2. You need to have three to four pictures of yourself in your gallery 2:42
If you go online and find a profile with one picture, you should be cautious for it can be a fake profile. At least one of those pictures needs to be a full-body picture. Full body pictures show the real you and not somebody else.
3. Keep your description simple 4:30
A majority of online dating people will not read your description if it is a long one. For women with a long description, it may show that they are difficult or too much to deal with. However, men should have a long description on their profile because women like to read into details to know you better.
4. Speak in the positive, not the negative 5:55
Focus on positive things as it goes along with attracting people to your profile. Avoid dwelling on the negative side as no one is interested in it and it keeps people away from your profile.

Give people value on your profile in order to attract them to you. Change your description into more value and see what you will receive in return.

Commit to the process, walk in purpose and good luck:)
1) profile photo - smile, no shades /filters
2) profile - at least 3-4 photos (esp. if you're fine!)
3) profile -at least 1 full length pic (no weird angles or false adverts)
4) description -women keep it simple (bullet points)
5a) description -men write at least 1 paragraph
5b) speak in the positive (what you do want, not what you don't)
6) present your value (why you should be the one they contact)
7) reach out to men (even a simple message hi or smiley face, of interested they'll reply)
8) don't take non responses personal (old profiles will still be up)
9) pray about it

Great advice. I’ve actually done the online dating numerous times over many years. It’s definitely a great way to weed out the good and the bad dates. I’ve been dating a great guy for almost 3 months now that I’ve met online. We had a great conversation back and forth one day, then decided on talking via phone. We met face to face for a quick meet/greet 2 days after being online. We spent the following week just talking and getting to really know each other, and now are seriously dating. I initially went online out of boredom and also being encouraged by a co-worker to give it another try. I’m glad I did.

It is simply NOT possible. I prefer the old ways of dating. Face-to-face, despite the bad breath or yellow teeth. And while it can be time consuming at times...........taking the time to get to know someone, to do a background check, to be tested for STD's, and a credit check nowadays are necessary. NO JOKE!

I never did the free sites like POF or Black People Meet because I heard that it’s nothing but a bunch of clowns😁 my advice is to upload 3-4 recent pics, at least 2 full body and most importantly keep your profile light amd sweet. No lengthy paragraphs and don’t put what you don’t like, only put what you like... also put your filters for the entire US, unless you have children then you never know where love will lead you... good luck!!

I’ve had a good experience with online dating and I NEVER sent the first message... Most of the sites have a feature where they can see who viewed their page. If they’re interested then they will seek you out... the most that I’ve ever done is “like” an interesting pic like if it’s something cool or different... not a regular pic of them with their shirt off or a night out with their friends

If it's a dating app where u don't need to match to message someone then yes there's no problem with a female messaging someone first. But I feel like if it's fb dating or tinder where you have to match before you message, I believe the man should message first.

The full length picture is accurate. Now I choose to say full length , rather than say can you send me a full body picture. The reason is most women are going to think your looking for sex or your just focusing on their body. I use this analogy , if I walk in to purchase a car, and car salesman walks out and says I have this really nice car and give me these wonderful description of the car, but only shows me the front end, and I ask him well can I see the full car? And gets angry and say well does it matter ; yes because I"m spending my money so I should be able to see what I'm purchasing. Not everyone is going to like what they see, but there some who will like what they see. And put up a picture where you are fully dressed, not having your breast hanging out, or your butt turned to the camera. Remember ladies don't advertise what you don't won't to sale.
Hello, this is great advice, however I do have a question. How does someone determine if the person you are talking to online is a real person or a scammer? There are alot of fake profiles out there. To be honest, I think I can sense it more or less intuitively from their text and their pictures, but here is a bit of advice from the top of my head:
- If their text sounds too much like it's been through google translate, it's definitely a red flag.
- If they have more than one picture of themselves, it's a good sign (but it is not a guarantee, and if they have only one picture it isn't necessarily a red flag in and of itself).
- If you save a picture of them on you computer, you can make a reverse picture search with google. This way you should be able to find out if they have stolen the pictures from somebody else. However, if they have mirrored the picture before uploading it, the reverse picture search might not find the pictures, and then you would need to mirror the picture too and then make another reverse search. This method isn't bulletproof, but it can reveal some of the scammers.

Tried online dating and let's just say it didn't work out. Majority of them are in a relationship or not on my level financially. I'm far from being rich, but I know how to handle my financial obligations and save money. I'm a thick woman so if I show my full body it's a wrap. Their focus will be on smashing. No such thing as women taken pictures at an angle that make her look different than she really is. The man has a problem- he didn't look at the pictures well enough to begin with. And he usually is VERY rude about talking to you about your body shape/figure too! A lot of men have one or two pictures of their head but turn around and be asking women for I dont know how many photos. Many times men basically catfished themselves online but blame the woman.
