encouragement it means a lot!
Love the idea of still life😍
fill it with autumn leaves
I love your art ❤ and i like your fashion style! Love love the short hair and beanies! I also have very short hair but my case is not fashion, i have alopecia … but copycating your style makes me feel pretty 😊
Thank you so much, your comments are always so genuine and heart warming to receive. And you know, first the shaved head wasn't fashion, it was depression. Then it become a ritual each week that allowed me to... shed what I think I know and start fresh.
@@studioxjessthank you for sharing that ❤ i am kinda in a similar boat but for me it’s anxiety, doctors tell me my type of alopecia is stress induced defused alopecia, thank goodness we have art to relax and express our emotions and feelings. Much love 💕
Maybe fill the sketch book with whatever inspires you for that day so that it is full of many different things.
How about making water color collages in yhat sketchbook?
Hi Jess, hope you’re doing well. Just stumbled upon your video and I’m just awestruck ❤
Thank you so much 🥰
Please can you give a link for your blending stumps? Thank you!
Wow your fruit sketches are next level 🥰
@@ELENAOttawa since when do you have to sell to be an artist? And why do you find the need to correct me that I like her sketches? 😅
Your comment says more about you than about Jess.
Thank you 🥰
@@AtelierLaRivieraokay you are now my personal hero 💪 this reply just made my afternoon!
@@studioxjessoh with pleasure hahaha ☺️☺️
Hi Jess. Very peaceful and inspiring video. I love your voice. What a dream to have a studio as an artist. For your sketchbook, you could fill it with functional or / decorative objects that you love (sorry in advance if it’s not the kind of art you do). I’m an artist myself but although I envy you to be able to make a living of your art I would worry that becoming a job, I lose my inspiration and my creativity in trying to appeal an audience in order to pay the bills. When I was young I went in a fashion school to become a fashion designer. After that I stopped drawing. Drawing became a job and the pressure I felt inhibited my creativity and motivation. It took me so many years to come back to my first love.
Hello! First of all, thank you much for your lovely comment. Second, the same thing happened to me. I actually went to fashion school too, then ended up in marketing for 10 years doing no art at all before I quit my job to be an artist. And over these 7 years I haven’t consistently been full time exactly because it starts feeling like the money part ends up making me less inspired to create. So, you are not alone! I am still trying to figure this out. ❤
I see. I guess the marketing that you learned help you for your art business? For me, it’s really an aspect that pushes me away as it is so complex and time consuming. Bye from France!
@@chrystelelacroix4681 I completely agree. It has helped me for sure, but it is also time consuming and not always enjoyable. I try to treat it like it’s own creation … but marketing and I have a very complicated relationship 😉 thanks for saying hi !
lovely video - I'm outfitting a new studio - can you tel me where you got those file tables? Thanks.
I got the white drawers from IKEA (Alex drawers) and the tables are made of butchers block. Good luck with the outfitting!
Still life
Since you're doing fruits in pastels... what about vegetables in watercolor? lol
How about water ? Or elements : air, earth, fire, water, and ether ? 🤔
@ELENAOttawa sooo... thats got what to do with my comment ? And you're just a jealous troll spamming everybody's comments? Yup, thats what I thought
@@corriemcginnis4400 haha thank you for this! 💪
