I definitely agree, the amount of free and valuable information that is available on internet in the last few years is astounding. While I was studying, trying to find the name of a good reference book was hard. In Vedic age, distraction was less, but information was well guarded, now it’s opposite. In the age of Rahu, information is available easily without much effort and so is distraction. So it balances out, all in all students still have to struggle to gain knowledge.

I don't know the exact reason, as there can be many, but a probability of it is saturn entered in aquarius, which states that peoplw would be aligned with jyotish if they weren't, it was wriiten by depoanshu sir only. When I read it, is today when saturn is ready to makenext move and when I look back, it did come out true.
I have Rahu in lagna and I absolutely LOVED Mirrors as a child. I would spend hours in front of the mirror playing dress up after coming from school. Have Ketu in Lagna in scorpion. Agree on what you mentioned about Ketu in Lagna. My Lagna has kartari yoga Mars + Jup in second house and Ven + Sat in 12th house. Also, have Sun in D10 Lagna but it looks Ketu in Lagna supersede. Also, Sun+Ketu in leo in D9.
