  • This is a 5 minute video of a slider board series to work your glutes and upper body. This is a great series for pre and post-natal women, including those looking to return to running, however it may not be appropriate if you’re experiencing pelvic girdle pain. Exercises can be made more challenging by adding in the upper body weights or made easier by sticking with body weight and reducing the distance you extend your leg. Please stop at whatever level feels appropriate for you.
    *It is important that you do not experience any abdominal doming, back pain, vaginal heaviness or leakage during this series.
    You will need a slider board, if you don’t have one you can use a small hand towel and a set of light dumbbells (1-2kg)
    Scooter + triceps 10-20 reps
    Skater + lateral raise 10-20 reps
    Scooter + twist 10-20 reps
    Skater + front raise 10-20 reps
    Repeat 1-3 sets each side
