Lagna Makar(10/Moon placed in 11th house (scorpio 8) at 3 deg 21 mins
SAV/BAV(Bhin astakvarga for SATURN) scores for the 3 sadde satti houses/signs are as stated below:
Virgo 6 - Commencement of 1st phase of Sadde sati, 45 degrees prior to moon placement (Oct/Nov 2010) (SAV of 27 / BAV of 3)
Libra 7 -1st phase of 7.5yrs SS transit = (SAV of 31/ BAV of Saturn 3)- commencement 15th Nov, 2011
Scorpio 8- IInd phase of 7.5yrs SS transit = (36/3) - commencement 2nd Nov, 2014
Sagi 9- IIIrd phase of 7.5yrs SS transit = (24/3) - Until approx Jan 14, 2019 as Saturn would have covered 45 degrees from the natal moon placement at 3 deg 21 mins Scorpio.
QUERY:
Am I correct in concluding that IInd phase of saturn transit over scorpio (36/3) until Jan 2017 should better out of the 4 house transits and the last phase (shani over saggitarius) should be most challenging (24/3)??

sir do we use the same logic to calculate Ashtakavarga for divisional charts on transits? For example if Saturn transit happens on my D-1 around moon get 6 point; yet at the same time same sign in my D-10 only get 1 point, could that means my career may be suffering the most?
This is superb way of analyzing the Saturn transit.. Currently I am going through the first stage, really difficult times!! score of 1 for sat and 19 for sarva astak varga.. But encouraging times seems to be ahead having scores of 5,5 for sat and 31,40 for sarva astakvarga for stage 2 and 3 respectively. My saturn is combust, Mesh rashi..

Hello Sir. Just wished to clarify for astakvarga of 6,8 and 12th house. When in case of 7.5 years of Saturn, will low astakvarga points on 12th house gives less losses and less bad things represented by the 12th house or would that still be bad as low points are there?

Need some clarification with regards to asthakavarga. I hv thula lagna. Understand tht jupiter is not good for thula lagna. But as per asthakavarga for jupiter the count is 5. How would this fare for me. Jupiter is in scorpio as per lagna . Currently running guru mahadasa and rahu bhukti.

I am a Gemini Ascendant. I have Saturn in 2nd house and it has very weak Bhinna Ashtakavarga score of just 1 (one) in 2nd and 9th house (empty). Here how the remedies should be performed for Saturn : Considering it as a weak Benefic or weak Malefic?

the total SarvaAshtakavarga score remains same for all people in the world. The points are differently distributed in each horoscope. The total points is always 337

No there is no relationship. However if Sade Sati involves your NATAL SATURN then it is also called SATURN RETURN. So if you have SADE SATI around the time you are 30 years check for SATURN RETURN.

Good explanation... Does the calculation of of Ashtakavarga points get changed if the planet shifts in bhava?
No. using the Traditional method we use only the RASI Chart. But it is better more Astrologers experiment with Bhava Chart based Ashtakavarga and see if we have anything to discover. We need universities for Astrology which is never going to happen in India at least not in the near future as we concentrate more on medicine, engineering etc.

Taurus Ascendant, Going through 7.5 shani transiting 8th house Sagittarius (with sun/ketu/mercury/venus), Jupiter in 7th house Scorpio, just started Jupiter mahadasha. Sarvashtakavarga 18 points (lowest) for Sagittarius, 20 for Capricorn (second lowest). Saturn Ashtakavarga 3 (sagittarius), 1 (Capricorn), 2 (Aquarius). Very scared of what is in store for me. Q1.Why is sarva-ashtakavarga linked mostly with saturn (as per ur video) and not linked with any other planets.
Q2.This is an extn of Q1…., Based on saturn transit only ashtakavarga was accounted(as per ur video).Similarly based on rest all planet tranist only its ashtakavarga points would be accounted.So how come rest all planets ashtakavarga score is linked with the corresponding saturn tranist.
Q3.I completely understand if there is a Saturn along with some planets in the same house, then sum of those planets ashtakavarga score can be accounted for that corresponding time.But why are we considering sarvaashtakavarga score if there is not going to be any planets together with Saturn in the same house.

Dinesh Gupta Actually, it's 0-8. Yes, it's equally applicable to other planets' Ashtakavarga tables as well. One book I recommend, and it's available in both English and Hindi, is Vinay Aditya's "Dots of Destiny". I usually get my books from the Saptarishisastrology site, which is based in India.
This is so accurate I am saggitarius moon sign, Aries lagna. I have least points in 9 th house saggitarius I.e. 20 points with lowest by Saturn '0'points.
This period has been the most troublesome time I have ever had. First half was also troublesome but not to intensity of what is happening right now, with kind of Gochara in saggitarius this year I am quite worried.
Watch my video "Top 8 facts about Saturn" and do the remedies suggested. Think about changing Karma and not explaining Karma.

