An old trick handed down to me by my grandfather. He had a story of catching a 5 lb bass on bread and a cane pole and that is how he did it he caught a small brown and was pulling it out and the big bass ate him. I have three other videos they are catching three different 3 lbs the same way. One I actually caught without hooking it that's the name of the video I think. Last night so hard to bring him sideways and its throat and I got it in at 4:30 was begging for me to get it out of his throat. Now that's funny reminds me of the old joke. The man was at the pond fishing with dynamite. He would light the dynamite throw it in and pick up the fish when they floated to the top. The game warden pulled up and said sir that's illegal you can't fish like that. The man lit a stick of dynamite handed it to the game warden and said are you going to talk or fish? In a pond with shiners or shad it's not that great but when that's all they have to eat on is bream and other small Bass you can get them. My grandfather had this story about catching up I found bass on a canful with bread and he had the bass picture but I think he caught a small brim and the bass ate the bream. He just did not realize it at the time. So ancient Family secret haha
I'm brand new to fishing, and I think I may be missing something. After catching the bream, do you attach a larger hook to the line with the bream on it? Or do you remove the bream, and put him on different line?
I removed the bream and put him on another line with the live bait hook. I'm careful to hook him so he will live if the bass doesn't kill him. It helps to get the brim all chummed up with the bread that draws the bass and sometimes big catfish over to where you are it gets everything in a Feeding Frenzy! good luck on your next trip go get you some
I have thrown everything at that pond and never had much luck because it gets so much pressure those bass look at that lure and look back up at you like "are you kidding me?" Hah! If you do throw a swimbait make it a bluegill swimbait because that's all they feed on in there. Good luck and let me know how you do
If you really want to catch them on lures I suggest the first one on the right. I've had luck in there with apology 7 join a minute now and all kinds of poppers. I'm also caught a couple in the back pond on poppers they're smaller bass back there but they're in there. Good luck and let me know how you do

I've always wanted to try live bream for bass I've just never done it
