Your cross stitch designs are all gorgeous. You are a very talented stitcher. I loved the beautiful angel especially - I am not religious but am a believer. I hang my angels with pride. Love my mermaids too. Regardless what we believe the love you put into your cross stitch art shows. They are gorgeous and bring so much joy to others when viewing. Thank you for sharing . Your backs put my stitching to shame. Mine are never neat as I frame straight away and thankfully never have to see it lol. Enjoy your videos immensely.
I always enjoy it when you put a video up because you find the nicest patterns to stitch
Thank you! Hopefully I'll get another video out soon, but sadly stitching time is scarce at the moment
Boy, that kitty loves you.
Good to see you again. Your finishes are stunning, especially the angel. Happy stitching 😊
Thanks Lorna, it's good to be back! happy stitching to you too.
I have gamer headphones, and I had forgotten that I had vibrate on and Paddy purring is probably the loudest thing I've ever heard. Love him!
Eek, sorry! I kept meaning to put a warning about that in the video title, which I've done now. He was very happy to be the centre of attention, that's his favourite position. Hope he didn't deafen you! I tried to turn it down in editing but I guess my speakers aren't very good.
hanmayde No need to apologize and as long as Paddy is happy, everyone is happy.
Welcome back! Happy to see you 💕 gorgeous finishes and very neat sewing! Lovely!!!
Thank you, Anastasia!
Your cat is gorgeous and stole the show with the purring which I absolutely loved listening to. Congratulations on your spectacular finishes!!!
:D Thanks Andrea! He's a menace, always stealing the limelight! I recorded another video and he arrived in that too (although I might need to rerecord for other reasons).
Love love love your mermaid and 2 fairies projects.
I am so very happy to see you again.. your work is so beautiful.
Thank you, Connie! Sorry it took me so long to come back
Great to see you again, and with lots of lovely finishes! can't wait to see your new starts and projects! xx
It's good to be back, fingers crossed it sticks this time :D
Congrats on your beautiful finishes and stitching, happy stitching xx
Thank you, and the same to you too!
Lovely to see you back. So many beautiful project. Looking forward to seeing more videos
Thank you Nolene, I'm happy to have finally made another video! I've "just" got to edit the rest of the footage, so hopefully by next week the follow-up video will appear!
Hi Hannah, I’ve just binged on you r videos and they are so amazing. I’m glad you found your stitchy back. When you’re older you will know there are times when that happens and sometimes for no good reason. I hope you stick with us and continue to make lots more videos for us to enjoy and reran from😊💕🌷
Thank you, Sara! I know it's perfectly normal for interests to wax and wane, but this had all the hallmarks of a waning due to mental health taking a dive, which I've been struggling with on and off for years, hence my concern. Things seem to be on a gradual up now, touch wood, so hopefully there'll be plenty of videos yet to come!
Beautiful work
So happy to see you again 😊 Beautiful finishes!! Can't wait to see your wips video! Take care and happy stitching!! 🤗
Stitching Becca thank you! I've got the footage filmed so got to edit it together, sometime later this week hopefully!
I didn't realize that butterfly was so massive! LOVE seeing all your finishes. Your projects are all so beautiful. Looking forward to your next videos! ~Angela
Thank you, Angela! Yes, it's hard to get an idea of its size on Instagram posts, and to think if I'd carried on with the other butterfly it would have been twice as wide!
Ohhh what a feast for the eyes, this video! :-) So great to see you again, and my oh my what fantastic finishes!
I LOVE that idea to turn your hardanger into a purse. Yes yes yes go for it.
Mieke you're too kind :D I'm really pleased with myself for the idea, just hope I can execute it to a decent standard!
It's lovely to see you back again, Hannah. You've got some really gorgeous finishes there, which is no surprise. Butterfly fairy is stunning. I look forward to seeing more stitchy goodness from you soon. Hugs Marie x
Thank you, Marie! It's good to be back. Fingers crossed I can be a bit more regular with my updates!
You are amazing at cross stitching! You're definitely my favorite stitcher of all the cross stitchers i watch here in youtube! I only wish i could be as good or fast as you are! I really really admire all your cross stitching work! congratulations, you have a good taste at picking all your projects!
Thank you so much! Unfortunately I've slowed down a lot recently as work has been very busy. What kinds of projects do you like to stitch?
