Always rough to find out 99% of your stash is considered worthless. But end game value and leveling value are very different. Stashing some of these for a new build isn't bad

@@DutchiezRNG... Spirit is a good easy runeword. Do you think all the other ones are easy to do? Infinity as so on.. Also not best in slot for most classes at all. But a 35 fcr one is good for sure.
The barisa crossbow is strictly for the Amazon or boazon to use to the physical immune so you get those patches where they have physical immunes you switch to the Buriza and gun them down
Love that runewords made 99% of all uniques worthless... It's one of the things with playing established games that everyone is going for effectiveness rather than trying out some new fun builds and weapons and being innovative. I hope that Ressurected can come up with some new ideas so that 99% of items aren't trash and you have to roll sick rare or crafted rings to get something with real value. Loving the game again coming back to Ressurected but this is something that always has irked me the wrong way.
Agreed, these videos made me bummed. Common base items having more value than iconic unique items. Guess I can just be underpowered and trade runes for the sweet items I want to try?
Power creep. I wish they made runewords way easier to get but weaker than uniques and instead made uniques more powerful and rare. Basically, runewords are use-case items but are also more powerful than uniques which is silly and made uniques virtually obsolete.

My PC of 8 and a half years died literally the moment I first tried Diablo 2 Resurrected last weekend. Even though I can hardly blame the game for it (especially since said PC could barely even meet the minimum system requirements and it's been through a lot since early 2013) I can't help but feel hesitant. Top tip everyone. Don't use the quick 'Play' button. Go in to the lobby and create a game and pw. Last night I got disconnected during a corpse run and lost a lot of gear and money. I had two corpses on the ground and when I played a new game only one of the corpses was in town, not the second. If I had of created a game in the lobby, I believe I could have went back in to the same game and reclaimed everything but since it was an automatic game I did not know the game name and pw.
I literally watched this vid at lunch today and found an eth ribcracker from hell Andy. I couldn't even believe it. Up that badboy and throw a Zod in there and you've got a fantastic Fury Druid weapon.
So let's clarify something. All of those runes on the left there are classified as "high runes"? If so, then why are the lowest ones valued as .01 HR, if it's a high rune itself? I'm confused on this one. Also, we're assuming that runes are the currency here, am I right?
All I learned is how better the economy of PD2 and PoD is in comparison to D2R :/ Having something small like Wss or Ooc being worth through the whole game makes sucha big difference.
I recall playing OG, online had item mules due to storage limitations. I'm taking to figure this was changed in the remake? Is storage shared between your own characters rather than isolating the storage to one character?

I like to run Marrowalk on my Summon Necro. Whilst they're a great upgrade, they're just not worth trading for. You're far better off just waiting for them to drop. I'd maybe offer Dol to Ko for them.

Especially with transferring between characters being so easy now, I definitely pick up and keep a lot more starter gear. It's nice to be able to keep your new toons well fed while you're going through instead of just relying on RNG or rushes.

I traded a bstar and schaefers this week to zealers (don't see many of those) for lem each. ebotd would be better but they're decent alternatives to runewords. But then again those are the only two I've ever ran into in a trading game lol.
Bstar and Shaefers were both meta 1h weapons before 1.10. I agree that they aren't generally going to have trade value but early in a ladder before people have mad runewords everywhere they're decent. Lem is a bit surprising.

It isn't that they're trash to use. If you're walking in Nightmare, something like Infernostride is great but it has no trade value. You're not going to get a Pul rune for them or anything.

What I'm *really* interested in is the valuable whites, grays, blues, and yellows. So many of those drop and it's hard to know what's worth picking up and what is just noise. With uniques you pick up everything and can evaluate it later but with blues that simply isn't practical. I know about stuff like JMoD's (Jewelers Monarch shield of Deflection), but I've heard there's a number of other things as well. It'd be nice if there was a mod out there that threw confetti when you identified something that rolled good stats.
So I was hoping to find out what gear to look for on a WW Barb and found out I have nothing to strive for. All the "value" items are caster items... I wonder if thats a player bias since llama usually runs caster characters.
Llama has said many times that whirlwind barb is the last character he'll ever touch, so he's definitely not going to value anything a ww barb would value. There is tons of crazy gear that Llama won't cover in any of his videos that's weird rare items, or 6os stuff with lots of random jewels and things stuffed into it, etc. It's really up to you to check the breakpoints for the character and figure out what stats you want to aim for. You can check jsp forums for "ww barb for sale" posts to see what kind of gear they're selling.
I found a unique paladin shield called 'Havoc Guard" i cant find it anywhere online, and it is not in this video, I am trying figure out if I should keep it. Seems so damn strange 20 years of this game and no one has ever recorded it? "Havoc Guard, Akaran Targe, Def 169, CTB 30%, RS34, RL31, +4 mana, CR 65%, LR 47%, FR 47% PR 47%, ATD of 9, Lvl 3 BLessed hammer 41 charges, Etheral. any help would be awesome.
No, it reduces the amount of frames required per spell, so you can for example spamm fireball faster or spamm teleport vaster with less stutter time in between. As far as I am aware there are no real spells with cooldown in Diablo 2
a list on your site would be waaay more useful.. then you could just ctrl+f the item you got and see if its worth keeping.. or timestamping the sections. i like your videos, but having to rewatch the whole thing or skip around everytime i find something that i don't know it's worth is... time consuming lol.

The ethereal needs a zod otherwise it will break. That’s also super fast grief with crushing blow as well it’s pretty good

95% of uniques were trash in original D2 as well. Itemization in this game was baaaaad.
Yeah spirit is wayy too good for easy it is to make. Basically no reason to use anything else for most builds.

Iirc I once traded a pul for a 2/20 Marrowwalk. A +1 Marrow is worthless. A +2 Marrow with a high strength roll is debatably BiS for summoners.

BIS for a smiter is something more like a Grief or Last Wish. Most BIS uniques fell to runewords.

a list on your site would be waaay more useful.. then you could just ctrl+f the item you got and see if its worth keeping.. or timestamping the sections. i like your videos, but having to rewatch the whole thing or skip around everytime i find something that i don't know it's worth is... time consuming lol.
