Honestly, this is probably the best episode of Buzzed In! Elena, it feels like you have hit your stride with this series, and Teya is a wonderful well spoken subject!
I just want to say THANK YOU for speaking on the history of Williamsburg and how heavy the puerto Rican community was and still is. Love this video and all the vibes, gorgeous decor!!
@@rinaaaaax3 She was kind of deja vu in that she mentioned people leaving their tenement apts on the lower east side friends of mine moved into Greenpoint/Williamsburg to get out of the lower east side, this was the 80s/early 90s. While the creatives are gentrifiers in their own right they make things attractive for the bougies, and they attract the developers that push people out.
She is such a vibe, that girl is full of wisdom. She is so right what we surround ourselves with, the words we speak, the food and information we indulge in is definitely setting the stage or should I say creating the life you want to live in. Thank you for sharing Teya, lovely name by the way.
From all the places you did home tours video's for, this one by far is my favorite!!!! Its unique, refreshing, it looks like its from a different country like Europe. It seems so peaceful, calm space and so inspiring.
I feel like her work/art and her home really translate her personality, which I truly admire! Not only her space is super inspiring to me but also her personality. Simply beautiful!
Top tier Elena. Absolutely one of the best in the playlist (btw I am not sure if this one came up in that list...just in case it needs to be tagged to be found there. Stunning space, energy, and the artist is stunningly spoken and a vibe herself. Wish for more kewl tours --esp now that in Paris ...grrrrl that is the place to film such.@@ElenaTaber
she's gracious like a dancer ans so mature for her age ! i love the colours of this home, reminds of the beach with this pale blue and raw wood. beautiful and restful place, perfect for creation . i love these creations too !
OMG, this space is like a chill oasis for my eyes, with all those cozy wood vibes! 🌿🏡 Her personality shines through her art and home - so inspiring. This apartment tour was a total masterpiece! Sending love from India, Elena! 🇮🇳💕
So relaxing I wish i had the self discipline to be this boring. I mean this in a nice way like I seriously admire the restraint. It looks effortless. The less is more concept is one I could never grasp maybe cause of my autism like more is literally more.
It’s a beautiful video! You really managed to capture the feeling of moving to a new place and hit a nerve in the best way, because that is just one of the most beautiful and nerve racking feelings in life ❤
i love seeing this, her space truly is a reflection of her. these videos make me more excited for my trip this year!! like there really are dope creatives in nyc 🥹✨
I'm very curious where/how she gets her ceramics fired? I did not see a kiln, I'm imagining she'd have to transport everything carefully to somewhere with a kiln.
I’m so happy I found your channel again !!! I used to watch it so much during the summer and I forgot to subscribe and couldn’t find you once my algorithm changed. I found you !!! I subscribed immediately !! Your videos are so amazing
What an adorable studio I really like the ones that are apartment Studios because I have the same thing going on but also on a watercolor subscription service, and it can be tricky to find that balance
im so curious how her finances break down...like how can she afford this place since she was 20...the maths not mathing with her still-growing pottery career
Hi Elena. I have been watching your content since I was in middle school and I have always loved your videos but as someone who grew up in nyc I have many questions about your history, section of these videos, and choice of neighborhoods. Given your background and the values you put online I feel like your history section is heavily white wash, especially when it comes to Williamsburg. Additionally, the majority of these videos have always been an affluent communities that are predominantly white. I would never assume your intentions, especially because as much as I love your videos and how you present yourself online, I’m not entirely sure who you. But as someone who does create this kind of content, I would encourage you to look outside of your norm.
Listen, I NEED you to know, that I absolutely ADORE, just adore, your necklace! 😅 I just moved from Paris to Bali and an apartment tour would have been dope! Maybe one day I can give you a tour of my future Los Angeles apartment! #callingitin 🤲🏾🌚✨ Thanks for this inspiring video. Loved every single inspiring second; this is one of the most beautiful apartments I have ever seen, and thank you Teya for opening up your he(art) & home. ❤️🤎🩶🖤
I understand what you are trying to do and I also understand you are very creative. The thing I don't understand is when I got out looking around (for example at the Goodwill) the place is full of pottery, glassware, etc. that people have discarded and young people don't want things. Literally shelves and shelves of beautiful pottery and glassware to be had for very little. You would really have to be creating something totally new to be successful. As a much older person, I admire your drive but I wouldn't want to see you just "spinning your wheels" only to pay rent. You seem like you could be creative in other ways too. What about decorating? Window dressing for large department stores? Fashion? I don't know. This just seems like a very odd time to be a creative person because everyone is basically doing the same thing - minimalist. Your apartment is very nice considering you are using it as work space too. I could just see you putting yourself out there to the world and making a very large impression doing almost anything creative. Good luck to you in the future.
This entire space is one giant brain soothing massage. Love the layering & the various wood textures. What a sweet home!
i feel like Brooklyn apartments are always such a vibe. must be the house plants!!
Before the Dutch arrived, the land where Brooklyn sits today belonged to the Indigenous people called the Lenape.✌️
Honestly, this is probably the best episode of Buzzed In! Elena, it feels like you have hit your stride with this series, and Teya is a wonderful well spoken subject!
Teya is such an old soul in the best way!!! She has such a mature presence for a 23 yr old woman! Her talent and apt is superb❤
Her energy puts me at ease. What a lovely space and person!
I just want to say THANK YOU for speaking on the history of Williamsburg and how heavy the puerto Rican community was and still is. Love this video and all the vibes, gorgeous decor!!
wish she spoke more about how gentrified it became because of transplants

She did a great job of making a modern, "cookie cutter" type apartment feel warm and unique!
I always like the history segments about ny neighborhoods that you put in the video, keep doing them
I love the color scheme throughout this apartment! It’s so calming. And love the bathroom tile omg 😍

My grandparents had a huge ceramic shop in AL when I was growing up. It was right next to their house. It was always my favorite place to be!
Really cool flat…I love this channel I’m a nosey person (lol) so I enjoy looking at people’s interiors and getting ideas from them
I'm very curious where/how she gets her ceramics fired? I did not see a kiln, I'm imagining she'd have to transport everything carefully to somewhere with a kiln.

Vegans always have such a beautiful energy
@Elena Taber, I like that you gave some historical information but that should start with acknowledging indigenous people who were there first.
Loved this place!

How/what are the sizes for the bedroom curtains? And what is on the ceiling that makes the curtain hang? Please advise, thanks!
You forgot to mention the Lenape Ppl. The original inhabitants. No drama but keep the history alive and chronological. The dutch abused and used.
Hi Elena! Where is your necklace from? It’s beautiful :)
Obsessed w her! 😍
