Archie Thompson is a genuine legend of Australian Football and has gone over and beyond in his service to the game here. Whilst he might not be perfect (no one is), he's our A-Leagues Archie Thompson and whether a A-League fan or Melbourne Victory fan, he has given us so much to cheer or boo in all his time. I'd like to see Western United change their name to reference the location where they are based. The word "Western" is just a generic term and technically, Adelaide United and Perth Glory are more "western" than they are. Something like "West Melbourne ....." would give them a better identity. West Melbourne Albion or West Melbourne United or West Melbourne FC perhaps.
