Looking forward to this! I'm working on one of ICM's He 111s. Not even close to finished yet, but one thing to look out for so far is, to improve the fuselage fit just cut off some of the locator pins, especially on the tail. Gotta get this kit sometime.
I Would be interested to see you do the Torpedo Bomber version of this aircraft in the Mediterranean/Brown paint scheme. Can't wait for the full build! :D
I used 2 of the older kits to make a He-111Z ...it was frustrating for sure. I made a resin engine and prop so i didn't have to mangle a 3rd kit...this new kit has me curious to see how it would turn out in 111Z form...cheers

But... from other side, it started to be a bit boring, namely, when we got new He-111 to the market, in almost all cases it must be H-6 variant. I still hope that e.g. IBG Models make for example early variants, like E or J. Greetings! ;)

This kit is much much more detailed and accurate. I have old boxing with V1 but I couldn’t compare it. Still a nice kit but this one is superior. All the best! D.

I've built the ICM 1/48 a year ago So if it is a Revell/ICM colaboration I assume is the same kit, right? The sprues look really similar if not the same
The only trouble I have with Revell is their paint. Too often you have to mix existing Revell paints in order to get the exact color as indicated in the instruction manual. Instead, I use matching (or as good as matching) paints by other companies.

Revells re-boxings are great, especially Zvezda kits, in the Revell version You get Cartograf decals and proper instructions instead of Zvezdas own crap.
boxes with side flaps are even worse. they need to learn from Russian and Ukrainian manufacturers how to make packaging. separate box with a lid. and she already has a beautiful cover. I then use these boxes to store other started models.

It's the ICM kit re boxed by Revell, with new decals. By the way it's a great kit.

Revell has worked with ICM before to rebox their kits. The monogram tooling is 1994, I doubt they even have those laying around still tbh.

Heinkel he 111 was one of the best WW2 planes, had a great aerodynamic design, more real heinkels need to get restored

I would agree with you, at least there should be Rlm/Fs/Ral... charts. So the modeller can choose favorite color and relax. All the best! Dusan
