I spent 26 and 1/2 years as a commissioned officer in the U. S. Navy, retiring as a Commander back in 2007, and I've heard The Star-Spangled Banner played more times than I can count, but I've never heard a sweeter version than the one you played on this video. At 65, I guess I'm prone to get a bit teary-eyed every now and then, but that wonderful anthem and those beautiful green fields put a huge lump in my throat and got the old waterworks going pretty strong. So this old Veteran thanks and salutes you with all his heart.
When you raised the flag, it brought back memories of when I was in security forces reveille and retreat ceremony. You marched out to the flag pole, and when the base played the national anthem, with white gloves on you slowly lowered the flag at a steady slow pace to match the music. Once lowered you and your wingman would fold the flag together. Once accomplished together you would march to your vehicle or building to secure the flag. That was retreat and morning ceremony was reveille. Which required marching to flag pole and raising the flag slowly to the base music playing the National Anthem. It always made me feel proud to be serving, with eyes on you and the flag.
99 Projects...that is the right version of our National Anthem you played at the end, don't be afraid/shy about playing it at the end of your other videos going forward as we're sure you noticed the overwhelmingly strong positive reaction to it in the comments. God Bless America!
Thank you for all the reverence & respect to our nations flag. I stood up and saluted as you raised it high on your project! USMC 0311 Devil Dog - 2001/2005
When you took the flag up before welding the pole in I wondered how you were going to keep it from touching the surface. Great respect, you must have been a boy scout!
Back in the 1980s, I worked for a freight forwarding company in what is now the posh Seaport district in Boston. Our office in the yard was 4 containers, stacked 2 by 2, with windows and doors. No running water, so you had to go into the main building for a toilet or sink. I see on YT that people make tiny homes with them, so what a great re-use of these old containers.
I’m trying to plan out my new shop build as well I can’t decide between using shipping containers or like a pole barn type. Can’t wait to see yours finished man!
Container structures are the future. I have seen 10 story apartments made with containers, two wide. They can be very economical, or stunningly beautiful. Containers are the new '2x4'.
God Bless America! There were more positive comments about our Flag being treated with respect and re-flown at the end of this video than all of the other comments combined. That is a message from the majority of Americans to the rest of America. ; )
I cant stop watching these videos and i love Max so much! I'm glad YT put your channel in my algorithm. Is there an reason you can fix up the garage and store all of your machines in there? I've been staring at since day one of the cabin in the woods started.
We had a small tornado that tipped over several shipping containers. One of them had several tool boxes in it (LOTS of weight!). I'm sure once the shop is complete it will be all tied together in one form or another.
Im in NE Ohio. Probably about 5 and a half hours away. You guys have had crazy rain this summer. Meanwhile its been a drought here. That rain while unloading the excavator was more than we've had in months. Im not sure why UA-cam put your channel in my suggestions. I watched all the your cabin videos in the last 3 days. Look forward to seeing the progress on the shop.
man you gonna think you got a mansion for a work shop !!!!! are you going to put a stair case on the inside? or maybe a hydrolic lift to go up/down on and to load stuff? the sissor type? i think that would honestly be the way to go...no danger of falling and carrying stuff..id cut some windows in it too for lighting....and airing out...ive seen some ppl literally make homes from them.. they can be alot of work but very nice too .congrates !!!!!!
It isn't rocket science, steel expands and contracts a fair amount and often over the course of a year, that is a good call leaving a little "wiggle room" for movement without massive stresses involved.
Looks great! Now you need another trailer standing up on its side like a castle tower for stairs to the upstairs! 😉 Another great project! Sending Hugs to Max!! ❤
Yo Max dude! I see you don't PM in the rain. Smart. I like concept at end on 3D animation. One Q: How do you access upper container? Bet I gotta wait to find out, right? No biggie. Be blessed bro. Yashua rules!
Mini3pro у меня такой же, клёвый дрон! Уже второй день смотрю плейлист про дом, немного бы подинамичней монтаж, что бы не приходилось ускорять видео, а так все нравится!
Whenever a new 99 Projects video comes up I get some pizza rolls fired up and a cricket or two for my tarantula Putt-Putt and we settle in for the show! Hi Max!! Putt-Putt is kind of facing the screen thats probably as much "Hi Max" as we are gonna get out of her. 🤣
metal against metal so the temp change wont do anything. if you made one of those containers a fridge and other one was oven then maybe it would effect it.
When you add the shed roof on the left, think about mounting it up higher and support it with bracing back to the container. This gives you clear clearance around that side of the container for your little skid steer to keep the hillside cleaned up.
When I was working for the Navy, they tried to see if I could handle a tractor trailer. After many attempts on an old WWII deserted runway, decided to keep me in the office as a dispatcher.😮
Gotta love those GM side-post batteries, but I cut the terminals off the cables of my first Buick. I'd cut them off the Buick I have now, but I wouldn't have enough wire to put normal top-post terminals on, and still be able to reach the posts of a battery. Interesting shop design, I see where you're going with the 2 containers, but I'd rather a more horizontal layout with the sides cut to fit to each other. Love the placement of Old Glory, it's great to know you're a patriot like myself, more power to you!!!!🙂