I stitch smaller protects than you, because of my vision, but I like to stitch flowers, wreaths, birds, Christmas ornaments (I've made a lot of Christmas ornaments) I honestly like everything EXCEPT Country/Old style patterns with those little houses and tiny trees with straight lines! I don't like that kind of easy patterns! or Halloween stuff! I've never been interested in that! I love real nature patterns , a little more complicated patterns! I stopped stitching for many years when my kids were growing up and I had perfect vision! 😃 Now Ive started to stitch again but it takes me longer because my vision isn't the same anymore! I learned cross stitching when I was like 12 and I've loved it ever this hobby! It's very relaxing! That's why I admire your work! because you do very complicated stuff that I only dream I could do! 😁 Congratulations! and keep on the excellence! 🙌
The cream fabric for the angel was a great choice. Loved seeing all your beautiful finishes and look forward to seeing your WIPs in the next!
Thanks, I think it worked out in the end :) although not sure whether she'll be going up on my wall. Not that any of them will be going up any time soon, I'm so slow at getting around to fully finishing! The WIPs/starts video is in editing so hopefully not too long before it'll get uploaded, though my internet access is being a bit shonky at the minute so fingers crossed!
Wonderful to see you again. Your stitching is amazing. Thank you so much for sharing. Looks like you overcame your non stitchy bug issue :) And I love your non-cross stitch projects. I am starting to love machine sewing again and got a new Juki so I am making vinyl front project bags. I love the baby items tote you made - great idea. I have made several fold up diaper pad packs for new moms. Basically it is a mini pad to change the baby , but it has three flat pockets at the bottom - for mini wipes, a diaper and lotion, and folds up to easily fit in a purse for a quick trip to the store or outing so you don't have to lug a big diaper bag for a short trip. Looking forward to your next video!!
Thanks, it's good to be back! Hopefully it will stick this time :D I'm not sure my "when in doubt, start a load of new things" approach is sustainable in the long term, but what the heck. I'd love a new machine but all of my money is going towards cross stitch at the moment, oops! I've dabbled with vinyl a few times but it's tricky stuff, I obviously need more practice. I thought about making a diaper clutch too, but thought Dad might not find it as useful as Mum, so went for the caddy instead. I also toyed with the idea of making a ring sling but couldn't decide on what fabric to use.
Good to see your beautiful stitching. Glad you've got the stitching bug back😃. See you I hope😃
Angela Springett thanks, Angela, it's good to be back. Fingers crossed it sticks this time!
Sorry for the belated response but I absolutely love your finishes. Hardanger Carpacar is my favorite Hardanger designer and Malaka is definitely one I want to stitch once I get a bit more practice. Your Mirabilias tempt me to start the ones I have kitted up! Looking forward to more great videos. Happy stitching!
Thank you so much! Malaka was a joy to stitch. I ordered some fabric for finishing it into a purse but it wasn't the right colour, I need to look for something else. I'm really excited to try my hand at a finish technique so different to anything I've tried before with my needlework.
I wasn't tempted by Mirabilia for years after I first saw them, until flosstube started and people were showing them. Even then I could only find one design that I liked. But after stitching that first one I fell head over heels in love and I can't stop, they are just so enjoyable to stitch and stunning when completed. Which ones do you have kitted?
My first Mira was “Lady of the Mist”. Gifted to a relative. Then I got burnt out for a few years and recently finished “Blossom Harvest” “Newborn Joy” (gifted) and now almost finished with “Silver Moon Tea””.
I have kitted “Crystal Symphony”, “Red”, “Maidens of the Seasons “ I and II, “Cinderella”, Lady of Mystery”, “Tree of Hope”, “Lady Hera” , “Touching the Autumn Sky”, “Ring Around the Rose Tree”, “A Midsummer Night Fairy”, “Fairy Idyll”, and “Rosebud Lullaby”. The last one I must start soon for a new nephew. I can’t even tell you how many charts I have lol...
Arts and Designs ships one chart free of charge to Japan so I occasionally order. I like their service.
Love your stitching and your cat!
Thanks! I hope the purring down the microphone wasn't too off-putting :D Paddy's sure to make future guest appearances, he likes to be the centre of attention
So many lovely finishes. Thanks for sharing them all. Love the beautiful fairies. I know the blends are a lot of work, but that picture is amazing.
Thank you, Dorie! Blends don't bother me much at all now, having had to work with so many in that piece :)
¡ preciosos trabajos !😍👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Beautiful finishes!
Amanda M thank you!
Beautiful, beautiful projects Hannah!! Can't wait to see your wips video!! I also love the Lanarte project that you posted on instagram today. Absolutely beautiful and I really love to stitch on black fabric, although I haven't stitched a project on any in awhile now. Need to see what I have that will look good on black and get busy kitting them up, lol!!! Take care, Ruth.
