I hope it remains a dream, not because I want to be mean, but because I want you to retain your humanity!
Because such people would disappoint you dreadfully!
Poverty is not a disability, it is not a handicap!
In life, we must have goals, we must have ambition, we must have rightly or wrongly, benchmarks in life!
To struggle to build an entire estate and give it to the poor and less privileged is an act of vanity!
If you were once poor and homeless and someone gave you a whole house for free, you wouldn't the dream you have now!
To give the less fortunate or less privileged houses for free, is to cripple or stifle them!
They will turn that estate into a slum in no time at all!
That would be tragic, considering your efforts and kindness!
That's why they say, it is better to teach a man who lives by the river, how to fish, rather than catching the fish and giving it to him.
You won't be doing them any favours really!

      Nigeria, Nigeria, Nigeria!!!
From shoe maker to real estate billionaire in about 12 years…
Are you the only one selling houses in Lagos?
Typically, we are in awe of these kinds of stories that appeal to our innate desire for success because it gives us a rejuvenated feeling of hope.
It animates that internal voice within most of us that whispers: ‘Yes, I can do it too’ or ‘I am next.’
Only to later discover the nonsensicality of the tale we have been told and the dimness we mistook for inspirational light.
I genuinely pray that everything I have heard in this interview is true. However, I am largely skeptical.

Even with a 90% failure rate, the successful businesses in Silicon Valley still have a clear pattern.
First, create a start-up from almost nothing and have a little success or a sign of potential success.
Second, get venture capitalists who will invest in the business. Their investment gives you real capital.
This second stage is the idea behind a show like 'Shark Tank.'
Third, grow the business and then take it public (that is an IPO launch e.g. John and Michael Nig. Plc.). If the IPO is successful then sometimes the founder becomes a billionaire.
Many Nigerian founders move from imprecise start-ups to billionaire status with no venture capital investment while they are still running limited liability companies (e.g. John and Michael Nig. LTD).
      They skip all these stages.
Then as a ruse, they concoct a trite story about how they succeeded.
I am not surprised he could not make any money in the US.
The structure and process over there prevents flimflam.

@@jacksonogwindi1653 There is a yawning canyon between faith and folly, credulity frequently tries to bridge it.
Once again, I am not saying everything pronounced here is untrue but I maintain my skepticism.
The complexity of Nigeria and the continuous interlinking of criminal and legitimate businesses make many things possible.
For the record, I hope you know that a former business individual who was once on the Forbes 30 under 30, like the fellow in this video, was later found out to be an internet scam artist and business email compromiser.
His name is Invictus (Obinwanne Okeke) and he is now behind bars in the United States. He was found guilty of stealing over 10million USD.
Do not believe everything that you are told.

@@patternsamazing Hmm while your perspective isn't invalid, it is absolutely possible to attain this status without any form of connotative line of hustle. Yes, most of all these success stories leave out the major question of where the initial capital to run with came from, but trust me, not all successful indigenous young men are linked to fraudulent activities or any form of dysmorphic line of work.
You just need to open your mind to a world of endless possibilities.
There are soooo many hidden ways to make money in Nigeria that aren't in the least bit, fraudulent.

There’s nothing like self-made, but majorities of this guys are also into internet fraud before venturing into property business. Hushpuppi would have invested into properties himself if he was smart enough and you guys would be saying the same that he’s self made, but not knowing he’s stealing from hardworking people for his own benefit. He once claim he is real estate developer with no portfolio to showcase. I won’t be surprise one day if this guy is wanted in the United States for internet fraud. The Yahoo boys have learned from Hushpuppi mistakes that’s why their all venturing into real estate have stealing millions from innocent hardworking Americans. Mist billionaires in Nigeria are not self made, but got their wealth through illegal means. Dangote is the main fronts for the Northerners that’s why he’s allowed to control most commodities in the country while the corrupt Atiku kept Nigerians into darkness because of his generator power company (MIKANO). The money meant for power generation to electrified the country was embezzled by him start all his illegal businesses in the country. We are talking of $16 billion dollars. We have Diezani in hiding in Dominica. She was claimed that she’s got cancer and been interviewed by Dele Momodu in London with fake makeups to make her look like she’s really sick for Nigerians forgiveness. Dele Momodu was paid millions in pounds for that interview. Nobody is talking about the missing billions of dollars she stole from Nigerians. People that rob Nigeria in billions are being protected all over the world and in the country, but some fools are burning hungry men that stole just fifty naira to death. The problem of Nigeria is in the hands of Nigerians.

    Great video, great subject matter!
But i have noticed something about Steve "The Duke" Ndukwu!
It is a trait that I have seen also in Tayo Aina and Wodemaya!!
It is their ability ( capacity) to LISTEN!!
They are all able to listen so attentively!!
This trait helps them understand the subject, and this understanding is what makes them good storytellers and vloggers!!
    Kudos Steve 👌🏾👍🏾!!

I've met Mr. Nola once when I attended Mr. Gbenga's(One of the three Msuketeers of Tribitat) child naming ceremony with my Elder brother, Hassan Ismail(AKA D'Cordinator, I call him the real estate Makanaki) and I can tell you for free that he's the most humble rich man I have ever met. At his age and level, Boss Nola has no peers in the real estate business as far as Lagos Real Estate Biz is concerned. Mad respect Boss, soar higher and healthier sir!

I'm 22 now and nowhere near my goal but i haven't lost hope. I have a dream to be the youngest dollar billionaire in africa and i will make that dream a reality. Nigeria's history of the past 40 years had been interesting. The groups that went into Nigeria and the resulting groups that come out of Nigeria is the effect i will like for my enemies.
For myself, i will use statistics to compute the returns-on-investments for properties based on economic performance of country over past 40 years (and snigger at my enemies). And use the same ROI on local-businesses, foreign-investors, religious-funds, ... (and try to contain my laughter for what i will be suggesting to my enemies' social circles)

There is a particular segment of Nigerians that's really intelligent and made of the highest pedigree besides the shortcomings and general lack of ethics and opportunity in their country. This interviewer is a really socially conscious guy. He is a generalist in terms of know- how but still maintains some kind of precision in the end result unlike most generalists.
The real estate guy has that ability as well on top of being an absolutely intentional guy. Nothing ever is in this life. That aspect of him and the general perspective to life is sth to admire. He went back to the basics.