I gotta admit, I had a tear in my eye when you raised Old Glory. Love your channel. God Bless America 🇺🇲
My reaction too.
I had no idea the US flag had that name. In the UK the nickname is the Union Jack or formerly the union flag.

Forget the wooden cabin, I'd be building a boat with that rain! Nice to see Max again, the furry foreman.

Hi max! Such a good boy! Thank you fellow patriot! The land of the free and the home of the brave.
Prayers for freer & braver

Hi Max! I will never "not be amazed" at skilled truck drivers.
Love seeing Old Glory waving proudly! Love your channel and I know nothing about construction or trucks etc. Cheers from NC

I was not a Boy Scout but I know better
I am very impressed by the respect you showed the flag. Awesome video!!
Brilliant show of respect to our Flag. Thank You from a veteran.
I gotta say thank you for treating the flag with such obvious respect, brother!!

It’s cheap, secure, long lasting square footage.
Nice shop concept.🙂
Kudos to the truck driver!
Concept for the workshop looks good. It will be interesting to see how you build out the interior.
Andrew would be proud. Love watching.
Good boy, Max! Keep those guys in line! Excellent job with the precision work y'all do with those machines.
First, Thank you for the flag that represents our great country and thank you for the National Anthem. GOD BLESS AMERICA 🇺🇸🇺🇸
I've seen these ride double decker on the rails, but somehow still had doubts about this working. Pretty nifty work. Salute!
Your Expansion/Contraction analysis is correct
Loved the flag part! So many these days have no love for our country anymore. God Bless the USA!
Exciting nervous😮video. Maybe stucco the whole thing. Old Glory - nice touch. God bless.
Thank you for the front row seat to things I never would have seen! Stacking the containers was wild! The shop is going to be amazing. 🇺🇲
Hello to Max. Great job keeping it all together.
I’m trying to plan out my new shop build as well I can’t decide between using shipping containers or like a pole barn type. Can’t wait to see yours finished man!
Pole barns are easy and cheap ish. I want a good challenge and I want it to last for 500 years. That’s kinda my motivation
Something so appealing about this channel...i enjoyed this episode
That actually looks like a decent start for a two-story "tiny" home with a covered carpark.
Container structures are the future. I have seen 10 story apartments made with containers, two wide. They can be very economical, or stunningly beautiful. Containers are the new '2x4'.
Doing great and it's going to be a great build
Love your videos, after the progression of the cabin, it'll certainly be interesting to see how his turns out.
That was smooth. Went up great. Cheers from uk.

Hi from Vancouver. Big fan of your channel
Max is the goodest boy, even if he's in the way sometimes! How are you planning on accessing the top container?
Might be cool to have a ladder on the inside going up into the broken floor of the upper container 🤔
I’ll put one up next

Almost this entire video was a pucker watching that container move. Good work boys
Good job!.... agree on Metal expansion.
Curious what the consensus would be on that

Love what you do. Be careful with filming welding. Without the proper filming equipment. It can destroy the camera. (Filming wise, not physical)

Hi Max - 99 bottles of beer on the wall, 99 bottles of beer, take one down, pass it around, 98 bottles of beer on the wall. 🥴🍻🍾
I would have done stacked storage containers like you did but 2 stacked one on the left and right of the old garage then put new roof been best shop

metal against metal so the temp change wont do anything. if you made one of those containers a fridge and other one was oven then maybe it would effect it.
These Containers I've never liked because they have issues with moisture and condensation dripping onto your things.
Great video lad, containers like that cost crazy money here in Ireland.
Oh interesting. There cheap ehre