Thanks, Ruth! The WIPs and starts video is in editing :) I've put in a bit more work on the Lanarte Woman and Flowers than the photo, and she's already such a stunner. If only she wasn't on aida, I'd probably be completely obsessed, then again pacing myself is probably a good thing :) I love stitching on dark fabrics too! The colours just absolutely pop. Would love to see what you start stitching, tag me on IG or something!
So happy to see you pop up in my sub box :) Siren and the shipwreck is so beautiful! And I am loving the cat interludes 😁Those purses look awesome, you should sew a few to sell on Etsy! And if you can't treat yourself for your birthday, when can you, looking forward to seeing some of your haul too 🛍
Thanks! Haha Paddy was being a right nuisance, as per usual. I've got to sew one for myself and one for mum first, and make one out of the hardanger piece, then maybe I'll think about it :D
I'm so happy,it's amazing work, ilove the lady in Black
Thank you, Ronamarie! I love her too, and so does mum :)
So, this was the last video that I could see from you. Hopefully one Will follow soon. Thanks for your beautiful cross stitch and other things, and till the next video. Greets Christel
Hi Christel, yes I don't have many videos but I hope to record more regularly. I'm currently editing the next one so you should see that pop up soon :)
Love your videos. Thanks for sharing. Just love the fairies. Saw the pattern in Paris, but didn’t buy it. Love it, but dint think I’d stitch it.
Thanks, Michele! I was so happy to have them finished :) I completely understand what you mean, and isn't that the joy of flosstube and the various stitching social media - we can enjoy vicariously stitching that we'd not do ourselves, or even projects we would but don't have the time to!
Omg you do such nice work Amy Mcgarry
Thank you, Amy!
So lovely to see you again...your stitching is beautiful. I love the mermaids, especially siren and the shipwreck. Mirabilia are my favourite patterns and I just finished snow Queen. Now I am stitching Enchanted mermaid. I am obsessed with mermaids at the moment! You are so talented with all your other sewing projects, what lucky friends to have you making them such beautiful items! Look forward to seeing your next update xx
It's nice to be back! Thank you. I'm 100% with you on mermaids and Mirabilia, completely obsessed right now! Enchanted Mermaid is a delightful stitch, I did her a while back and she is my quickest ever Mirabilia finish :D Snow Queen, wow she's a bit of a beast! I bet she's beautiful in person. She's not on my list at the minute but knowing me she'll make it there eventually!
hanmayde That is so good to hear that enchanted mermaid was your quickest finish yet! There are so many beads!! Snow Queen was quite a beast haha she took me 19 months but I did work on a project in between and I have three daughters that keep me busy! She is on my last video if you wanted to see her or on my Instagram. I will be starting to stitch Florentina soon too. Happy stitching xx
At least with beads you don't need to keep changing thread colours :) I don't know how you find the time to do so much stitching with little ones underfoot, I find it hard enough when babysitting my nephew!
hanmayde I don’t know either haha 😀 I think that’s why my projects take me so long. But I love it!
Love cross stitch ,
Your videos are some of my favorites. I love the diversity of your taste in pieces; they're all lovely! The Nimue pattern takes the cake for me, though. So classically sweet! Are you interested in doing more of that designer? xo
Thank you :) Sorry I haven't been making them recently, but I'm going to try and be better at that this autumn. I never thought about them as being diverse, I guess because the common thread is that I like them all :D It's actually not the Nimue version of the pattern, though that's the more common. The colours seem to be quite different between the two versions, and I think the one I did is more detailed. I've got a second chart, The Musicians, which I'd really like to do. I thought I'd need a break first but your asking is making me want to get it out and see if I have fabric for it :D
love the witchykitt, ive done a few from them love them..
Oh wow, you must love your full coverage designs if you've stitched several of theirs! Do you show them in your videos?
i dont make videos, not totally liking myself on camera, and yes i do love bap,i think only 2 witchykitts (just finished Aquaman,)but ive stitched about 22 haed, and a few ms...im usually only on FB
Such a fun update! Thanks for taking the time to share all your recent finishes. One of my college friends has made several of those Necessary Clutch Wallets to sell to people - sounds like it's a very useful product!
Yay, you got caught up! Thanks for taking the time to watch :) They are really nice, I've got to make another one for my mum, maybe then I'll get around to one for myself.
i guess Im asking randomly but does any of you know a way to log back into an Instagram account??
I was dumb forgot my login password. I would appreciate any assistance you can offer me
@Cody Kameron instablaster :)
@Titus Ariel Thanks so much for your reply. I found the site thru google and Im in the hacking process now.
Seems to take quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
@Titus Ariel it worked and I finally got access to my account again. I'm so happy:D
Thanks so much you saved my account!