Sir, I have Rohini moon with Saturn giving 5 points in Aries, 4 in Taurus and 1 in Gemini. During Sade Sati, Aries was the worst, yet it has 5 points and Gemini was the best with 1 point. I therefore find this concept confusing.

georgiegirlize He's going over the 3 signs of Sade-Sati, which is when Saturn transits the sign before the Moon (in this case, Virgo), the sign of the Moon (Libra), and the sign after the Moon (in this case, Scorpio). A book I highly recommend is Richard Houck's "Digital Astrology" and then Vinay Aditya's "Dots of Destiny". The highest number of bindus (dots) a planet can contribute to a sign/house is 8, and that's why he said 4 is good enough and that any number under 4 is bad (inauspicious). In this video he's going over the Saturn Ashtakavarga. Both Saturn and Mars are stingy with the number (< 40) of bindus they can contribute to signs/houses. In a combined Ashtakavarga "chart" the average number of bindus is 28. Anything above 28 is good. 19's bad, but 18's really really bad. A transiting planet can, for the most part, only give the results of (depending on) the number of bindus in the sign it's transiting through.
The Blakester Experience Hello, I was wondering if you could answer my question. I'll be starting sade-sati January 26 2017 and it'll be entering sagittarius. The numbers in my sarva shtakavarga on sagittarius says 27 then, the next number in capricorn (my moon sign) has 29 and also 29 for aquarius. So, I was wondering will the beginning of my sade-sati be bad because its a lower number?
Also my saturn ashtakavarga numbers our sagittarius 2, capricorn 4 and aquarius 4.
It looks like your sade-sati will be average without many ups or downs. However, you may want to check your Saturn bhinnashtakavarga to see if it's getting few (0-4) or many (5-8) bindus from other planets.

Well, the houses will show which areas of life will be affected, in your case the 9th, 10th, and 11th houses. Get a chart done on the Astrosage site and that will show you a lot, including all of your bhinnashtakavargas.
I am Aquarius Rashi and when my sadesai stared I was 3 bindu all went fine. When Saturn entered in to Capricorn (1 bindu) I faced lots of problem. My right leg was broken due to accident, I was job less that time; After that I suffered through Corona and Life was like hell and death like suffering felt. Also My Father died and I got into depression.

Most software works well. Being a computer programmer I did my own software but use Jagannatha Hora for youtube videos. My own software was done in GW-BASIC.

Sorry, I do not have the time for it. Moreover the South Indian Chart is easy to use. Just use it for a while and you will realize it. Planets go round and round in South Indian chart, whereas in North Indian it goes anti-clockwise and also ZIG-ZAG. This is not how the planets move. I have done a video explaining this. We must have a world standard - let it me the South Indian Chart. If we have many charts beginners will get confused.

The lord of the 8th sign in the drekkana chart is the 22nd Drekkana (you said 21st which is wrong). Look at your drekkana chart and experiment.

Niranjan Mandalia When you asked this question 10 months ago, transiting (sidereal) Saturn was in Libra, which looked like a very rough time for you, your family, and your finances. In your chart Saturn has only one bindu in Libra. On top of that Saturn was transiting your natal Ketu and being aspected by your natal Mars (from the 11th house). Your total bindi count (Sarva Ashtakavarga for Libra) was 21, which is low. 28 or above is good.
Right now transiting Saturn is in Scorpio close in orb to your natal Moon. As Saturn as 3 bindus in Scorpio, while this is not the best situation it's an improvement. Also, your natal Jupiter (from the 11th house) is aspecting your transiting Saturn and natal Moon. Your total bindi count (Scorpio) is 28.
Starting late January 2017 Saturn will be transiting Sagittarius and your 4th house. Saturn has 4 bindus in Sagittarius, which is an improvement. At that time your natal Saturn (from the 7th house) will throw an aspect onto transiting Saturn. That might not be a good time to get married, sign contracts, or buy a new home. Saturn will move out of Sagittarius into Capricorn in late January 2020. Your total bindi count for Sagittarius is also 28.
In your chart the best signs for Saturn to transit through are Gemini (6 bindus) and Cancer (7 bindus), which incidentally are respectively the signs for your 10th and 11th houses (in *your* horoscope), the natural houses for Saturn. Gemini has a total (Sarva Ashtakavarga) of 34 bindus and Cancer, 36. From late July 2002 to September 2009 you must have enjoyed a good career and opportunities being thrown your way because of your mind and self-efforts.
