I've been told there is a tab on Traderie that you can look at completed trades. I just could not located it, didn't see it. That would obviously be even more accurate in my opinion.
When you're on the item search, on the app anyways, it's the 3rd of three tabs under the searched for item. I haven't used the website, which I'm sure has a slightly different format/layout.
When you click on the item, one of the tabs right on top of the filters (below ads) there is one called "Recent Trades", you cant filter there tho, so there will be ladder and non ladder completed trades mixed up.
Hey sweet phil love the channel. I found a eth andariels visage with 147 enhance defense 10LOH AND 27 strength any ideas what it might be worth only found one on traderie with better stats and the person wanted 25 jah runes. Just tryna figure out what it's worth.
you have to be careful about using this method because one person can make 2 accounts, or 2 friends can trade with themselves to give the illusion that it has that value.
How do i pice out non unique / rune items? i've tried multiple different sites and they don't keep a good sold history or what stats are going for.. wish there were some sort of poe style trade site. traderie is pretty good with being able to add stats but still no use on items i've found.
I use Traderie mostly, and it's good to look at what people are asking to set a sell price, but there's a tab that shows recent trades, so you can see what things are actually trading for. The only problem is, at this point, you can't see the details of the trade (item details that is), but between the two tabs, you can discern a sell/buy price easily.
@@beelzebub9662 People can ask for anything, but you don't have to accept it. There are plenty of offers that are fair or even under market value. Look at down-rune exchanges. Prime example. 2Mal = 1 Ist, but you won't get two Mal runes hardly ever, and you never get the gem. Jah and Ber is the same way. Technically, 2Ber = 1 Jah, and people ask for that, which is fair, but you'll never get it. So, what's asked for, fair or not, doesn't matter. That's why I always look at what's actually trading. That, or undercut the plethora of listings (if I'm selling an item) if they're all the same, but if that gets out of hand, it affects market value.

I used d2jsp to value things but eventualy find easier to sell all for gold and when i need stuff just buy it. if u r casual player like me, u will probably sell for a lot of gold now, and when u need end game stuff things will be real cheap
Jsp is the best site to use but the d2 community is anti jsp lol id rather trade my items for gold and then spend the gold on anything i want and not be forced to trade item for item
@@justinhildebrand1515 yea, the point of dislike is, a lot of poeple already have tons of gold, or pay for the gold, so they already can buy best ítems as soon as they are found and thats like mhee
i hate JSP, but i love you. i know you just getting those clicks. i am going to check out traderie seems dope. as long as people dont spend money and its all in game trades.
I’ve never had any issues using game names to trade but I know people will always flock to 3rd party for an edge. Thanks for helping educate ppl about how to avoid being taken advantage of. Good man!
Yes, it is sometimes fun to do that unless you have something specific you want to sell that is more nieche. Lets say, a perfect string of ears belt for melee or like dwarf stars for GF barbs, etc, which is not particularly in high demand but holds value for certain characters. Then, joining trade games can be rather uncomfortable and those 3rd party websites are way better for this. Simply post your items and sell them within moments sometimes if they are reasonably priced instead of joining a 5 sorc and 3 pally trading game where only certain bis items are in demand usually and leave in moments not finding anyone of interest.
I'm looking for specific rare claws to try a new build for my Sin but Traderie doesn't seem to have a spot where I can show ppl I'm looking for them and I'm assuming ppl don't really hold onto them too long. For anyone curious the claws im looking for are 2 Sin skills, ctc amp dmg, ias, and plus to dtail... Iar based on lvl would be nice too. Would be nice to have a checklist of mods selected and get notified when that item shows up in the marketplace.
The way to put something up on Traderie to show you're looking for something is the same as posting something for sale, except you select Looking For under the item after your search for it. That, or go through the Add Listing on your profile page. Just change the default selection from Selling to Looking For. Hope that helps.
Thanks man exactly the info I was looking for ur examples were enough to give me a general idea of what things are worth. Have you personally ever bought something from d2jsp is it legit
This is nothing to do trading lol but I have a question I’m in act 3 Hell level 83 and was farming and not finding much of anything good should I just continue and finish the game or continue to farm looking for what ever?
@@SweetPhil thanks for the fast reply just not finding much of anything and I realize my mf is only at 275🙄 so I’ll probably change gear and continue 👍👍 thanks again
Makes me cringe thinking about how many items I overlooked over the years. When I was a kid I didn't even know what runes were what. I don't want to think about the ones I've overlooked...
I don't view people agreeing to trade you for more than an item is worth a scam. Can't expect people on opposite sides of the computer to know if the person is not knowledgeable or just wants to sell badly and is trading away cheap.