I'm really enjoying all your videos. So clear and informative and we have very similar taste. Your beautiful work is really inspiring me. Please could you give details of your online framer? Being able to see the selected frame around a picture of your work when choosing is a real plus.
Thanks, Caroline, glad you're enjoying them :) This frame was from frames.co.uk. Many (10?) years ago I used 3Dframing.co.uk and they had a similar system. I think it's industry standard now for online framing stores.
I love your videos! I was very sad when the cat moved and was no longer purring into your microphone, it was soothing. :)
:D I didn't notice he was laying on the microphone until editing, gave me a giggle. His insisting on doing his thumper impression whilst I'm in the middle of something is just typical!
I bought this I love how you changed her hair! Can you change the colors. I would like to change her colors. Beautiful job hope I can get started. Did you use 2 🧵 threads
Hello,I love all your finished cross stitch, that brilliant mermaid what count of fabric did you used?
I've been trying everywhere to find this pattern but found only copies of prints. I would like to know what DMC colors you used for her brown hair. Also which beads did you use for her? I cannot find this info now where. This is for the pattern made by Dome Brilliant Mermaid. I enjoy the choice of patterns you chose! I often go back to your videos for info and your pattern choices.
Hello Hannah, could you please tell me where to buy the lady in Black or perhaps the brand? Thank you
Just heard your comments about The Range frames. Did you realise that they also have a web site where you can order? Saves sitting in the aisles, although I'd love to meet you there! 😊
Ah you're dangerous! :D Thanks, I'll keep that in mind, but it's a safe bet I'll end up sitting in the aisle anyway. Just how I roll ;)
Beautiful work - I am so glad that you also show your backside. Yours is very neat and tidy!
Can u tell me in pattern is there a metallic thread and some beads? Becpuse on my pattern is none metallic threads and beads, its only regular thread of dmc...
I was so happy see another video from you :). You are so talented, all of your finishes are absolutely stunning. I've never seen that mermaid by Dome before, it is a real eye candy! Your cat, was his name Paddy? :D, is so cute, he looked so happy there being cuddled
Elisa thank you, Elisa, you're too kind! Brilliant Mermaid is a stunner and a really enjoyable stitch. Paddy's only happy when he's being held and your focus is on him rather than what you were trying to do 😆
i was wondering when you were coming back i truly love your videos you are so very talented and please make your other video very soon i just love watching your videos god bless debby duarte
Thanks Debby! I'll promise to try and be better at filming :D I've filmed the next video, just got to edit it all together this week sometime hopefully. thanks for watching!
hanmayde thankyou cant wait its going to be good god bless debby duarte
So I was watching this video with headphones on while waiting for my bus to come and I thought I heard a big diesel truck about to drive by.... but I turned around and nothing was there. Turns out it was just your kitty purring into the mic!!! Lol
Haha oh no! I thought I kinda got away with it, didn't sound too bad on my laptop. Silly Paddy, always wanting to steal the limelight ;)
hanmayde I loved it!
Your finishes are outstanding! You stitch so fast, Hannah. I can't wait for your WIPs video 😄 by the way, I also recently join flosstube community. I hope you will come visit me when you have spare time. Have a great day, Hannah 😄
Thanks, Stephany! I spend much more time stitching than I probably ought, which might explain things :D WIPs video is in editing so will be out soon. I'll be sure to check out your channel!
Hi. Love all your finishes. they are amazing. can you give me the colour conversion for the hair?
Thanks, Anela! I assume you mean the hair for Brilliant Mermaid? There are 5 shades in her hair, and from lightest to darkest I used the following: 435, 433, 898, 938/3371 (blend 1 strand each), 3371/310 (blend one strand each). Hope that's clear, just shout if you want me to clarify anything!
thank you. i want you to tell me directly. as in...x=435, y=433
I would but I don't know how to do the symbols in a youtube comment. I'll do the best I can:
Symbol - colour
= - 435
5 - 433
square - 898
1 - 938/3371
> - 3371/310
Is that better?
hanmayde yes. Thank you very much. I really appreciate it
Hello 👋🏼 my name is Lorena I am new subscriber?..And I am so happy 😀 to found you I really enjoyed your video is so pretty your projects are just amazing 😉 so so pretty I love ❤️ all especially the Mermaid 🧜🏼♀️ beautiful
Hi Lorena, thank you so much for watching and subscribing! I love stitching mermaids, check out my video #3 for Red Mermaid, possibly my favourite mermaid I've ever stitched!
Beautiful finishes!
Thanks, Sandy!
